had a nice 3 day 2 night get away with my daughter”
it was a pleasant stay and was happy with my room, disappointed about not having a balcony, when I opened the window it was surrounded by roofing blocking all views to anything so I left the windows shut. This was my third stay I had been here through work on my last occasion and had a great balcony. So I might book directly to the hotel next time and ask for a balcony as the agoda site does not guarantee all rooms have them. Other than that the room was so clean which is important to me. The bed was very comfortable and had good heating as it was pretty cold. The shower toilet and spa was well appointed and we have no complaints, toilet rolls, towels etc were well stocked. Our room was made up nicely when returning for the day. We ate out on all occasions so sorry can't comment on the food. The location is great close to Dunsborough, Margaret River and Busselton township. I would stay again and recommend Abbey Beach Resort as it is clean and the staff friendly and welcoming.
Spacious apartment layout in a serene surrounding!”
Travelling with a 6 months old baby, my wife and mum, I wanted a place that could cater for enjoyment of all. In the vicinity of Busselton, the Abbey Beach Resort met my requirements. The two-rooms apartment I stayed was just a stone throw away from the pool and beach while my mum was pleased with the kitchen that was well stocked with what we needed for a 'home-cooked' dinner away from home. Car parking was ample in the resort and meals in the restaurant was good! The only downside is that, for travellers who want to spend most of their time around the Margaret River region, it is approximately a 40 mins drive away. The resort and apartment looks a bit aged, but hey, you'd be out driving around most of the time, visiting places around the region!
Beautiful resort and excellent facilities”
We're pleasantly surprised by the environment of the resort hotel. It's a real resort with beautiful garden, several indoor and outdoor pools, gym, tennis court etc. The room is nice and spacious and we also had a balcony. It's also next to the beach. It's about 7km to the CBD of Busselton but we don't mind at all since it's quiet and relax here and also closer to Margaret River wine region.
A good relaxing stay in a great place”
A very relaxing stay. Wish we had allocated more time to spend in the area. The Abbey Beach Resort is a very well maintained and managed establishment. It has good facilities including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It is well located between Busselton and Donsborough which offer a wide range of dining opportunities if you wish to eat out. The food in the Resort restaurants is of good quality with good menu selections available.
Top Quality Room”
having been a regular visitor to this region over 40+ years from camping holidays to 5 star stays, i was impressed with the facilities and service at abbey beach. the room we stayed in was beautifully maintained and clean. you can literally drive in and not use your car again for the duration of the stay. to be able to walk along the beach path to have drink at broadwater or pick supplies at nearby shopping mall is a winner. beautiful outside pool (that closes in winter)and heated indoor pool. the only downside and minor at that was there was only one bath towel per person in our suite.
The Abbey Beach resort is in a great location with excellent facilities. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist (even when asked for a late checkout). While the balconies are quite small they still provide the basics and is definitely good value for money. I would be happy to recommend the hotel to anyone. I would have liked to have seen the 2 bedroom apartments. The risotto was absolutely delicious (we had it 2 nights in a row). Well done Chef.
Cosy and easy to locate”
We had a pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. Even our request for early check-in was readily acceded to. The room was cleaned and spacious, with comfortable bed. Location was central and within driving distance of major attractions such as The Lighthouse, Busselton Jetty and Margaret River Wineries.
Great beachside retreat”
I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband, his parents and my two year old son. We had a lovely stay at the hotel and found that it offered everything we needed. We loved having the washing machine and dryer to catch up on holiday washing! The location just off the beach was great and we enjoyed running the path along the beach. The resorts three pools were great especially with our son and there was plenty on offer to keep you occupied. The rooms are a little dated but they were clean and well maintained. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. It was only a 45 minute drive to Margaret River so we thought it was good location for the purpose of our trip.
Very happy with my stay at Abbey Beach Resort.Receptionist when arrived was efficient and quick handling check in.Room was lovely and clean we had a balcony over looking pool which was lovely having a few wines on.Used the outdoor pool and indoor pool, spa and sauna which was very nice and clean.Great bbq area and playground on grounds which is great for a family like us.Close to the beach was a huge bonus too.Cant wait to go back.
