Quiet and pleasant stay ”
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. My room was quiet and fully equipped. I used the washing machine and dryer and iron to do my laundry as I had been a few weeks in London prior and didn’t want to return to Australia with a suitcase full of laundry! Their website might need to be updated as it mentioned a “welcome basket” which I didn’t get this time (I did get a fruit basket when I stayed previously with my 2 daughters). Minor suggestions: It would be useful to have written instructions eg for the washing machine. The person did explain on checking into the room but after a long flight, nothing really sank in. And simple FAQ in the room eg breakfast times, parking (how), etc. Overall a great place to stay with the freedom to cook, etc especially if you are staying for a longer period.

The 8 on Claymore was a pleasant surprise. Spacious, well equipped apartment. Super friendly staff. Location is just great - few minutes walk to MRT, bus stops, Orchard road. We will come again, for sure!

Amazing place”
I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst on vacation. Loved the apartment, location, gym, swimming pool and facilities. Stay could not have been more helpful and welcome hamper included upon arrival. Will definitely go back. A little pricey than others but definitely worth it.

Pleasant stay”
We are a family of 4 with elderly parents (one with wheelchair). Upgraded to 3BR. Room is spacious and clean. Other than not working dishwasher and leaking aircon, all is satisfactory. Thank you.

Great staff and great rooms”
The rooms are big and and the staff is five star. If you want to stay near orchard road for a great price this is the hotell to choose. I liked the pool also. It's a good size pool that is two meters deep in the middle and shallower on both ends. There is also a kid's pool. There was always available sun chairs next to the pool when we where there. I would stay here again.

5 stars everything ”
Although the washing machine broke down on the first day, the staff and mechanics work smoothly together and in a matter of 3hrs they got it check and replaced. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but it’s good and it’s served everyday. Lastly all the staff are friendly and very clear of their roles. I must comment the GM and team to train and manage the staff so well. I will definitely recommend and visit again

Room was clean, location is fabulous and convenient. Only breakfast has no choice, bento box fix. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping is also good just that there is no room cleaning on weekends.

No frills large rooms ”
Rooms are quite big or singapore standard, spacious living room, big bathroom with strong shower pressure.. overall quite happy... Except for the cleanliness of the beds, as we all got rashes and had to get lotion n antihistamine from pharmacy...

Functional and clean, but slightly underwhelming ”
Stayed here for 2 weeks on business - service was friendly and prompt but I felt a bit underwhelmed for the price I paid. Room was functional, and things worked but lacked that extra factor. Breakfast was underwhelming with limited selection and the coffee was blah. Also long waiting times for the lift during peak hours. Other than the location and functional convenience, I probably wouldn’t stay here again

I booked this serviced apartment because of high review; but after i check-in, immediately can tell that it is not worth of what I paid for. I booked 9 nights with no refund, so I had no choice but to stay. quite dull and poor interior , not clean enough . not recommend.

Review of 8 on Claymore”
3 adults and a child of 11 years of age stayed at 8 on Claymore for 2 weeks. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. They were not in your face but any request for assistance or travel directions to the various attractions was dealt with in a pleasant manner. The apartment was serviced well and was always clean. The apartment was not serviced at the week end but knowing this in advance meant that we could plan accordingly. 8 on Claymore is ideally placed, only 5 minute walk to Orchard Road and the MRT / buses. For the shopaholics Orchard Road was a shoppers paradise. Only problem was that the shopping malls were so large and interconnected that it was easy to lose your orientation (not the fault of 8 on Claymore). Most of our party enjoyed the eastern food supplied at breakfast but my grandson and wife could not always eat it. This was not a problem as there was cereal, fruit, cold meats, cheese and cookies. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Singapore.

Excellent location with all facilities for a serviced apartment”
We are very grateful for the free upgrade from a two bedroom to a three-bedroom premium during our 8-day stay with 8 on Claymore. The apartment is huge with plenty storage space. The dishwasher (when housekeeping not available during weekend) and the washing/drying machine are user-friendly. There were snacks and cup noodles in the welcome basket (one-off supply) which was great when we were hungry upon arrival and all the restaurants nearby were closed. The 24-hour gym and 16-hour swimming pool were clean and superb. Centrally located on Scott’s Road, it takes only 5 min to Orchard MRT if you take the short-cut through its back door to its sister hotel. Supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants (from food court to Michelin two star) are all within a few minutes’ walk. Everything was great during our stay! Would definitely recommend to everyone going to Singapore!!!

Amazing Staff, Amazing Location”
Our stay was such a great experience, we arrived early in singapore at 6am and our room was ready for us!! along with offering breakfast for that morning. I would like to make a special mention to Joo (i think it was) she showed us around the room and the building and was happy to help with absolutley anything. The location is absolutely perfect right near ION (the major shopping centre) as well as shopping on scotts and orchard road and extremely close to the MRT. The buffet breakfast was good but having the option to dine at the sister hotel royal plaza on scotts at their buffet was better as they had a much bigger range. I cant rave about the staff enough they helped me with printing off documents, booking more luggage and arranging flowers for my boyfriend to give me on a certain day. I cant recommend this serviced residences enough, it made our holiday all more enjoyable, i will definitely be returning. Thankyou 8 on claymore!!

Great stay at 8 on Claymore”
Stayed 12 days at 8 and was not dissapointed, comfortable big bed, roomy modern furnished apartments which were very very clean. The location to Orchard road and station was a major plus and came in handy for easy access to other parts of the island. Upon arrival the check in process is quick and efficient and the friendliness of the staff was nothing short of amazing. The only one thing that I feel let the experience down was the Breakfast, resonably limited and some of the hot options did not go so well with each other, things like scrambled eggs were not cooked overly well. All in all I would rate this a strong 4 star establishment, not 5.... I would definitely stay here again and thank the team at 8 on Claymore for a very comfortable stay
