Weekend getaway - well priced, comfortable, handy.”
I was able to book a room for around Aud one hundred. I booked a standard room, but received an upgrade to king suite - 3rd (the top) floor. (#313) I was concerned that because Abode allows dogs, my room might smell or I would hear barking dogs - so I phoned ahead before booking and was told to request the top floor. On arrival the receptionist told me that dogs are limited to the ground floor section (east side - (rooms are only on the east side on the ground floor.) I hope I'm passing on the correct information - please double-check for yourself. Room hints - weekend travellers : I think the west side rooms in winter would be quietest - they overlook apartment balconies and (business) car park but also a view towards parliament house. Free parking on the streets on weekends. North facing rooms (the entry side of the hotel) face onto al fresco restaurants across the street - not a problem in winter during a pandemic - but might be noisy otherwise. Easy walk to lake and lots of eateries, market (when it's open), a healthy walk to art galleries. Good value for the price. No reception 5pm - 9am (ish). No phone (that I could see) in the room to phone reception. If you can afford it - I'd recommend 3rd (top) floor. The west side studios don't have balconies. But they have expansive windows and you can open the centre window a bit for fresh air. I think there are 2 "hotel room" on the 3rd floor as well looking at the floor plan. Happy travels!

Great Location, Value for Money and Cooperative Staff”
The hotel is close to the Canberra station (walking distance ~8-10mins) and commutation is very easy. The staff was very helpful, cooperative and polite. The room was great and so were the facilities including casting facility to watch in television. The parliament and war memorials are also close by - max 10-15mins drive one side, thus it was a bonus. You can find different cuisines around the hotel. I will definitely recommend people to stay in the hotel and will book again when I visit Canberra

Great hotel close to Manuka”
We stayed here for the cricket and it was a great hotel. Room had a great kitchenette and a comfy bed and Kingston is a cool area with lots of restaurants and bars, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Canberra

Quiet, well located and spotless”
Stayed here for a couple of nights while I did the Botticelli to Van Gogh exhibition and other sights. The room was well appointed, quiet as I am a light sleeper. Spotless, parking for $15 per day. Would stay again without question.

Exceptional”
Nice new hotel in Kingston which is a nice quiet suburb close to the city centre, with some lovely restaurants and cafes about. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms were much better and more spacious than I expected, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. You do need to book parking in advance as there aren’t a lot of spaces, but the parking level itself is secure and easy to get in and out of.

Solid choice”
Good central location with many cafes, a supermarket, chemist, bars and the Lake close by. Very easy check in. Room very clean, grateful for the kitchen facilities. The lift was quite slow. Parking is on the street - free after 1230pm-ish on a Saturday and all day Sunday, but you might have to pay outside those hours. Would stay again.

Great location and good value for money!”
The location is great, and close to many cafes and restaurants. The staff are amazing and super helpful. The kitchenette is functional, and rooms very modern. However the shower kept flooding the bathroom, I think the drain may have been blocked. Otherwise highly recommend!

Excellent Service”
Smooth and fast check in. Staffs are helpful and welcoming. Despite the fact that I asked for quiet room, I was placed in a room where I can hear people talking on the road. The pipe bursting outside the hotel after midnight did not help.

Location, Location”
We have stayed here on previous occasions, the location is fantastic, handy to everything. Across the road a line of eateries covering many cuisines. My only complaint there is no mirror other than a difficult to reach one over the toilet. I have been told many times 'yes we are getting full length mirrors' - come on a trip to Bunnings or Mitre 10 one for each room won't break the bank. Bit stingy on the number of tea bags 2x English Breakfast and 2 x Earl Grey so take your own supply!

Well thought out, well implemented ”
We like this hotel. I think it is primarily a business hotel but it was great for our visit to family. The rooms are good, the bed is good and the bathroom is good. All the essentials are here. It is not a resort hotel it is a very good accommodation for travelers and business people.

Great location ”
Really enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the foreshore, great restaurants across the road. The room was great but would be even better with a mirror in the living area or inside the wardrobe door. But apart from that really enjoyed our stay!

Love this place but no where is there a full length mirror”
Great facilities and everything I need except a full length mirror! I come to Canberra often for family. But I never can check myself out before I leave as there is only a face mirror in the bathroom.

Hotel honoured my booking which was not used due to COVID with no hassle. Convenient to shops, restaurants and Manuka Oval. Good for families.

Great position, comfortable and all you need really!”
No full length mirror which is really bad. As I have been twice in 6 months for special events. And only a face mirror in bathroom
