Although a simple bread fast. felt that this hotel take notice on the needs of travelers. can get almost anything urgently needed in the room. i.e., rubber ban, iron, iron board, scissor that usually cannot get in the hotel room. Shock that my room have total 25 power points. very convenience for travelers.

Would reccomend with provisos”
This hotel met my needs for one night's accommodation in this preferred section of District 1. But it is not for everyone,,,feeling very old & quirky without style or sophistication. Nevertheless the high-ceiling no window room was well equipped with a pleasant breakfast room & menu options. The fact that hotel regulations include provision for a 2-hour US $10 rate is possibly a further indication. Location & price make it worth considering.

Good location, good reception work. Not attentive attitude at Breakfast. You order one that they want, ask for your order, completely ignore your request.

The hotel charged me a 10% penalty for checking out 35 minutes late”
I must have stayed at this location when it was the old Dong Du hotel at least 40 times in previous years. I loved the staff then and they always seemed to remember me, year after year. I was very disappointed with my experience there now that they have been taken over by A25. The only major improvement was that the new hotel owners stationed a security guard at the front door all night. I stayed at the A25 several times during the 4th quarter of 2018. On my last night in Saigon I came in especially late. I had a 3pm flight the next day and asked if I could keep my bags at reception after I checked out. They said not to worry and that I could check out an hour or two late, “no problem”. This pleased me greatly and I decided to get some rest and pack in the morning. Boy was in for a big surprise! A25 MAC is unusual in that the checkout time is 11 am. Most other hotels in that area have a 12 noon checkout. I woke up at 10:30 and began to organize my packing. At about 10:55, the front desk called me and asked if I was ready to checkout. I told her about my discussion with the night staff, and she said that I would be charged a 10% penalty for every hour I stayed past 11 am! I took the fastest shower of my life, threw all my belongings in my bags, and rushed down stairs at 11:35 am. The hotel then charged me a 10% penalty for being 35 minutes late. Please don’t let the same thing happen to you. I’ve stayed at numerous other hotels within a five block radius of the A25 during the past few months, and all but one are superior. In fact, my new go to hotel is directly across the street from the A25, has nicer rooms, a friendlier staff, and is even less expensive. I suggest going elsewhere.

Spacious room, great staff, and perfect location”
The staff helped us out tremendously with a couple extra hour stay due to some needed appointments, even though the room was already booked. They took a chance in allowing us to leave our belongings in the safety of our room while we attended to our business. Hotels in Vietnam have a tendency to be noisey, but this one is not at all. We had a balcony room facing the main road, but was able to rest and relax in peace. I had been sick with a cold for several weeks so peace and quiet was on the menu and this hotel provided just what was needed. Even bringing our breakfast to our room with no delay. They were wonderful. The bed was a little hard, but good for just a couple of days. The rooms we had were very spacious and open which left a lot of room to kick back and relax and finish some work within the room. I am very pleased with this A25 Hotel. Thank you for having us, AGAIN!! You will not find another hotel in Saigon with a price like this, with rooms as spacious, quiet and comfortable as these. I promise. :)

I expected low quality as price is very competitive. But rather, I guarantee this will br your best choice whatever your purpose is, sorry except for honeymoon :) Equipped most of home appliances which 5star hotel has. Location is most center of Ho chi Minh. won't regret.

Friendly service, good location, value for money”
My friend and I reached the hotel at about 9+am in the morning and we were initially not allowed to check in yet. We were told to wait at the lobby but barely 5 mins passed, the concierge relented and allowed us to check in early. I was impressed at such hospitality. They even extended my check out time by an extra hour. I felt that this was a nice gesture. The staff were very friendly. They never failed to greet me every morning and whenever I return to the hotel later in the day. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels replaced and the room safe works, unlike other hotels I've been to. They even provided good quality slippers for guests to use. On top of that, the hotel prepared a print out of the attractions in HCM and placed it in a clear folder so the guests could refer to it as a guide. It was pretty useful for me as the folder had a lot of important information. Besides that, the room had a minibar, not exactly an unusual feature, but the price of the drinks were not exorbitant and actually,quite fairly priced. What was disappointing were probably the lift and perhaps the breakfast provided. The breakfast was delicious but it'd be better if the serving size was improved. The lift serves up to the 5th floor. My room was on the 6th floor so I had to climb an extra floor up. Additionally, my friend did not like the bed. He felt that the mattress was too hard but I felt that it was okay Be careful and wary of motorcycle taxi drivers who openly asks for tips or pressure you to ride their motorcycles. A firm No would do the trick but don't hesitate to raise your voice or push them away if they decide to be annoying and not let you go. My trip to HCM was really a fun experience and my 3 Night stay at Dong Do Hotel was a comfortable one. I'd suggest this hotel to friends who are on a trip together. The price for a night's stay was reasonable and the location of the hotel is pretty good.

