This hotel has the best view I’ve ever experienced. The room is very very clean and unique (wooden floor with Japanese feel). We stayed in total 5 hotels in this Taiwan trip and 5KM villa is my Husband’s most favourite place! Will come back and stay if I visit CingJing again! Thank you for your kind hospitality!

Worth the price!”
We reserved a double villa for a night stay. The utilities are mostly big name brand and in good condition. Nice indoor deco and well maintained. The view definitely worths the price! Over viewing the lakes and green scenery, a perfect destination to watch the sunset with the tea sets the hostel served. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very cozy Villa”
The villa itself is very cozy, with all the amenities that you would need. Most rooms would offer an incredible view of sunset. Our room also has a huge tub with a view. There was an issue with hot water after hours, but the staff still addressed it promptly. Thankful for them for that. Location is further away from convenience stores, but they have link up with some restaurants for free transportation for meals. Overall a great experience.

No refrigerator in room. Clean room and good water pressure. So so breakfast Quite noisy as trucks are moving up & down the hill, would recommend to choose a higher place to reduce number of trucks moving.

5KM Villa is a charming homestay surrounded by a scenic view of mountains and trees. We were served with a refreshing tamarillo juice (from tree tomato fruit plucked straight from their garden), owl-shaped cookies and Castella cake when we arrived. Hearty breakfast served the next day was made of sandwich, sweet potato and eggs with coffee (or chocolate drink) on the side. Our room was neat and tidy with a huge glass window allowing us a refreshing view of nature. It was on the road side, though, so some faint sound of buses passing by could be heard. The toilet was squeaky clean with a Japanese bidet toilet seat. During night time, the friendly owner and staff, Luon, showed us some fireflies hovering in the garden. In the morning, we hiked the 15 minute trail to the view deck that showcased a sweeping vista of the beauty of Cingjing. It is an ideal place to stay if you have kids in tow. It's far from the center, though, so a car would make the stay more convenient.

Relaxing and comfortable stay”
Trip to 清境was made awesome with the amazing view from the 5km Villa and even though the thick fog only managed to clear when we were about to leave the place, it was still a spectacular sight. This is my second time staying here and I opted for the 2 person villa for a change. The room was so comfortable and relaxing that we did not want to leave at all, The owners and staffs were friendly and welcoming and provided all the tips that one would need, served fresh and yummy breakfast, and they have affectionate cats, Lulu and Lucas 魯卡斯，every bit of the stay was so memorable and unforgettable. Will definitely return again!

Excellent host and nice views”
Host was excellent, very detailed and patient in showing us the facilities in the rooms. Breakfast was good, like that its not buffet style. The views around is excellent. We chartered a cab so transportation was not an issue. Would have given 5 star for cleanliness if not for the dusty sofa and cushion. Highlight of the stay: Blankets and toilet seats with warmer! Totally a must have for cold winter stays up on the mountain.

位於小山坡的民宿, 有小徑及涼亭供住客上山坡走走, 欣賞風景. 還親自種值新鮮蔬果供早餐食用, 新鮮好吃. 有緣碰到師母聊天的話, 還會跟你介紹各種蔬果, 認識台中生活. 民宿佈置精緻, 實在花了不少心機. 還有一個位置可欣賞玉石飾品及手鐲, 小師傅熱情的介紹各種玉石, 真是大開眼界,遇到合眼緣的也可買回去, 價錢很合理. 房間很乾淨, 連住客也很有禮, 靜靜的說話, 可以舒適地享受美麗的環境, 下次也會再住的.
