    Great stay”

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, aircon, fan, and the free cold and hot water a great plus. The guest house is a couple blocks away from the hustle and bustle but not a far walk at all. There is a great restaurant at the corner, yummy phad Thai!

    A Good Stay”

A Tee was a lovely place to stay if you don't mind the walk to night markets. It's close to some great restaurants. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and there were no bugs in the room. Air con was very noisy so we just put the fan on at night. There's a small balcony at the Guesthouse that we enjoyed sitting on and relaxing. Free water was a bonus! The staff don't speak much English but are helpful and polite. The laundry service was good but don't put any white items in if you have clothes that may colour them (we learnt the hard way). Whilst you're in town; I recommend a trip to Saffron Coffee that supports Lao hill tribes. All in all we had a very good stay and would return.

    $20 worth per night”

Not close to centre but down quiet lane 10 minutes walk. Still within easy walk of local restaurants. A tee has space around the property giving it a relaxed feeling. There are times when the local culture can be heard, such as night time chanting by the monks, week end karoke, and howling dogs. Fortunately these are far enough away not to be considered a nuisance. The owners are business like but fair. The level of their english is poor. Level of laundry service is higher than other guest houses i have stayed in. If you want somewhere clean and quiet its worth paying $20 a night

Not on the main road, and just a little further in, but not necessarily a bad thing. Rooms were comfortable and the owner speaks Chinese as well as a small amount of English. He helped me book a bus to Nong Khiaw after my stay.

    Friendly, comfortable, feels at ease

The stay was a very pleasant one. Although they spoke limited English, the couple and the son are always ready to assist you. Overall, they've done a great job maintaining the place, it's clean, quite and peaceful.

Great value for money / Authentic location”

~5km from the centre. Motorbike rental at site. Lovely family, great breakfast, powerful A/C, mosquito net on the windows. Bathroom is not the strength of the homestay, but promised to be improved soon, and a fresh paint on the walls would be welcome, but not inconvenient. Definitely would stay again! Recommended!

We really wanted to like the place”

Pro: The hotel was clean, it sits down an alley so there was no traffic noise and for the most part the staff was pleasant but spoke little English. Con: Often the hot water was turned off, so early departure meant a cold shower. The television did not work - we were told that the cable was out though the lobby TV was on cable. You always had to track down someone so you could get your room key. The "breakfast" consisted of coffee or tea period. The internet was down much too often. Admittedly we didn't travel thousands of miles to watch TV but late evening news would have been nice. We will return to Luang Prabang but won't stay there again. There's better value for your money all over the town.

    A nice place to stay”

The guesthouse isn't something special but for that amount of money it's quite a good place to stay. You can get free bananas, tea, coffee and water. It's not in the city center but you only walk 10 minutes to the market

    Good ”

Location : 100meter walking from main road. Not really near to night markert. About 20 mins walking to the night markert. A bit far (for walking) from the main attraction and city centre. Bicycle is the best way to move around the city. Food : Got one Indian halal restaurant - Nisha Restaurant about 400m from this hotel. But many non halal restaurant in 100meters distance. Shopping : 20mins to night markert. 15 mins to Dara Markert. Cleanliness : Room very clean and they clean it everyday. Facilities : Only soap provided. Shower good. Toilet and aircond ok. Internet also ok. Wifi provided in room. Mineral water provided every day for each room. Got hot water and cold water to refill at the receptions. No bicycle provided for rent although there was a sign for bicycle rental for 10,000 kip perday. Have to rent from other hotel for 30,000 kip perday. Staff : helpfull and polite but not really good in English. Value for money : Worth it for the price paid.

I have stayed 4 nights there. I was enjoyed staying there. The owner and staffs helped me a lot, such as gave me some travel advices, help me to bargain the transportation fare. Also, they provided free wifi, coffee, water and banana. I would recommend this guesthouse to whom want to stay at a good guesthouse at affordable prices.

Best budget place of Luang Prabang”

We had a perfect stay at A Tee guesthouse. It is a little bit away from the main tourist drag which we really liked. Quiet, clean and friendly. Only thing: the wifi is really poor. Apart from that, highly recommended.

    Quiet and comfortable guesthouse”

We only stayed one night at this guesthouse, but it was very pleasant. The host was very friendly and let us in our room very early (I think it was before 8 in the morning), he also booked us a van to take us to Vang Vieng for a very competitive price. The room was comfortable, unfortunately no refrigerator, but that's not a big deal. Make sure to check out the Red Cross massage place which is on the same street. You can get an excellent massage here for a good price. All the people who work there are volunteers and they need the money (and your blood if you're willing to donate).

    A Real Find”

    All

A real find! A lovely guesthouse in a rural setting – a courtyard with flowers, birdsong, cocks (not nearby), and crickets – and yet just 10 minutes walk from the center (night market, etc.). Carefully arranged and looked after with tea and coffee if you wish to make yourself a cup, a particularly pleasant room and bathroom, and in the room a desk, a fresh clean bed and, thank goodness, no TV cluttering the space. To me it’s ideal and with its reasonable price, there is nothing more I could ask for.

Perfect place to stay in Luang Prabang!”

    Location, rooms, staff

Our stay was perfect. The location is great - close enough to the centre and the markets etc but far enough away that it's quiet in the day / morning (apart from the barking dogs occasionally!). The staff are also really lovely, giving us fresh bottled water every day and extending our stay for us when we asked with no problems. The rooms were great, with hot showers and aircon too. Will definitely return if ever I'm back in Luang Prabang!

    Peaceful, hidden gem!”

    Location, cleanliness, comfort

I loved this little guesthouse! Its location on the quieter side of Luang Prabang was nice respite from the more crowded, touristy parts. The room was spacious and clean, and felt very comfortable. I wanted to extend our stay but it was booked!

    Comfortable”

Working wifi, free coffee/tea/water, cheap bicycle rental

Generally, I thought the location was ok, until I kept walking to and fro from the city center. This could take up around 10 to 15 minutes walk each direction. So, I was not really excited about it eventually. I could see other guesthouses nearer to the market, offering lower prices, but then again, I was not sure of the hospitality. In A Tee, the hospitality was good. I kept waking up early for Tak Bat (morning alms). Quite inconvenient as the bungalow would be totally locked up, but the owner was nice enough to wake up to open the door/gate for me to go out. Renting bicycle here was cheaper than several other places I had seen. The same applied to going to Kuang Si waterfall by shared van. The path to A Tee had dogs. They did not bite, but at times, they sure barked enough to make me feel uneasy. Those who were taking care of the guesthouse was friendly.
