Location - couldn't be in a better position really for Central/North. Firstly its not called Adam & Eve so is difficult to find as you go off the address rather than the name, then you get pointed to go to Reception which is next door. The hotel is one of 5-7 the landlord managed and upon arrival we were told that we wouldn't be staying in this hotel as they were busy and had a big stag group in and that we had been moved to another property down the street the Hangover hotel. You've the option to hire towels at reception for £1, no towels are provided with the rooms so bring your own. To clarify the reception for the hangover Hotel is the one on York Street, there's no staff in the Hangover Hotel at all so for any hotel queries or issues you would need to come to the building on York street to see staff. Staff cheery enough, friendly and polite. Although this review is for the Hangover Hotel not the Adam & Eve I can't imagine there's much difference in quality. The hangover hotel is lowest of the low budget you could possibly imagine even compared to 4 other budget hotels our friends booked in the same price bracket in the same weekend. We paid £25 per night for a double room, there was no breakfast (although that is only a good thing as i'd definitely not eat there!), there was no WIFI despite it being advertised on the wall of the hotel, there was no parking for the property, there is street parking if you are lucky enough to find it but the roads here are double parked constantly, aside from parking on the street there is a Carpark opposite that is £10 for 24 hours. The hotel itself is filthy manky, there's not enough ways to describe how manky this place is, if you've OCD then stay away you'd passout before you got up the stairs which are covered in all manner of stains. The cleanliness level continues throughout the whole property with stains and dirt everywhere. The double room we booked was bare, contained a double bed, 2 thin pillows and a duvet t

Absolutely disgusting here! Would not recommend anyone to stay here! Room was damp and mouldy, holes in the walls, unsafe beds, dirty and damp bedding! Light fittings broken, plug sockets broken, dirty carpets.. The list is endless! Not forgetting the visitors through the night, SLUGS! This dump should be condemned it's that bad! Bathroom had dips in the floor and mouldy showers. Definitely a health hazard staying here!

Beds were alright, a nice small kitchen space but god cleanliness were awful. Leftover food in the oven and fridge not cleaned! No mirrors in the room and toilet at all! Guess this is what you get for a cheap one night stay.

          1. Comfy bed .......
Room was literally a box with a double bed and a sink. Walls was full of filler to cover cracks and holes. Soon as you walk in the front door there's a weird smell to it. No good for couples or families but if it's a group/Stag or Hen party and just need somewhere to lay your head at the end of the night then can't grumble. Personally wouldn't go there again.

Near the beach - It was only 1 night - Slightly more space than my car
If I owned a hotel, I would give the room a quick check to make sure everything was as it should be before letting guests in. No this hotel... upon entry we were presented with a small picture on the wall that was wonky to the point we thought we was in one of those crooked house's you get at the fun fair which set the scene. A closer look around highlighted how environmentally friendly the hotel was, a table lamp without a bulb and a kettle that you had to wiggle to get to work. Oh, I almost forgot, The curtains were hanging off the rail where I suppose a previous visitor tried to get out in a hurry. Parking is available but at the pay and display if your lucky enough to get a space - be warned though, its tight getting in and out of the space, we witnessed someone reversing into another car and driving off.
