Excellent location, everything was great”
The Adagio aparthotel is very close to the St Charles station, 200 m. We stayed one night for transit, got the room upgraded - one double bed and a sofa bed, mattresses were great, clean, well equipped kitchen but didnt get a chance to use them.

I booked this as it was close to the station for my journey back the next day but decided to stay an extra night. the staff are just great and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Room was clean modern and had everything, I'll be going back next visit.

Pro- a few minutes away from the train station (very convenient for day trips), spacious room with kitchen utensils, fast WiFi connection Con - no free cleaning service if you're staying less than 8 days (so you end up using the same towels etc for 7 days), you can hear outside noise since it is near the train station (but generally okay), air-conditioning could be colder

I had a studio apartment, which had a small balcony and plenty of sunshine! There was a strong, oniony smell though in the unit, which diminished a bit when I left the windows open. It was perfectly located near the bus and train stations. Alexis at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Other than the studio facilities, Adagio has a laundry room--exactly what I needed after my travels. Being near the train station, there is no problem finding food and other stuff; across the train station there is also a Carrefour Supermarket. I only stayed one night, but could have stayed for more had my itinerary allowed it!

Feels like home ”
The staff here are exceptional! Despite being right at the train station, it’s very quiet and the view from our 6 th floor room was interesting. Overall a great place to stay especially if you want to be near the train station.

Convenient location with adequate facilities”
A pleasant stroll away from Marseille attractions and a stone's throw away from the main train station, this hotel is perfect for Eurail travellers. We got there very late, but their 24 hour reception was very handy. The only thing they don't mention is some kind of paperwork fee that cost an extra 3 Euro. Also breakfast was not included and cost an extra 8 Euro per person. Fit for our purpose though. Reception was very helpful. Wifi was free, but had some issues with internet access as I couldn't find their specified connection and wasn't there long enough to be bothered making a fuss.

Very very close to Marseille railway station, (maybe few hundred metres).. We travelled by Euro rail with a baby and 4 full size bags.. hotel was very close to railway station and hence did not had any in convenience. Morever the rooms were quite nice and clean.

Location is excellent in which close to train and bus station, around 20 mins walk to the city center. Stayed for 3 nights and cooked every day, love the kitchen and it's very user friendly. Only picky thing was no hair dryer provided. Will definitely stay here again if I travel to Marseille. Helpful and sweet staff, thanks for making my stay fabulous ;)

great location if travelling by train”
hotel overlooked the main railway station making it easily accessible. great heater in the bathroom to dry laundry. small kitchenette very useful for cooking when we didnt feel like going out. food also available at the railway station. room was a good size and quite. we would recommmend. reception very helpful with queries about locations within the city and recommended local restaurants.

Average hotel for an average price.”
There is just not much great or much bad to say about this hotel. It served its purpose. Staff not very friendly or helpful, but the hotel was clean and easy to find. Marseille is not the greatest city in general, but I do not recognise all the comments about the hotel being in a bad neighborhood -- its no worse than the rest of the city. If you are looking for a decent place without much fuss... book this place!

The hotel is just a block from the TGV station where there is also a Metro station, so it is ideal for transport. There are few cafes in the area, though there is a great pizza and kebab store a block away. The rooms are large and comfortable with a kitchenette.

Location is both good and bad ”
1) Location is close to train station. Not hard to find if you have google map. But the area is not so safe. The first time when I went out of the train station, there are several teenagers asking me for money rudely. But I managed to get rid of them but I saw those teenagers kept preying other tourists. Be careful in this area. (A bad opening to my trip) 2) Internet was fast so far but you gotta use wire connection otherwise I suggest you bring along with a portable router. 3) Room is spacious and quite clean. The pantry is the highlight, since the area is not that safe, I could buy some food to cook it inside the room in order not to go out/ come back from late night 4) Cannot comment on food since I didnt try 5) Staff service is average, not very enthusiastic about the hospitality industry they are engaged in. (I think it is quite common in France)

The facilities and view is very good, feel comfortable. Easy to find train station, less then 3 minutes to walk, but need to becareful during night time, because is the city center, will crowded. Room, toilet, kitchen is clean and comfortable, have microwave as well, you can buy convenience food or you can cook by self.

It is quite near the central railway station but if you want to take tram and bus you need to walk for about 10 minutes.we can cook food in the room which is good. But the wifi is only free at the lobby hich is inconvenience.

Literally steps from railway station”
Excellent location for late night arrival of two women travellers. Breakfast adequate to see us on our way and very helpful reception staff.
