A must visit resort in India”
I have gone through many negative views before reaching the destination and my expectations were not so high. But what I have got and seen after arrival is beyond imagination at this price. I booked Aussies Room and found room much higher than expected, the laser light show is awesome , indoor and outdoor activities like fishing , dog walk, horse riding , water sports are all available under one city spread across 10000 acres , the climate is awesome at any time. They have 4 different restaurants for Mughlai, Lebanese, jain/Gujarati food and one is multi cuisine. Food is good but quite expensive, Resort offers complementary intercity transport by Mercedes C Class which is again a good idea to impress guests . Overall if one is planning to find peace and luxury then it's the best option available .
just a perfect place....”
After a long wait I finally made my booking at amby valley for 2 days in the month of july.It was a rainy season.and the climate was awesome ...full of fog everywhere....I had booked a royal suite and it was just perfect except for the minor issues as this was a completely new category of rooms.....I believe we were the first ones to stay at royal suite as every thing was brand new.....Very big rooms.....big balcony with jacuzzi in it isthe best part of this room ......staff here is very polite and helpful.Food is bit expensive. There is a small super market at 5 minutes walk from royal suites room.Amby valley is a very big property spread in acers. .....so it is good if you have your own vehicle.....If you don't have your own vehicle the resort provides with free pick up and drop....within the amby valley for free....Loved the place....Location .... Hospitality......shall visit again......
Poor Service. Long waiting lines at the restaurants. Ridiculously priced F&B. Poorly maintained property. They can charge super premium rates to customers but they don't have money to maintain the property or pay salaries to their staff! Very sad!!
Great getaway for a weekend. The place is massive, so great to unwind. Din't get to try the water activities, except for the pool. The water show is worth a watch. The cottages open up to greenery all around, and the silence around makes Amby valley experience quite unique. Except for the fact that someone stole my umbrella there, the place is definitely worth a try! :D
stay is cheap but food is very expensive”
The stay is relatively cheap. But food and liquor is extremely expensive. The activities are cheap too. horse ride is 400, angling is 400, boat ride is 3k... Its a good place to spend 2-3 nights. Dont rely on Merc shuttles... They can take time. Overall, its not cheap but its a good weekend getaway...
Do not go to Aamby Valley - Not worth the money they charge! ”
Aamby Valley- while it is a great product and concept, the rooms are beautifully done and the environment is lovely - unfortunately they have become like a cheap airlines or worse as they FLEECE you for the smallest things which even 7 star properties don't. And yet the service somehow doesn't match up! Imagine walking into ur challet or villa that u paid Rs 25,000 and then struggling for the TV to work... A foul odour coming from the room, and burnt pizza being served in ur room after many follow ups each time. To make things worse, there are several restrictions within the property like u can't use ur own car to move in the 100 acre property and if u want to check it out u have to pay Rs 500 to 1000 per person to book a 45 minute trip around the property. The only saving grace was the free musical fountain show and the fact that u can walk around in the property without being charged for it.Breakfast spread WASN'T impressive either. These guys FLEECE you - not worth the money!
Aamby Valley City trip with Family ”
Awesome location, nice amenities, clean and well appointed room, Great view from the deck, and great service fron the staff. Experience's that stood out were pontoon boat ride, musical fountain (which was a spectacular experience ) and off road 4X4 ride. Cons is pricey - 40K+ in 2 days one stay for a party of 7. But great memories and fun time.
Rooms and facility ”
Rooms & location were Excellent ,facility was good for two days with activities & picturistic views . But restaurants & activities are too pricey but if u r okay to spend extra bucks worth a stay ( we stayed in chalet but Cabana is must try for couples)..
Service was fantastic!!! Breathtaking scenery... Amazing experience”
Staff was very courteous. They made special arrangements for the surprise birthday like towel flowers decoration in the room and a cake. Very prompt golf cart service. Remarkable team!! I just feel the prices of the food items in the restaurants could have been a little less. Rest it was a great experience.
It was a pleasant stay, peace and tranquality all over. Staff was very friendly. The light and sound show was amazing, one of its kind. The only area of improvement was the quality of beds. Mattresses were not comfortable. As a mattress expert I would suggest the management to improve the quality of mattresses atleast to a pocket spring mattress.