very welcoming hotel with great service”
Dung Do is a nice little place tucked away on the corner right next a Korean restaurant. Like all the hotels in this area, the location is great for visitors. We stayed at a lot of different hotels when we were in vietnam and this had to be the one with the best front desk service. They fell over themselves helping us to be comfortable and get what we needed. It's clear that they're trying to compete with some of the bigger hotels in the neighborhood by offering really good prices and service. We also stayed at another hotel about a block away that was a little fancier and about 3 times more expensive, but to be honest I would stay at Dung Do again if I went back. The people were just so friendly and helpful. We got really hungry one night so we went down and asked if they would help us find a place to get food delivered from. They just asked us what we wanted and then found a place and ordered for us and when it arrived it was extremely good and reasonably priced. They frequently accompanied us out to the street to talk with taxi drivers and make sure they knew where we wanted to go when we had strange destinations planned. If you stay here make sure you say hi to Druc at the front desk. He also works at the hotel across the street and he's a great funny guy who loves to talk to travelers.

Good location but small”
dong do hotel is situated in the centre ho chi minh city.althogh the hotel only provide the basic needs of room and breakfast, the selling point is the location.infact we are the regular customer of dong do hotel. we have stayed in this hotel about 3 times a year for the past 3 years.recently they have added a tour service for daily tours in hcm city.we look fotward for our next visit in march 2011.

best hotel as of its standard”
I like this hotel very much because it is near to the mosque and muslim restaurant. Futhermore it is in the area of upmarket. The hotel is within the walking distance to all the placeses that we should visit when we are in Ho Chi Min City i.e: Ben Than Market, Post Office, Reunification Palace, and Dong Khoi street. We will go and stay at this hotel again if we are to go to Saigon next time. This hotel consider cheap compare to the hotel which is near to it. it is near to Bon Sen and Sheraton Hotel.

Dong Do Hotel”
Dong Do Hotel is centrally located in the shopping and entertaitment district of HCM city district 1.The hotel provides the basic needs of budget traveller and it is value for money.Staff are friendly and helpful except they do not speak english well.Although the morning brakfast is either French loaf or Vietnamese Po, I like the PO ball. It was better than the PO 24 oulets. I will still stay in Dong Do Hotel for my next trip here.

good value for that part of town”
I would stay at this hotel again next time we are in Ho Chi Min City. Not difficult to take bus 152 at airport but have to make sure you tell conductor where you are going. cost 3,000 D per person, plus 3,000 D per big luggage. (We paid taxi from hotel to airport for 80,000D incl tips, still cheap for less than 5 USD!)Loved the Vietnamese breakfast.

Dong Do HCMC”
Very nice staff, helpful and pleasant, especially the manager Miss Tram. Good food in the 6th floor restaurant. Nice rooms ranging from small, to superior, to the very nice 'King's Room' 104. Located centrally in District 1. I find it excellent value for business trips and would recommend to tourists as well.

Although the staff weren't the best at speaking English they did their best to be helpful. The hotel is in a good location in District 1. Only downside to the area was having men come up on scooters trying to hustle you into buying drugs or women. Some good value restaurants located close by.

Enjoyed it and well located and easy to get around District 1. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside allow 25 minutes for checking out as they seem to take ages processing (not sure what as paid through Agoda) check out paperwork. (Happened both times stayed here)

Dong Do Hotel in the heart of Saigon”
The hotel location is very good. It is not far from main attractions of Saigon. I could walk aroud to many places such as reunification palace, Ben Thanh Market, Opera House, etc. There are many shopping centers and restaurants around hotel. Hotel's breakfast starts from 7 am from the top floor which offers very good view. Considering about the rooms rate I think it is very reasonable price.
