Good Value for Money”
The food is great - breakfast caters for all. It's a huge bufet and good, fresh food. The evening bufet is good value for money if you are hungry. Heaps to eat for all - great variety. The hotel is also very close to Bangkok Hospital and the hotel runs a very efficient shuttle there and back. The valet parkiing at the hospital will call the hotel to pick you up once you are finished your appointments. If you want to avoid the bus loads of Chinese tourists that stay here, book into the A-One Boutique hotel which is right next door. The best part of the A-One Hotel has to be the staff. Starting at the front door you have the Bell-Hops/Concierge : Tommy, Tong and Leo are the most friendly and helpful people in Bangkok. Always ready to serve and help with a friendly smile. When you get to reception, Bum is very helpful (made some phone calls for us) and her english is very good. What a friendly and helpful person and an absolute asset to the hotel. When it ccomes to dining, Anne is most attentive with good english, a beautiful smile and always close on hand to serve you. Upin is the kind and curteous manager who is always on hand and makes sure the restaurant runs smoothly - which he does with class and finese. All in all, a great hotel with good value for money. We have been staying here for a few hears now - everytime we come to Bangkok Hospital for dental or other medical treatment - and would highly recommend the A-One Hotel.

Bring Earplugs ”
A-one does so many things right. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. The beds were soft and the showers hot. Best of all, they drove me to and from the hospital promptly and often. The problem was, I like to sleep when staying at a hotel. The first night I was awakened to loud voices and slamming doors at 3:30 am. I figured a tour bus got in late. I thought I was just unlucky in being assigned to a room in the middle of a group of friends who don't like to sleep. The hotel gave me a new room. The next room was far worse. Again my room was sandwiched in the middle of a very social group of tourists from China. From 2:30 am onwards they were never quiet. They slammed doors, they yelled down the halls at each other, they rearranged their furniture, ALL NIGHT. The hotel set-up didn't help. The walls were thin and the hall was like an echo chamber. It's a shame that a hotel that's doing so much right can't ensure a quieter space. A hotel that targets families of patients at the nearby hospital needs to provide a more peaceful environment.

Clean and nice hotel”
the hotel does looks like a boutique which is what it has been called. it looks new and has all the necessary in the room. however it is very far away from bangkok business. that's why it is suitable for those who want to stay away from city. also, not far from town.

Tour groups are disruptive”
We stayed here for 2 nights (Sun-Tues). In that time, 2 Chinese Tour groups arrived in the middle of the night on our floor. It was 3:30am and they were so loud as they called to each other that they woke our group up. I went out to ask them to be quiet, but there were so many of them (50-100) and very inconsiderate. Meal times were also full of tour groups - very loud. If you're looking for a good sleep - don't come here. The rooms themselves are satisfactory, beds are comfortable, however the amount of tour groups this hotel takes is very disruptive to those not in these groups. The hotel is very near to the Bangkok Hospital and provide a free shuttle every 30 min. It is more difficult to get a taxi, but the bellboy's will try to get one for you. There is a 7 Eleven very close by, but no restaurants to eat in (local or western) nearby. There is a McDonalds, some Asian, Lebanese food and Starbucks in the Bangkok Hospital Plaza beside the hospital, but other than that, you'll have to take a 30 min. taxi ride elsewhere. The pool is nice!

Great room-poor location”
AC was cold and bed was very comfortable. However, hotel was not tourist friendly -staff spoke minimal English, absolutely no information provided about the neighborhood or transportation. -location- 25 minute walk to nearest transit station and the first 6 minutes has no sidewalks and LOTS of traffic near Bangkok hospital making really difficult and dangerous to go anywhere. I saw in a review afterwards that there is a shuttle to a train station but we were not notified of that upon check in. Stay away if you are trying to sightsee Bangkok

Caters to large tour groups”
The facilities in itself are fine - clean, beds comfortable, near the Bangkok Hospital. Free shuttles to the Bangkok Hospital or a 10 min walk away. The pool is nice as well. Washrooms clean. The restaurant downstairs is quite expensive and the 24hr cafe is a fairly loose term as it's just a few desserts in a case - not an actual cafe. Nearest restaurants (local or western) require a taxi. There is a 7 Eleven behind the property for snacks, etc. We were able to get some sticky rice and chicken there. We found the hotel caters more to the large tour groups than individuals staying at the property.

We stayed there for 2 nights to visit Bangkok Hospital its very closed to the hospital and convenient. The room is nice and modern except the carpet need to be changed. The only we found is too many chinese group tours and tourists from china and it is too noisy and busy in the morning. The hotel is not near any train stations or main shops.

Hard work as mother was bangkok hospital ”
Could have been better for a 4 star hotel and considering there is no internet in the rooms and drinks and food very expensive for wat in was. My biggest problem was no internet in room and I think they should state this in the booking (not just say free wi fi) But I must say the staff very very good

The Hotel has new facade but only few rooms are newly renovated. When I stayed here, my room was at the back side of the hotel and it was the room so I have no idea how the new rooms look like.
