Be clear”
This place is in a quiet alley not too far from the tourist area. Walking distance to the train station and the Thai and Indian embassies. Just make sure you get your price quoted and verified by more than one person. We booked the cheapest room through Agoda, it was clean to the eye but musty. We agreed to pay three USD more a night for a larger room with a better smell and a balcony. The room was nice and the staff was friendly (although they spoke almost no English, they were able to put us in touch with an English speaker when we misplaced their key), but the person who checked us out insisted that we owed two dollars more a night than we were led to believe. It's not uncommon, I know, but frustrating nevertheless. I'd just get the rate in writing- the rates are posted in Vietnamese, so it really shouldn't be too hard. One last thing, they do have an hourly rate. The place wasn't seedy or insecure feeling, but be forewarned if that type of clientele makes you uncomfortable. If it weren't for the unreasonable rate hike, I would stay here again.

A good short stay hotel”
Location price
This chain of hotels are short stay hotels. They offer good comfort and facilities if you just want a room to sleep. It was in a location near where the people i wanted to see and the things I wanted to do were. I would use these hotels again.

A25 Hotel - Lien Tri”
Do NOT stay at this hotel unless you're interested in renting a room for an hour. The staff do not speak any English. The rooms have no windows. It's cold. And it's noisy all night long. My room was on the 4th floor (a walk up and no one understood my request to help me bring my suitcase down when I left) and whenever the phone rang IN THE LOBBY -- I could hear it! It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Don't ever go here. It's horrific!
