Tranquility at its best, superb hospitality by Henk, Breakfast was superb and bed very cosy. Lots of eateries close by as well as a good situated spar supermarket for all our necessities. Ideal location for our main visit too Apenheul to visit the primates, 15 minutes by car. Tranquil Hospitality at its best..Highly Recommended
Only thing I can think of is lack of USB charging for phones and devices.. But this was our own fault as we forgot to bring Euro Travel adapter.. Not an issue as we charged devices via car.

I absolutely love the place. It&#39;s beautifully located, nicely decorated, very clean and provides excellent comfort and quality. Delicious breakfast served each morning right to my door was a fantastic experience. The nature around here is wonderful. But even the garden where the house is located is quiet and beautiful. Home to many birds. Absolutely lovely place. I can&#39;t wait to experience spring here!

Aan de Bosrand is a magical place in a very special part of the Dutch art and natural landscape.”

We liked everything about this delightful place - from the friendly host and his lovely dog (who he made sure we met and ever after considered us a friend) to the location and upkeep of the property. Every detail, large and small, was attended to, so it felt like we were in a place that had been meticulously thought through from the guest&#39;s point of view. We loved the privacy and the quiet, and the many sorts of birds living there in the trees and bushes. When the local supermarket was unexpectedly closed, we were grateful for the beer and wine stocked by the owner (for an additional price). The breakfast, brought to us by the host in a large basket, was superb. Ample, delicious, so much fun to discover what lay underneath that nice tea towel spread over the top. We are in our late &#39;60&#39;s, but we felt like delighted kids. That goes for our whole stay there.
All the fixtures in the place were handsome and well-made. However, the bathroom sink had a leak from the faucet that caused water to pool on the sink shelf. A tiny matter, only remarkable because everything else was ship-shape.

Superb”

We had a most friendly welcome, and the owner had gone to the trouble of providing a powerful fan. The room was well equipped already, with a pleasant shady place to look forward to shade for breakfast, which Henk said he would bring to us. After his suggestion for a pleasant dinner nearby, we slept with no problem from the heat thanks to the fan.
There was nothing to dislike - it would not be fair to blame Henk for weather at 38 C!
