Tidy spotlessly clean apartments with air con. and wifi, good showers comfortable bed. Lovely gardens and grounds down to the ocean with picnic tables and a small bbq. Great swimming pool in excellent condition. Very pleasant pavilion for meals and drinks. The staff were all so helpful and attentive, motorcycles for hire, pick ups and drop offs cheerfully undertaken at very unsociable hours, our fish purchased in the market cooked to order.

Solemn Place for you to Relax”
My partner and his parents went there for a short summer get away last April and we really appreciate the beauty of this place. Very clean rooms, luxurious bath essentials just like no other resorts, hot and cold shower, and of course the owner themselves were generous enough to talk to us and made sure we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Will definitely recommend this place for those who want to tour Siquijor soon! P.S. I really appreciate the open kitchen fronting the beach where me and my partner spent most of our time enjoying the scenic view while cooking our food!

Very clean and well maintained resort. They have a very beautiful garden. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. A place where you can relax and recharge after a busy week. Highly recommended.

Quiet and peaceful area. A little bit far from the main road which costs more for transportation. Staff is very accommodating and the facilities were excellent. Room we got is facing the sea with cool breeze and is far better than average.

Group of friends here who stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Lovely property though very far from the main road. Staff was accommodating and the pool was lovely. :)

A nice getaway hotel but far from night hot spots”
Staff is welcoming, breakfast satisfying and rooms and facilities are nice. The only negative is it’s location, it’s far and costly (tricycle rent is expensive) if you want to grab dinner outside.

Not What I Expected”
Be cautionary, the pictures of the units shown will be totally different to the ones you'll be actually having once you'll get at the resort! Plus in the 3 nights we spent, we never had any internet & only a cable on the last night in our unit! But the staff & the owner are very nice & accommodating.

We understand our guests' desire for a perfect internet while staying, but that is not completely realistic on a small island, with occasional energy brownouts around the island and fluctuating signal strengths. This guest was welcome, like all our guests, to avail of stronger wifi signals in our public areas if the room signal is not optimal. As for the statement that "the pictures of the units shown will be totally different to the ones you'll be actually having" is a very odd observation to us...we think this guest is the first ever with that idea! The truth is, *ALL* of our photos of our rooms are the actual photos of the rooms- there is no dishonesty or trickery here at all. No Photoshopped pictures, no gimmicks. We have no idea why this guest thought differently, we are wondering what is the justification for that unusual remark... At any rate, we thank her for choosing our resort and wish her safe travels. i was looking for a coco grove accom.. it being fully booked i was suggested to ADAYO COVE Staff:3/5 Facilities: 3/5 ... rm doors could not be locked absence of a worthwhile shoreline swimming pool available on very restricted hours food: needs a lot of improvement

This is Adayo Cove Resort responding to this review. We actually remember this guest well and she and her husband were wonderful guests. We enjoyed talking with both during their stay with us. There was never a negative comment from either, therefore we believe this rating is actually based on what the guests thought was a 5-point rating system, not a 10-point system. If we are correct, we would hope they might review their rating and revise it? 😍 Anyway, thank you for choosing Adayo Cove!

Emely is all about customer service!”
Siquijor is a quiet place and accommodation is resort style - there is little in the way of a hub of places to stay. Adayo Cove fits that fill and is a nice quiet getaway. There is access to the water, although it's not a beach - so you need water shoes. Emely is the caretaker and she is awesome. She contacted the owner to lend me snorkeling gear, she and her husband applied coconut oil to my jellyfish stings, and she accompanied me to the port on their rental motorbike, so that I didn't need to pay for transport. Adayo Cove is a work in process; they have plans to further develop it. In the meantime, it is a relaxing, quiet place to stay with good service.

My husband and I really enjoyed Adayo Cove. The resort is far away from the main road back a bumpy stone lane. I recommend getting a scooter if you stay here (you can rent from the resort or right in front of the ferry/airport terminals). Our room was clean and spacious. The gardens and views of the sea were beautiful. Breakfast was satisfying, and the staff was so accomodating and helped out with everything we requested. They even let us borrow snorkeling gear for free! My only critique would be that the food was a little pricey compared to other restaurants (but normal for a resort). We would definitely stay here again!

Adayo Cove is a place that you will stay in when you want peace and quiet. The place is lovely and the staff is accommodating. It doesn't have the sandy shoreline but that's what you go to Salagdoong beach for. It's very homey.

Friendly staff, food is good and cheap, the place is very beautiful and peaceful, owner is very accomodating and she always make sure that we are safe when we had our city tour and island hoping, it is indeed a home away from home. We fell in love with the place the moment we enter the place it was very nice and clean. We are treated like a member of their family. Will definitely recommend it. Thank you Adayo staff and owner. Nice place but a bit far”
Very nice hotel, in a very picturesque cove. There is entrance going straight in the lagoon with crystal clear water and with excellent snorkeling and swimming. There was a bit problem with checking in - the hotel was under renovation and they didn't expect any guests from Agoda (I have booked long in advance), but all was sorted out. The rooms are very new and fresh, almost like in 4* hotels in Manila. The only issue - it's quite far from main area of San Juan restaurant and dive shops. You must rent a bike and able to drive it. If you comfortable with riding a bike - that's the best hotel that can offer for solo traveler or couple.

Very helpful staff”
Stayed in a beautiful native cottage with our own bathroom and aircon. Staff and owners were very helpful with making recommendations and giving us tips for the island. Breakfast every morning was amazing. Bonus of a brand new pool. Located off the main highway way but staff able to arrange tricycles to pick you up from the resort.

I loved this place!”
We lived here for 3 nights, we were all by ourself. The pool was big. Also the breakfast was awesome. Emily was a great host! She helped us with everything. We hired our own motorbikes at the ferryport (recommend this to get to the hotel and to explore the island) An awesome stay!

Lonely place”
We would go there again - if it's sure that we aren't the only guests. Was a bit scary at night-time. But it's one of the better places on Siquijor.

We note we are a small resort with just a few rooms, but we employ a full-time guard every evening and the island in general is very safe, with a low crime rate compared to cities. We also have many times where events occur such as weddings and meetings, so some would consider peace and quiet a virtue :-).
