Great hotel near to attractions”
Friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms (if you are big sized, opt for the deluxe room). Less than 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi. A lot of restaurants around. The hotel has a rooftop panoramic view of the Old City. Absolutely stunning

Safe in the heart of Istanbul”
The location, the food and the service.
Although the hotel is an old one quite in keeping with Sultanahmet, it was quite opulently presented. The service from the front desk was first class and good English was spoken by all duty managers. The location was noisy but the traffic jams on the corner were very entertaining. A great restaurant on the 6th floor has the best view of the area and the Golden Horn - food was of a high standard, served well and reasonably priced. The view from the balcony above is to die for both day and night. The friendliness of local merchants made me feel safe even though I spoke no Turkish and located 250 metres from the Hagia Sophia and cistern is a great place to start in Istanbul. Very happy.

One of the Top 5 best hotels I’ve ever stayed at”
Staff & location perfect mix
This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. I could not believe how good the reviews were before our visit, so we were gladly surprised when everything turned out great. The staff is its main asset. What a great bunch of people, the guys at reception are so helpful; helped us to organise a atrip to Cappadocia. We had to leave very early that day and they kindly organised coffee and tea for us. They did the same thing when we did the check out at 6am. We wanted to go to a museum for which you need to book (and fax your passport) and they helped us to do all the process. After we paid one bill, they realised they had mistakenly over-charged us (like $10 USD), it was an honest mistake and the guy at reception apologised 5 times even when we told him not to worry. He sent the bell boy straight away to refund our money. The staff in general would not stop smiling and making us feel welcomed; the cleaning staff even tried to speak in Spanish to us, the bell boy made his best effort to communicate in English and the restaurant staff was always attentive to our requests/questions. Restaurant: it’s not the best buffet but it’s still good. There was a good mix of Turkish food, breads and spreads. It gave us a good idea of what Turkish people eat every day, we were keen on the cultural experience so we didn’t mind the relatively ‘basic’ buffet. After 5 days we wanted a different option to boiled or scrambled eggs and they kindly offered to fry some for us. The only thing to improve is the coffee! It’s a machine one so don’t expect the best. Did I mention the restaurant views? AWESOME views of the city, sea , Blue Mosque and Haya Sophia. Having breakfast each day with that view was a highlight of our stay in Turkey. Location: Literally walking distance to all major attractions. It was so easy to get around. Room: not big rooms but who cares! It was a small boutique hotel in an old building afterall. Thank you Adamar Hotel for making our sta

Perfect location; and great service”
Very convenient location, breakfast on top floor with great view
I really enjoyed staying at Adamar Hotel, which is within walking distance to main points of attractions and tram station. There are many eating choices close by. Breakfast is served on top floor with fabulous view of the Old City.

Great Location and service”
Great location, good service from the staff.. and the Panorama restaurant really has a panoramic view of all of the attractions at Sultanahmet
We found the Adamar to be well located to see the sights of Sultanahmet, amd also the restaurants. The Panorama restaurant is also excellent. The terrace can be windy..but they all are in this area. But the view over the Bosphorus is spectacular and worth the mild discomfort. The terrace does have glassed walls to reduce the effects of the wind. Some lower cost rooms ending with "1" can be very small, making it difficult to navigate around your luggage. The rooms endung with "3" or "4" are certainly larger.
