      Beautiful Location and Fair Prices”

A-Na-lay is located in a beautiful bay that has great swimming and snorkeling. You can rent kayaks for 300 baht a day and scooters for the same price to go exploring the island. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager even went out to get me some eye drops from the pharmacy one night after I came down with an eye infection. They have a breakfast every morning that serves both a western and local fair. The prices at the restaurant are cheaper than the surrounding resorts. There is a convenience store located just out front not associated with it as well so you can get household products as well as snacks and drinks late in the evening long after the island shuts down. There is a dock located at A-Na-lay and you can get a boat directly to the resort and they offer a snorkeling trip to Koh Rang as well. The sunsets are beautiful and the rooms are pleasant and peaceful. I had stayed at another resort before and was skeptical when my Thai fiance wanted to stay here, but I was won over b the resort. My only complaint was that I kept getting lost early in the week getting back to my room. I like how they incorporated the natural surroundings into the resort instead of paving everything, and after a few nights I was finding my way around easily.

      This place is gorgeous! ”

I've read different reviews about the resort but my opinion is that it's a real paradise! Afterwards we stayed at other resorts on Koh Kood but they were much worse for diffrent reasons and for the same or even higher prices. First of all the resort has its own bay so you feel cozy. The territory is really beautiful with its wooden bridges, torches and palm trees. The restaurant has a very nice terrace facing the sea. There is a swimming pool (however we never tried it because we prefer swimming in the sea). Breakfasts are included and they are tasty. The bay is a perfect place for snorkelling. There's more fish than in other far away spots and the fish are not afraid of you at all. The have kayaks and paddling boards for rent (I fell in love with the latest). And the last thing to m ention: our bungalow exceeded our expectations! We took the cheapest one, on agoda it is called a bungalow with a fan. But there was an A/C and a fridge and a safe! Highly recommended

      Great stay in Analay”

That was the only hotel on Koh Kut that we lived in. We actually arrived for one night and decided to stay for 4 nights. Awesome location, basic but very tasty breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful (we had a bike accident before and asked a lot of things there, they always helped us with a smile and it actually looked like that they like their job), great view, very nice beach just 2-3 minutes from your bungalow. We met a couple from UK that comes back to this hotel every year for 10 years. We paid 1800THB for the night and it's a good value for money on Koh Kut. (but prices can be different as they have a big variety of house types and views) Our house looked a bit worn out but taking into account other factors we really enjoyed our stay and would probably come back to A-na-lay if we come back to Koh Kut.

      BEST RESORT IN KOH KOOD”

We enjoyed our stay in A-na-lay resort over the past 4 days. The staff was very helpful and the beaches were clean and private. Food is also good. However, would prefer if they get rid of the rats at the beach bars (we told the bartender, and he said it's normal as the bar is next to the jungle). There was also mosquitoes at the bar but unfortunately they dont have any mosquito coils to make our drinking session comfortable. This is the only hiccup which can be improved. I still love our stay at the resort.

      Quiet and excellent beach location”

This is a preferred resort which we have stayed several times and have never been disappointed. Since the last time we stayed the resort has made some renovations and has also built new rooms closer to/on the beach. This time we stayed in one of the new beach bungalows which despite being far from the restaurant and reception we found to be quiet and serene. The staff at a na lay are very helpful and friendly. Overall a na lay is an excellent choice for single/ couple or families and is perfectly priced. We definitely reccomend this resort and will continue to stay here in the future. Thank you to all a na lay resort staff for making our stay a happy one.

Great place, one of the nicest in Ko Kut!”

Beautiful Setting, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food

Our stay here was excellent! The staff is really friendly and I don't understand any of the negative reviews. The hotel is positioned with one side on the beach and the other side with rocks and reef which are great for snorkeling. The beach at the hotel is beautiful, calm and empty of people. All of the resort is connected by a series of rustic walk ways and the dining area is set over the ocean/rock area. We found the food at the restaurant to be excellent. Many Thai vacationers stay here also so the food is more authentic Thai rather than some of the other restaurants on the island that cater to westerners. The resort is close to klong chao but we enjoyed the distance and the fact that the hotel isn't righr by the road. The hotel also rents motorbikes, snorkeling gear etc and also offers tours which are alll reasonably priced. Would highly reccommend this place!

right on a great beach, clear water”

If you want to be right on a charming sandy beach with few to no people this is it. Water is very clear and warm with gentle ebbing waves. Like elsewhere in Thailand coral all around this area is brown and while underwater sea life is there, it's not world class. Again normal for Thailand. Snorkeling at Koh Rang there was a bit more to see, but not really a worthwhile trip compared to what can be seen right next to the resort. Only disappointment at this resort is seafood is not even as good as in Bangkok and since the place is so isolated no other easy options for dining. Not bad, just nothing to write home about. Good breakfast. Upgraded rooms are nice and comfortable enough, but sound proofing is lacking. Would gladly stay again.

