Good location within 10minutes walking from Dresden central station Clean room and comfortable bed with private bathroom and hair dryer There is also a nice staff who lets us leave our luggages before check in time.

Pros, near to center train st, city and supermarket, specious room with locker but you much have you only key to lock to locker,Room is clean, good internet connection Cons, a bit noise as it is located near to the train track, bed is too soft, you have to buy a bed sheet. Overall, will stay here again

Dorms are pretty basic but clean. There’s washroom and shower room in it. Remember to bring your own towels and bedsheets because they are not provided (of course). I accidentally booked a mixed dorm room and was very uncomfortable because some guys made a rude/horny comment about wanting a girl (i am the only one in that room) to sleep next to him. I asked the receptionist if i can change my room and she promptly addressed it with friendliness and efficiency. I forgot to ask her name but she made my stay a bit more comfortable and I am very thankful for that.

Budget youth hostel ”
I thought this was a good price, I do think the breakfast was a bit pricey for me. The big downside was the inadequate mattress which was very uncomfortable The staff were great and the location was excellent . Maybe it would be better for a long person ( without back problems ). The finishing touch was the local Supermarkt was at the back

Family stay with small kids”
We took Quadruple room. Kids were very exited about double deck beds. Two things to mention - gigantic pillows and smoking area. Our room was on the second floor with a street view, and there is a smoking area with a tables and benches straight under the room. Till 2am there were people gathering, chatting and laughing, and smoking. Whole smoke went straight to the room leaving us with no chance for fresh air.

Key reason why I chose this hostel. The bed was probably the least comfortable of the A&O hostels that I had stayed in so far, and I had stayed in a few A&O in other cities of Germany. The bed was sloping down in the centre and no good support. Supermarket is just next door, so that's extremely handy.

Nice hostel but they charge 4 euros for bed linen. ”
Nice hostel but I wasn’t happy about paying an extra and unexpected charge of 4 euros for bed linen. This has never happened at any other a and o hostel. This put the price up to 16’euros for a hostel which is expensive and if I’d had known I’d had booked somewhere else.
