Excellent value hotel in former abbey”
This is a former cloister, and still hosts religious conferences etcetera. As a religious minister I attended a conference at the hotel and that was successful. Also for e.g. charity related conferences I would recommend this place, because it is cheap and has good enough conference facilities. Together with my son I also went to this place just for a weekend-out and for that purpose it is also very pleasant and cheap. It is not very luxurious, but excellent value for money.

De sfeer vd abdij en de omgeving is fantastisch maar de budget kamer is echt enorm gehorig. Ik had oordoppen in, maar dan nog hielp het voor mij niet voldoende tegen het geluid om goed te kunnen slapen

Voor de 3e keer geweest. Personeel nog net zo perfect en aardig!! Diner en consumpties erg duur geworden. Limburgse vlaai bij aankomst was van een supermarkt, heel jammer. Kamer was niet goed schoon, vuil op plinten. We kijken een volgende keer maar naar 4 sterren

Geluiden klinken dubbel zo hard , mede gasten die deuren openen en dicht doen gaat gepaard met veel lawaai . zou rubbers in kozijnen plakken zo dat het dempt als je deur sluit van de kamer . scharnieren piepen en kraken dag en nacht . lift werkte niet dus koffers naar boven tillen via trap . lift deur stond open op andere verdieping waardoor lift niet kwam . 1 nacht is genoeg .

N.a.v. het WMC in Kerkrade zocht ik logement in de buurt. De abdij zelf ademt geschiedenis. Ik boekte de eenvoudigste kamer, prima. Toiletten en douches op de gang, ook prima. Personeel receptie: behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ontbijt: erg uitgebreid, echt veel keuze aan spijs en drank.

Wat een prachtige plek om aan te komen! Even zoeken naar de deur, maar mooie ontvangsthal en receptie. Vriendelijke medewerker. Geweldig om door de gangen van de abdij te lopen. Onze gekozen kamer was basic, maar heel netjes en schoon. We komen graag nog eens terug!