      Nice located bungalow Resort! ”

It was very nice there. New clean bungalows and a very nice pool located close to the sea. Good Restaurant with cheap prices. At the weekend mostly all inclusive thai tourits stay here, very nice and friendly people. One thing you have to take care about, they have some old bungalows ( we have never seen them) which must have a very low comfty level, thats what other guests told us. All in all its a nice resort with a good price for koh kood. We recommend it!

Amazing location, but need to pay attention to room type”

The resort is located at a beautiful bay and has its own beach, with no other resorts sharing it. The beach is as good as it gets! We checked several other beaches in the island, and this one was the one we liked the most. Our room was about 30 meters from the water line. The swimming pool is also very nice. One thing that we didn’t like is that we paid the same price for our room as our friends who cane with us, but they had a much nicer room than ours. We had an outdoor toilet and shower in the back of the room, which can be disturbing for some people, since you’re exposed to nature (sun, rain, bugs) every time you need to go there. We also had no cabinet to put clothes in. Our friend’s room had indoor shower, cabinets, and the overall room looked better. They were a little further from the beach, but also about 1 minute walk.

Island isolation Swimming Natural beauty of the island

Difficult to be fair because the central umberella acitivity dining/ office/reception was a bit haphazard. The young Cambodian staff did try to please but it is by no means a luxury holiday. Having said that Koh Kood is a stunning island and we did enjoy the experience. It is no use if you are alone or unaccompanied. You need your partner there. I think the speedboat transfer is overpriced and that's the only way to travel there from Koh Chang. I would go again but would like to select a different resort on the island due to the many Thai groups in evidence who were a bit noisy.

      Nicest beach, good staff

We absolutely loved it here, the staff were attentive, the food was of a very good standard, the room was nice and clean, the private beach was one of the best on the island, the only bad point that we found was the shop on a-na-lays ground was quite expensive and to rent a moped from them was 400bht a day and we found it for 250bht a day elsewhere on the island, all in all we love it and will definitely be going back.

      Beautiful Location”

The Access to the beach, The Views, The Location

I had booked 2 rooms with A/C with Sea View and Upon arrival at the resort we were upgraded to VIP rooms. I think this was due to availability, However it was a nice touch. The rooms are were perfect for what we wanted and literally a stones throw from the beach. The views especially sunset whilst sitting on the porch were outstanding. The resort has Snorkel equipment for rent at 100 Baht per day, which is a little pricey if you are going to stay any longer than 7 days I would recommend buying your own mask and snorkel prior to arrival if you plan to stay longer than 7 days. Moped's are available to rent at 250 Baht per day which is reasonable. Friendly staff. My only gripe about my stay was the maintenance and building work going on right outside our front door. I let it go on for a few hours before going to speak to the reception, I was pleasantly surprise to find the work had stopped immediately after my complaint. All in all we had a pleasant stay at A-Na-Lay resort and would most likely go back again. Thank you to all the staff for their friendliness and help.

Beach is the best here but accommodation should be renovated ”

As I’ve booked VIP room, as my experience of hotel business it should be better than standard room but what we got from the resort was just like old cottage, compare to other cottage that’s cheaper than what I paid Big bed but very hard bed, toilet and shower room is in the same room and I’ve got room with outdoor showering experience, but everything I’ve seen it’s considered old, old toilet that looks unpleasant to sit on it, Air conditioning always makes noises during the night, I stayed here 4 nights but to be good compliment is just exceptional beach and snorkeling area that I strongly believe you won’t find any better on koh kood island, Food here is quite expensive and few choices for you to choose, breakfast is just acceptable

      OK one”

The location is good, however there were missing people in the resort, it was so calm or "dead". The staff was so bored and on smartphones. The bungalows were fine, but too many holes via which the animals could get into the rooms. It wasn't noisy. Beach was clean, other beaches near to the resort were also very clean, white sand. Few nice restaurants near to this resort, bar, they also had shop within resort, bikes for rent. It's more calm island compared to the e.g. Samui, less tourists, less services. Breakfast in the resort was ok, nothing special. Staff could speak English, the resort also arranged the taxi pick up from pier and also to the pier while leaving. The pool was clean. The only thing that bothered me was the dirt near the restaurant on the rocks. During the low tide there were many plastics shown under the restaurant on the rock, why couldn't they clean that up? They were bored whole day so they should clean that stuff out of the water.

      quiet, nice place”

      staff, food, price

we stay 4nights in a-na-lay. quite nice and clean small house but there wasn't hot water in the shower. beautifull area around the resort. too far away from the beach, 15min walk. but beach is very beautiful and very clean sea. cheap food in menu(from ), try 'flat noodles in gravy with pork or shrimp'. good breakfest buffet. on the evening we recommend dinner buffet for 950b-great!!!:) very nice service and manager. you can rent kayak for day, motorbike for half day, fishing rod for day. for all day long: water, tea, coffe for free. nice place for snoorkeling.
