We booked this hotel as we were going to an event in Hyde Park so the location was perfect. The room in the hotel ( a twin room) was clean and adequate however it was small and nothing like the pictures on the internet site. We booked room only as breakfast was only a continental breakfast at £ 9.50 each. There were cafes no more than 50 yards around the corner of the hotel charging £ 7.00 for a full English breakfast

Fire alarms constantly went off during night. Wrote a letter of compliant to manager and did NOT even receive acknowledgement of letter. TERRIBLE!

Breakfast was very basic for £7 I went down the stairs then they told me I had to pay first!!

hotel is located very close to an underground station which is excellent there is NO AC - and when its hot it's awful the staff was great - very attentive and helpful For the pirce we paid it was excellent

This hotel is in a great neighborhood just a block away from Paddington Station which makes getting around the city quick and easy. Don’t book if you are looking for a romantic or intimate getaway. Walls are paper thin and the doors have about a 1/2 gap at the bottom. Everything you get comes as basic as it can get. The hotel could use a vacuuming but it did the trick for my wife and I while we were in London a few days. So, if you’re looking for a place just to sleep at night and nothing more then this is the best hotel for the price in the area.

Aim for the strategic location”

Purely location and nothing more. The room is small, good for 1 person s the one i stayed. Ironing clothes will be a disaster as you need to go down to basement and travelled through a maze type floor plan to get to the iron station. Dropping luggage to reception is less secure as you have to do it yourself. They will just hand over the luggage dropping room key and you do it yourself. It's purely down to trust and not so good feeling about this. Also, the room lock is the old school key type instead of modern touch card or latest locking system. It's a strange and insecure feeling every time went back hotel and they simply hand over the key to you without really refer to your identity. It seems like everyone can just name a room and grab a key to lock in. Last, room doesn't equip with safety box. It mades me quite mad carrying the important things out overtime.

Reasonable hotel close to Paddington Station”

Reasonable hotel in excellent location, close to Paddington Station (Underground and Heathrow Express terminal). "reasonable", as I cant believe any hotel in the 21st century doesn't have air-conditioning. On my holiday to UK, I did find this several times, to my amazement. Ok, some, if not all these dwellings are most likely heritage listed or "protected". During the day [summer], it was actually cooler outside [fresh breeze] than inside. A desk-top fan is available upon request though. But despite this, the hotel was quite comfortable, and in a very nice area, with many restaurants and cafes (good fish-n-chip shop in London Street) and shops. Hotel is very close to the Big Bus [Hop On Hop Off] Blue Line Stop, which was very convenient. Just check A/C policy [depending on season], before booking any London hotel (note this hotel does have heating). Despite my views on A/C, I did see many happy guests interacting with the friendly, personable Staff; so overall a good stay in London.

La habitación, pequeña pero correcta, bonita, pero el baño no nos gustó nada, anticuado, incómodo, ducha pequeña, sin ducha de teléfono y el lavabo enano y sin repisa ni para poner el neceser.! Lo único bueno era la ubicación y que por fuera el hotel es bonito.

Jeg synes igen i skulle have morgenmad med i værelsesprisen og tilbyde continentel brekfest. Det er en del af et Londonbesøg. Ligeledes burde vedligeholdelsen af sanitære installationer forbedres
