Close, bug no cigar”
The hotel was definitely close to Kauffman and Arrowhead stadiums, but... after finding a live bug crawling on my shower wall I was taken back. Also, a lightbulb in the bathroom was burnt out and needed to be replaced.
Very convenient to Kauffman Stadium”
The shuttle for the baseball game was great
dont waste your money ”
The area around the hotel was pretty scary, we had a really hard time finding the indoor pool, there is no signs or maps to find them, you have to ask to find the pool. if they have a private party you cant use it. The coco keys part is not included in the stay price, the arcade is really over priced and half the games dont work..... one of the staff was pretty rude to me about figuring out the bands for the water park... I wont be back
Weekend with our grandson!”
Enjoyed the pools. Decided to wait until he was older to do Coco Key Water Park so we may be back in a couple of years. Found the carpets to be uncomfortably stained and dusty. Dust floated around the room every time someone walked. But the Lobby and foyer areas were very nice!
I love the front desk worker ciera so was nice and polite
As grandma I had my own room with a small dog, for which I paid $25 extra per night. My daughter and her family, 3 small children and her husband stayed in 345 and I stayed in room 350. Clearly, this area of the hotel had not been used in a long time. The layer of dust in both rooms was thick, the carpets were filthy, and overall fixtures were broken, loose, or worn. The toilet was running in my room, the ice machine on our floor was out of order. I took my dog out at 4:00 am and the music at the front door was blaring, and a group of male workers were sitting outside on chairs smoking, laughing, and carrying on...and it made me uncomfortable walking past them as they got quiet and watched me walk to the dog area...They were gone when I returned.
disappointed in check in had to wait 3 hours when I was told I could ckeck in at 3:30
Hotel was overbooked and had to wait for room”
Paid for a king size bed got a double bed
Pros- very close to downtown KC and the stadium. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Cons- cleanliness of our hotel room, hotel room bathroom, and the indoor pool area bathroom. The hygiene and cleanliness of some of the indoor pool areas as well as our hotel room shower/tub was a big turn off. No continental breakfast offered.
Extra fee $50 . Hallways carpet dirty. No refrigerator in room had to ask for one.
This hotel could use an update. Seemed more like a hotel that has been used for Spring Break than business use. Didn't check in until 7PM and rooms were not ready.
Worse motel ever”
I booked thru 3rd party so can’t get refund. Manager at motel RUDE DIDNT CARE. 1. First told breakfast NOPE 2. SaidWe were going to have them do an on the 23rd floor and in very nice small suite 3. Arrived at motel with told we were on the first floor arrived at room was very very disappointed in the minute we walked in the carpeting was soaked damp so we went back down and told them they said there’s nothing they can do. 4. Room was very hot Went back down and told them that not only that I did not have refrigerator and I’m diabetic and I have a disease and I needed refrigerator they said they get one in the room and fix the AC came home at night and our room was smothering her went to crawling to bed and her sheets was is damp is damp could be a course nothing can be done Next morning we got up floor was even more damp and over by the bathroom and the ceiling was leaking all over the chair that I need to sit on it to put my make on Had to ask hairdryer didn’t w
Did not have a good experience being stuck in what felt like a basement with a leaking air conditioner and a slow flushing toilet and the beds were not comfy at all.
Hotel is old and not clean. Our rooms floors were filthy and the bed skirt had stains all over it. Wallpaper was peeling and the room smelled like stale smoke.
Great location for Stadiums”
Great location for what we needed, Bed was hard, no shampoo, few outlets did not work. Very Friendly Staff
overall bad experience ”
The bathroom had a used soap bar on the counter with wadded up rag on the counter. Also the bedding was just sitting on there. There was no fitted sheet it was just a loose sheet sitting on top of the mattress to sleep on. Cable reception and WiFi reception were horrible. Kept going in and out. Overall wouldn’t stay here again.
Not Worth the Money”
We were given the wrong rooms, the rooms were dirty, when first check in room doors were open. There was poop in one of our toilets. Not a great experience
The hotel is old and outdated. ”
It is in desperate need of updates. There are a lot of conveniences that could be added. The carpets were disgusting. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. There was plenty of room for them, so space is not an issue. Breakfast was too expensive.
Convenient place. Close to royals stadium and 12 min cab ride downtown.
The hotel is very dirty. My room temperature never got below 80°. ”
I had to go to Walmart for Clorox wipes to clean ALL the surfaces in my room including the thermostat. There were stains in my carpet, scratches on the door, closet door was shabby, towels had hair on them. The window is covered with blinds (not the nice ones). The entire hotel was hot including the lobby. Instead of staying over the last night. I added this night to an existing group stay, I opted to drive 8 hours back to Dallas, Texas. My flight was the next morning. I couldn’t stay another day. The girls tried to order pizza and they were told that they don’t deliver there. It was only 3 miles away. At breakfast one of the other parents found a hair in his potatoes. It’s just bad... The one positive is the water was nice and hot for showers.