Luxurious hotel with great service”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Abbey Beach Resort. Everything was top quality about it. The location was a little further from the heart of town than I thought (but I also didn't look into that before I booked) but it was also right on the beach. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
FANTASTIC, WITH STATE OF THE ART SPAs. I ALSO ENJOYED THE PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH , THE ONLY THING THAT I NOTED WHICH WOULD WANT ATTENTION IS POOR INTERNET SIGNALS IN THE FACILITY. IF MCDONALD'S CAN PROVIDE FREE WIFI IN THEIR SHOPS TO ATTRACT STUDENTS AND OTHER CUSTOMERS, HOW ABOUT ABBEY BEACH RESORT?
Abbey Beach Resort Busselton”
Found Abbey Beach Resort entrance beautiful, staff courteous, friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable, and more updated than shown in the website. Quiet for most of the time. Appears to be well maintained. Visited coffee shop where coffee was of high standard and enjoyed scone and cream. Would certainly choose to stay here again.
Fun, comfortable and enjoyable”
We didnt know that it would be that difficult to get a beach hotel in Summer and we almost landed up without any accommodation. Eventually, we managed to get a room at Abbey Beach Resort for only a night, and it was a little pricey, or so we thought. However, when we reached the resort, we finally understood why. The place was so pretty and had so many activities for families, that they could practically book the place for an entire summer! We loved the place, but it was such a pity that we only managed to get it for a night!
Great hotel, lovely clean rooms.”
We had a great, although short, stay at Abbey Beach. It was nice to actually not be treated like a leper even though I am a smoker. When I gingerly asked about being able to smoke near the cafe, the lady was very upbeat and explained that there was a smoking area just nearby. Some seats would have been nice, but it was a welcome change from some resorts which make you stand out on the road to enjoy a cigarette! The room was clean and a good size, with enough essential supplies for a coffee first thing in the morning. We will definitely be booking a holiday at Abbey Beach again. We would love to go back and take some of our family with us.
We took our international visitors from Canada to Abbey Beach resort - both they and us were impressed immensely with the staff, service, facilities & rooms. Will definitely stay again
We had a really nice stay at Abbey Beach, the resort is beautiful. The room was big and the spa bath was great. We didnt eat there but the bar staff were really friendly and went to extra effort to make what we asked for.
Relaxing peaceful easy”
We stayed at Abbey Beach Resort to see if it would be suitable for my son's wedding as there would be 80% of the guests coming from interstate & some with small children. Should he & his financee decide to get married in the Bussleton, then it will DEFINITELY be at Abbey Beach Resort!
Abbey Beach Getaway”
When we arrived we were made very welcome and received an upgrade to an ocean front second floor appatrment that had a large living area, an extra bedroom, two bathrooms and a large balcony. We received the upgrade because my partner Susan had drawn their attention to the fact that our booking had not registered on their computer at the time we rang to confirm it. This alerted the staff to an error that showed a further number of bookings had not registered with them. The resort is located at an ideal location on a beautiful beach. It has good facilities, gym, indoor heated swimming pool and two other swimming pools located in a protected position between the resort buildings. There are plenty of car parking bays with good access to the units. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, dress smartly and should be commended for their attitude and appearance. We dined at the cafe and foud the food excellent value. This resort is good value especially if booked through Agoda, as your prices are better than their specials.
Where else would you want to be if you were going to the south west of Western Australia. Abbey Beach has everything you want right there and just down the road you have the wineries dozens of them to choose from and other fantastic attractions and when you have done just go back and relax in your spa.
We had a great stay in Abbey beach resort- the service was pleasant, the resort was clean, nice, and it was so close to the beach - it was great to be able to wake up and walk to the beach from the resort. Heated pools were very good because it was cold and raining when we went so we could use the pool and spa indoors. The room was clean and presentable
