Briliant piecefull place to chill out for few days”
Indeed you are in the midlle of nowhere but you ve got a great sand beach just for yourself, the owner servers dinner right on that beach with candles or wherever you point out. Homemade cuisine is very delicious. Not for a long stay but recommended for few days to relax in the 67th Heaven.
This resort is perfect if you like to have a good rest. Very quiet and clean. The beach is very beautiful. Originally we planned to stay 3 nights, after we arrived we extended for another 3 nights. The owner and the whole staff are very friendly and careful. The food has a big choice and is amazing. According to the value, the price was reasonable. Always again.
FEELS LIKE HOME.. IN THE HEAVEN!”
THE RESORT WAS A PERFECT SOLUTION FOR RELAX AND THE BEGINNING OF HOLIDAY. LIDIA AND YOUR HUSBAND WAS AMAZING,MADE YOU FEEL LIKE AT HOME.. BUT IN A PARADISE. GOOD FOOD AND NICE LONG BEACH. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
So cool ”
Very good. And beautiful
Mixed, relaxing but poor service”
Good place to rest for a night (we picked the Sweet Room which was by the seaside; we wouldn't recommend the standard room as they are a bit further back), right on the beach & we could hear the waves rolling in. It has hot water & a reasonable AC, along with a very essential mosquito net. Nice. Service though was inconsistent; we booked through Agoda after we'd arrived & got a different message from the staff member than what we could see in the app & in real life. She was trying to tell us the lower cost rooms didn't have AC (which they do) & we felt like we were being pressured into something higher (which we ended up taking of our own accord). This was the beginning of several occasions where we felt like we were being pushed When we ordered dinner we were told the dish we wanted to order was too small (read: cheap) for us (it definitely wasn't!), & had to keep asking to try & get out order instead of something more expensive. After explaining our order no less than 5 times it was finally delivered half wrong - the correct dish was good though. The free breakfast that was included was very tasty (especially the scrambled eggs!). Problems came though with our lunch, when we ordered 1 thing & received another at 2x the price (150 vs 300 pesos), not nearly as good as the dish we had wanted/eaten the night before. Next example was how we were told at least 4 times how we should get drinks from the mini bar (at typical mini bar cost of course). The 10% service charge (for eating in the hotel 'restaurant') was another Gunnar, one of the owners, was a very interesting fellow to talk to & we had a great chat about life in the Philippines & really learnt a lot from out talk. I just wish the others could follow his example instead of focusing on making an extra peso TLDR: Nice enough place to stay but for the service. If they could improve the service & stop pressuring on the upsell I'd definitely recommend it, but the service left a sour taste & very mixed f
Fantastic resort, attentive staff, on the beach!”
The staff at the resort are the best, taking care of all your needs. We stayed in the "Sweet Room" cottage right on the beach, with veranda with 2 chairs looking out on the beach. A quiet area, Honda beach is awesome. The 67th heaven resort, rakes the beach each day, sets out chairs and the sand just in front is soft (no rocks) and so pleasant to swim. There are no waves in the morning and evening and the water is soo warm. The staff made the place great. And they have a wood-sauna. We will come back, you should too!
one of the worst hotels in palawan.
Smells like dog poop. ”
In general, unless they clean up their dog poop and not try to juice their visitors for money. And also fix the bed bug problem, FYI the bite marks are still not healing. I suggest you go and find another place.
It became our heaven as well”
Thanks to Lydia and Gunnar, the owners, it felt like coming home! The hotel and the garden was beautiful decorated, they were ever so helpful and friendly and the setting at the beach was splendid. Gunnar was extremly helpful with organizing excursions and Lydia prepared the most woundeful dishes at almost any time. We and kids enjoyed our stay and can absolutely recommend Heaven 67 for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation!
Nice place at beach”
The kids enjoyed the beach a lot, they could just go out and play on their own. They also loved the dogs and puppies. We had great food at the beach, too. The hosts are really lovely and kids friendly. They also organised the Underground River Trip and our travel to the next destination in advance for us!
