Have requested for non smoking room and given a room at 10th floor, which stated as a non smoking room. Yet still inhale the smell of smoke. Has called the staff and asked to change room, but only after my daughter called by 10.30 pm and reminded the staff that it will affected my health problem, me and my spouse were moved into a new room.

Tired and Dirty hotel”
I stay at least 120 nights per year in hotels throughout the Asian region and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in for many years. The staff were ok. But my room was old, dirty and smelled of musty stale smoke. I had requested a smoke free room not near the lift. They put me in the room next to the lift stinking of drake smoke. The carpet and curtin ms need replacing. The hotel is 13 years old but looks about 30 years old. It is very tired and all the towels and bed clothes are old and very off white. The bathroom is disgusting with dirt in the lights and the bath and tiles had black dirty stains. I never complain about hotels and generally just accept what I’m given because I stay so often in hotels throughout the year. I didn’t complain to reception because my colleague had a room also the same. Avoid this hotel!! And way overpriced for what u get. The hotel photos on Agoda website are very misleading.

Really great hospitality”
I came to Jambi to visit my one-year-old nephew, it was so tiring but in the end of the day I can totally rest peacefully in Abadi Suite. The breakfast was also really good. Even though the building was old, the maintenance was really well. All the staff was friendly and polite.

This is my few time that I stayed at this hotel. I would say that Abadi Suite Hotel is the best in Jambi. Although the price is quite expensive. But there are only two four star hotels in Jambi, and this hotel is the best hotel in Jambi that you can get. The room and staff services is good and they also provide full facilities.

This is my 3rd time I've visited Jambi. I always stay at Abadi Hotel. It has spacious room with nice bed, TV and nice bathroom. The hotel also serve and have full of facilities. The breakfast is good. The pool is large and close to the only waterpark in Jambi. it also have bar and cafe to hang out at night. I think this is the best and the only 4star hotel in Jambi.

The hotel is located in the center of Jambi and offers a nice overview on the city (from the tower). There are a lot of shops nearby (in walking distance). The rooms are spacious and look friendly, the available lamps are a bit limited, so the room does not really get bright in the night. Bed is very comfortable and aircon is easy to adjust. The room service was quick to deliver a meal, all the ordered food looked nice (nicely presented on the plates), however the taste of the food was only so so... WIFI worked well and quickly in my room and in the lobby and was free. Friendly staff at check-out - offered a free shuttle to the airport.

When visited Jambi, I always stay at this hotel. Although the price is quite expensive for a four star hotel, but this is the best hotel in Jambi. They offer good and spacey room with good breakfast also. The service is nice and full of smile, the facility is full and the hotel is clean. And the the hotel location is at city center of Jambi

it a rare to find a good quality hotel in jambi! the entire stay was excellent. the room was great, clean and comfortable. the bathroom was also great. the service was very good with warm and welcoming staff. the check-in and check-out were smooth. i like the nice welcoming smell of the lobby.

Meets expectations, doesn't exceed them”
As other reviewers say, this hotel is rather over-priced for what it offers. The rooms are large and relatively comfortable, though they are also very dark with inadequate lighting, which is particularly problematic if you need to work. The air conditioning is far too fierce, even when turned up the ambient temperate - I had to turn it off and open the window to avoid being too cold. The free wifi is adequate but not particularly fast. The location is relatively good, offering quick access around town, but there aren't many facilities (restaurants, malls, etc) in the immediate surroundings that one can walk to. The immediate environs aren't particularly nice - a polluted bit of marshland by the river. The hotel itself has a few food outlets. The Chinese restaurant is billed as the best in town and was certainly bustling when I ate there, though I found the food quite mediocre. The same goes for the 24hr cafe-bar, which has a very restricted and over-priced menu. Breakfast is served in the cafe-bar. Western guests may struggle to find something they can stomach at an early hour; my tip is to order an omlette. The staff were friendly and helpful but not all spoke English. Overall it pretty much met reasonable expectations for a hotel in a provinicial Indonesian city, but certainly didn't exceed them.

The hotel is very expensive, we booked the deluxe room, but the wall is cracked and ugly. Towel look so old and cheap. We checked the cheaper room which the price so much cheaper but looks better and almost same size, I dont understand why the price have a big different, If I knew, I will just take a cheaper room ( superior). I was bit hungry after my flight got cancelled because of the smoke there, was spending time all day un the airport so I decided to book a nice room at famous hotel in Jambi but turn out disappointed. So I call the room service because I didnt see the menu in the room, the staff at the restaurant answer me this, "Because its Garuda room so we dont have regular menu" He kept telling me that 3 times. I've told him that am not Garuda crew, he sounds shocked. So, are they giving me a room for Garuda crew without a room service menu because of the room is cheaper? Finally I went downstair to a restaurant and just order a snacks because I feel angry already. The check in also so slow, they said they couldnt find my confirmation booking from Agoda, I have already gave them the booking number but we have to wait like 20-30minutes when its already almost 12 at night. Bath up sooooo dirty and so many more that am not happy staying here... :(
