7 min walk from the main station (HBF) The receptionists were nice. Though I lost my key card, they gave me new one for free. The 6-bed dorm was spacious and clean. The only drawback was that, because the some of the windows couldn't be perfectly sealed, it made a humming sound when the wind blows. The sould would be loud if you sleep next to the window. I solved this problem by leaving the window open slightly. The price was the cold air pouring in.

Loved the fact that I got exactly what was in all the pictures. Everything is very clean. I was not aware I have to pay for linen and towels, even through I found them there on 2 beds after paying. Really loved the fact that I could use the language room even on my checkout day, I was even allowed to use coffee area while waiting for train in evening, very friendly staff.

It's good. But not best a&o out there”
On my entry, the reception guy started the conversation with "what do you want". After I asked him "what do I want?? Is that how you talk to your guests?" He just continued to be rude and unhelpful. Maybe he had a bad day - but for me it ruined the beginning it this lovely city. And when another guest, someone I met there, commented a joke, he was kicked out of the hostel. Double standards ain't it?

Simple accommodation in good location”
This is a very basic ho(s)tel, it has laundry facilities and a kitchen. Don't expect much fancy, but if you look for a roof over your head to sleep at in a good location, this is a good choice.

the bare minimum”
as the title says, dont expect anything. this place provides the bare minimum, although for a very good price. however if you are unlucky, you will get some spanish students as neighbours who will party until 3am and shout on the corridor. there is absolutely no noise insulation at all. a&o was worth a try once but i would highly recommend a better place to stay if you want a good night's rest.

Very good location - you can walk from the Graz main train station for 5-10 min. There's a tram station in 1 min walk from the hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Nice breakfast - for only 6 euro. Simple all-you-can-eat breakfast, good for the start of a day. Down side: Staff is not very efficient - It took some time to check in, and will take even more time if you want to ask for a direction. The staff seems not eager to help and quite inefficient. It took me ages to pay for a breakfast in the morning. No laundry available.

The stay was great but access was a little difficult because of construction works. Took a bit of looking around at 12 am! I got into Graz from Vienna by train.

Perfect place for one or two nights, including the breakfast buffet definitely a super deal! It is exactly what one expects from a budget hotel. New, clean, friendly hostel with nice staff! We will definitely come back in the future!