A great place to relax”
If you are looking for a quite place to relax - far away from the noisy cities - a place with an excellent restaurant and very friendly staff you should visit the 67th Heaven Holiday Resort. It is really special... Thank you
Calm, remote place but very relaxed ”
nice place for couples or a group of people - nothing much around (except a waterfall in the jungle - beautiful place), but perfect to hang out for 2 or 3 days
very simple rooms - but good service”
food is good but over priced, transport through the hotel is a ripoff, 3500 return anywhere literally(ie: from airport & underground river), island hopping was great but again boat to and from 3500, another ripoff apart from that a good stay, nothing around the resort but its peaceful there relaxing but rooms very basic.
Makes you want to stop the world and get off”
excellent time everyone was so accommodating and helped us with all our tours and travel arrangements. rooms were cleaned regularly and full change of sheets and towels. so peaceful and relaxing it makes you want to stop the world and get off
rooms great but shower was poor”
really enjoyed our stay, the host very accommodating and helpful & staff very pleasant & polite. Foods a little bit expensive. Defenitely would stay there again.
Fun, peaceful place to stay”
my wife and i stayed for two nights. this resort is kind of out of the way but if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay, you will enjoy it here. it is not a 5-star hotel but it never claimed to be. it is a small, rustic resort with 4-5 cabins total. we got to visit with the other guests and it was fun meeting and eating with them. the owners, gunner and lydia are two of the kindest people you will ever meet. they want to make your stay happy and comfortable. we went out to the beach three days straight and we had the entire beach to ourselves. looking up and down the beach in both directions, we saw no one. when the tide is out, there is a lot of sand on the beach. the water is warm and it is a great place to swim. the beach is also quite clean and the water is clear. we did get lots of sandfly bites so make sure you bring lots of repellant. there is no nightlife so if that is what you are after, this is not the place. if what you are after is a quiet getaway in a peaceful place, you will enjoy it. it takes about an hour and 20 minutes to get here from the pp airport.
not worth the money & big rip off”
We were pretty much ripped off on food since the hotel is located far away from other places (at least1 hour drive to town). The prices on each dish and drinks were outrageous since the food portion was meatless & really small(300/dish, 50/bottle of water). So we paid 1000 pesos/meal and running low on cash since the hotel has no credit card machine. What really upset us was the shuttle back into town to airport. We had another couple sharing with us, yet we both ended up paying full price for it, which was quite unfair since they only did one run. And the vehicle was crazy old, smelly and no a/c. The hotel itself is more a filipino cottage homey style. So you do not expect much of luxury or any other facilities (though they had sauna, we didn't really use it. And the bed was uncomfortable & water was low. The beach was nice and water was clear when there were low tides & less waves.
Clean & comfortable cottages in a quiet resort”
we enjoyed our stay & everyone was super. they were eager to accommodate anything we wanted. joy was there early to take your order for the evening meal & always asked what you wanted for breakfast in the morning.being vegetarian however, the menu was very limited, but manageable for a short stay.we were able to take local transportation (just waited on the road & flagged bus down)from there to puerta princesa. one of the staff waited with us the first time...it was an experience (fun). the owners were delightful as well and were always there to help in anyway they could.
Do not stay here”
We felt we got ripped off staying at this place. It offers a transfer from the airport but wanted to charge 3500 pesos for the return trip. When I arrived at the aiport thinking I would be taken straight to where I was staying, I was told I had to wait another 30mins for another couple to be also picked up. Same van may I say and then was expected to pay the whole 3500 each. You are stuck at the resort, as you can't get anywhere unless you pay a further 3500 pesos to get you back to the town. Anywhere you want to go that is the fixed price. I felt that the food was very expensive too, 250peso for a sandwich and 300peso for a chicken adobe with rice charged on top. Altogether my friend and I felt very ripped off, so we moved places and went to stay in the town. The beach didn't look like the photos and the idelic place of Honda Bay - the reef had been killed with chemicals. So no chance of snorkelling.
Friendly place, nice food”
Nice place & food, Lydia and Gunner are very friendly and they took good care of me when I was sick. Is a great place if you plan to relax close to the beach. Is located at Km 67 so I takes around 1:15 from the airport to the hotel, I would recommend the transport provided by the hotel as we paid for a taxi while the hotel charge for both ways. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to do tours (expensive if you compare with the ones organised from Puerto Princesa)