Excellent property amidst nature and awesome customer service”
Congratulations to the entire Team Aamby Valley for your generosity, hospitality and affection that the entire staff exhibit so effortlessly every time. We had a pleasurable and memorable experience staying within your beautiful crafted opulent premises amidst the natural environment. We were put up at the Spanish Cottage- 407 and the Aussie Chalet -289B (15th Aug - 19th Aug) respectively within our stay period. Every moment we had spent within the property was a remarkable event and life time experience for us. We are extremely happy with the service and would like to extend our Special Appreciation for those people who may not be placed at the front desk but they are the key part of an organisation- (The Stableman or hostler/ the golf cart drivers / housekeeping staff/ F&B Team/ Team 19 Degree North / Mr. Balu Bhandare- an exceptionally good water safari tour guide) Apologies if I have missed on many other departments. It is only because of their good behaviour, generosity and communication skill that a vacation becomes all the more worthwhile, memorable and revisiting. Warm Regards, Ms. Pali Sen Mr. Dhritiman Sen
Excellent property ”
Excellent property well maintained curtious staff, food was expensive any dish not less than Rs.900/- so the meal for two not less than Rs.3000/- Food prices are as expensive as 7 star hotel. Water rides are all expensive. If u wants to relax and enjoy nature then it worth.
Leisure trip to Aamby Valley”
Visited Aamby valley City in 1st week of July,2016. It is well maintained and beautiful property. We stayed in Aussie rooms and they are very spacious. The breakfast served is very good . The restaurants are quite a few but all of them are not open on weekdays. Similarly the musical fountain show on the lake is held at 7.30 p.m. on weekends only but we were lucky to see it on weekdays. The golf cart service to move around from one place to another is excellent and very prompt. The staff are very courteous. Overall a very refreshing and soothing stay
We had a great experience, starting from location, hospitality, staff friendliness, food, adventure activities, water sports etc. Some off the adventure activities were not sensible which was the only disappointment.
Would have really appreciated it if the stay had included meals too as the place is at a very isolated place. Second suggestion would b to reduce the astronmical price of food.. Third would be should have food festival and some activites festival to make the stay more exciting..
Only for super rich!!!!”
The city is planned well and executed reasonably well. The accommodation (town plaza cottage) is good sized and well equipped. Though certainly not 5 star in feel, but good enough. Staff is helpful and prompt. Biggest issue - PRICE! At ~ Rs 13000/- a night the cottages (for 2) are priced steep. The food (many options available) but all very costly (~Rs 2500 - 3000 for two for a meal). All activities are also priced steep (for example Rs 850 pp for a 30 min Jungle safari in a shared vehicle). With such pricing the only intention could be to invite only the super rich!!!
Heaven in earth ”
I want to tell everyone who enjoyed your trip went to Aamby Velly. Everything is perfect in this city. Velly atmosphere, location, cleanness, garden ,fountain, dam, sports game, adventure tour, everything is here. If anyone go there nothing happen to disappoint you. My overall experience is very good. My family enjoy every moment
I wandered lonely as a cloud....”
My stay at Aambey Valley resonates the famous poem of William Wordsworth - " I wandered lonely as a cloud ". Like the poet, I am filled with happiness and joy at the end of this wonderful experience. As the adage goes, "It is the little moments in life that makes it big". The little moments I mention of had a silver lining to it because I get to experience it with my lovely wife, who like me has fallen in love with this place. I strongly recommend this place to people looking for moments of epiphany. Special mention to the entire team for their hospitality. Small requests were taken care off with utmost diligence. As an advise for Aambay Valley Team, I guess the staff strength is on the lower side to handle surge of crowd. Also, in time to come you will have to maintain a delicate balance to ensure that the place is not commercialised to an extent that it looses it charm. Special Mention to Team Agoda for the fabulous deal and the ease of reservation process. Looking forward to making new bookings with your portal. Parting words-- "...And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils".
aamby down the valley”
Not 5 star category for sure. Very ordinary sometime even pathetic service at time staff is very demotivated and an obvious aura of winding up the activities very visible Room tariff are the most expensive which u shall book if u can afford Food is very expensive which is still ok but noy worth in terms of quality variety and taste Over all not goin there or recommending any one to go there again
Amzaing Place....Everything was Just Perfect!!”
As we entered Mr.Jiten at the reception gave us a warm welcome & was very courteous & helpful. The place is so scenic and picture perfect...detailing done at every point...the landscape, the roads, the golf course, the lighting at night... We ate dinner at The Legend and Chef Ganesh Bisht has magic in his hands...the food was very very good totally worth it,never eaten such amazing stuff plus the music was a super add on to our feast... At Awadh our breakfast room the staff was very warm & cooperative --> Mr.Rahul & Mr.Praveen to make a mention...and the yummy indian and western choice of breakfast was simply awesome.. Thank You soo sooo much to the Aamy Team to make this short weekend trip so memorable... :-) Keep up the good work...
