solid Thai middle class ”
the surroundings of the hotel are realistic lower middle class, practically untouched by tourism. there is some life in the Soi during the day, with one small shop, and one soup stall or so. but at night all is extremely quiet. on the main road there is 7/11 and more street-food during the day, again untouched by tourism. bts is 20 bath with motorbike away, so is easy to reach downtown. taxi to silom/sathorn should be about 100 bath. For a One-star-hotel (!) the reception area appears almost as a lobby, with a fountain and living fish. the interior of the rooms remains solid and appealing. all rooms have balcony; some rooms look out backyards which grants them less light. the bathrooms en suite are real restrooms, with nice interior as well. it should be quite a good plae for families indeed.

Decent hotel, but far from everything”
the room itself is spacious enough, and the tv was an old crt set with a few english channels (if that's important to you). the "balcony" is a 50cm-square outcrop that's blocked off by wooden boards. the furniture inside the room was stained, while the bed was hard--this could be a good or bad quality, depending on your perspective. staff was very nice and got a low price for the room, but you'd have to pay ~us$to get anywhere in the city, as the hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, and there's really nothing around. however, there is wi-fi in the rooms, so if you're looking for somewhere to work or relax, you'll be fine.

My particular shower took particularly long to heat up but works ok. 5 minute walk to a great selection of street food, 7-11. Taxis all along the road makes transportation a breeze. Internet is pretty decent.

Good hotel but out of the way”
I had a good stay here but it was out of the way and not all taxi drivers knew the location or area. Staff was helpful and polite but there is a ROOM DEPOSIT. There was some kind of problem giving me my room deposit back but it was in my hand within a couple minutes....not sure what the misunderstanding between the staff was. No food nearby, not even a 7-11 (that should tell you something about the "out of the way" part)

it is always a trouble for cabby to locate where the house is. but its real good for local experience. the food is real cheap n nice. especially its convenient as u can use the kitchen any time u like. there is a person who would help u wash the dishes too!
