Fantastic experience. Staff goes above and beyond!”
We didn't know when booking this hotel, but it's located in a very Japan-centric neighborhood. Seems like most of the guests were Japanese businessmen. Lots of sushi restaurants nearby and massage places with Japanese names. A guest from Singapore told us he is a frequent guest at Adelphi Grande and assured us that Sukhumvit is a safer area than many because of the Japanese. This seemed to be true, as my girl friend and I discovered we felt safer there than any other place we visited in Bangkok. Arriving back at Adelphi each night felt like arriving home. --Like I said, great breakfast, nice beds. Very clean. DVD player was a nice bonus and we had a fun couple of movie nights after long hot days exploring. And so nice to do our laundry; the machine is very sleek and modern! What really stands out to me, though, was the man Jamre downstairs who was available every morning to help us plan our day. He helped us get to the Tiger Temple for much cheaper than we'd found online, arranged numerous taxis with great drivers to take us sightseeing around town. Told us how to take the subway to JJ Market and advised us on safety and haggling for the best deals. At the end of our stay, we had a very late night plane and he arranged for us to have not only a late checkout, but to leave our bags at the front desk all evening while we killed time getting massages and eating dinner, and THEN to shower at the hotel so we'd be fresh for our red eye flight. Thanks so much to all the friendly staff for the great service. Above and beyond, people, above and beyond. Great hotel that I'd stay at again in a heartbeat.
Adelphi Grande - Mostly Pros”
The Adelphi Grande is at an excellent location, down a quiet soi off Sukhumvit. My family and I had a nice welcome on arrival and the pleasant surprise of room upgrade offered free of charge by the hotel. There was some mix up about charges for extra beds, but the staff dealt with it immediately in a quiet, and most importantly, pleasant manner. The hotel is brand new and this shows nicely - everything works as it should, it's spick and span without being hotel-bland. The Adelphi has a good-sized pool, with some tables where a pool-side meal or drinks can be taken. One of the things I most liked about the Adelphi was a very pleasant outside breakfast restaurant backing on to private neighbouring gardens - birdsong in the morning is a most unexpected joy in central Bangkok! This is where you can escape the drone of 2 wide screen televisions constantly switched on in the main restaurant, which was the only aspect I can say I disliked about this hotel. On the convenience front, there is a well-stocked corner store a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is also near the Emporium Mall, handy for some upscale shopping or watching a film. The Skytrain is not far by BKK standards, but does add 10-15 min to your journey if you walk. The hotel tuk tuk is very convenient for this short trip, but unfortunately did not seem to be often available. There are usually no taxis outside but a guard is sent to the main road on a bicyle to fetch one, which works well. If I had to vote for some small improvements they would include an additional computer for guest internet access and extended opening hours for the restaurant, which doesn't take orders after 10pm. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.
Modern boutique apartment with excellent service”
this is my 2nd time staying at adelphi grande as i have stayed at this same apartment when i visited bangkok last year. the apartment is well equipped with a proper kitchen (electronic cooker hood and hob, microwave oven, fridge, washer cum dryer) and they gave us a free upgrade to executive suite and free baby cot for my baby. the daily breakfast spread was great with excellent service from staff. the only cons is that its location was quite far away from shopping areas (mbk, platinium fashion mall, etc). and it is situated in a upmarket area that is peaceful and quiet which i do not mind. if you need to buy your daily necessities, there is a tops supermarket nearby. fyi, the nearest bts is phrom pong. overall, i still enjoyed very much my stay at adelphi grande and highly recommended for small family looking for alternative accomodation in bangkok instead of the usual hotel stay.
Great Location”
I stayed at the Adelphi Grande for 3 nights and found it to be a wonderful hotel with good amenities. The breakfast every morning was excellent. The swimming pool is a good size and is not busy most of the time. Hotel is very quiet at nigths so guest can get a good nights sleep. Security is very good at the hotel as the main entrance of the hotel has a guard 24 hrs a day and the lifts to the floors requires you use your keycard to operate and eventhough the Soi looks quiet and dark at night it is very safe... generally Bangkok is a safe city to be in. There is a tuk-tuk service by the hotel to pick/send you to Sukhumvit Road (nice when you are tired after walking the streets of Bangkok).
A tranquil oasis in the centre of Bangkok”
I have stayed at the Adelphi Grande on several occasions and have always received the same quality of service. (The staff have remembered my previous visits and always made me feel special.) The apartments are clean and very well presented with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The building is situated in a beautiful soi (small street) adorned with trees and flowers and so very peaceful. It is no more than a 3 minute walk to the main Sukumvit Road and another 2 to The Emporium Shopping Mall (a must for first time visitors). Free transport is provided to the Sukumvit Road, but I like to take the extra couple of minutes and drink in the surroundings and peacefulness before getting into "shopping mode". The BTS (sky train) is also located at the Emporium (Phrom Pong)allowing for easy and swift access to other parts of the city. There is one cafe in the complex with I find somewhat disappointing but bearing in mind that the Adelphi Grande is a very reasonably priced option and the close proximity to bars, clubs and restaurants, I still think it to be an excellent choice!
Very good hotel/serviced apartments”
My partner and I stayed a couple of nights at Adelphi Grande Hotel in two different occasions and we loved the place both times. The staff is friendly and attantive and the hotel has all the amenities one could wish for. The hotel is close to a Sky train station which makes moving around Bangkok much easier. The hotel is perfect for those that might be staying longer or are coming from a long trip as they have washing machines in the rooms. Breakfast is good and plenty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought the place was pleasant, clean and convenient. Would absolutely stay at Adelphi Grande next time in Bangkok.
comfortable, good value, efficient”
Adelphi grande was clean, comfortable, friendly, and had all the features and faciliies you need for a short stay in Bangkok. The room was modest in size but very comfortable and well equipped, except for the kitchenette. This had microwave fridge/freezer, 2 ring hob and sink which was fine but very little in the way of crockery and no cookware. Except for heating something up in the microwave I don't see how you could cook there. But perhaps that's all most people need. Does make you wonder why there's a hob if there are no pots to put on it though. besides that I really have no complaints about the Adelphi. Pool is nice, breakfast was reasonable, we did not eat there other than the included breakfast. The free tuk tuk to the end of the soi was a big hit with my kid and was very welcome when returning to the hotel via the skytrain with bags of shopping. All in all a good place to base yourself in Bangkok and at Agoda's prices, great value for money.
Excellent hotel”
adelphi grande is a better version of adelphi (soi 8) where i stayed before. this one is located away from the noise and traffic, about 300 meters from sukhumvit in soi 41. five minutes walking distance form bts, but hotel provides shuttle if needed. great location, nice and clean rooms, convenient parking facilities, great breakfast and efficient staff. the hotel has a nice gym and a small pool. the internet link unfortunately was a bit slow and needs improvement. overall a great place to stay in bangkok.
Najlepszy z naszych 6-ciu hoteli w Tajlandii”
We have visited 6 hotels in Tajland (including 3 located in Bangkok of which one was 5-star) during our 2-week trip and Adelphi Grande Hotel was clearly the best choice given overall comfort and price-quality relation. Located in a quiet area but very close to Phrom Pong sky train station. Very well furnished room with a lot of space. Very efficient consierge service have assisted in arranging a reasonable travel office for a tailor-made sightseeing tour outside Bangkok.
Wonderful Hotel with Friendly Staff”
I had a wonderful and restful stay at the Adelphi Grande Hotel, Bangkok... my room was a very nice and comfortable room with a good view of the Bangkok skyline. The hotel staff was very helpful/courteous and the housekeeping was wonderful. I would definitly stay at the Adelphi Grande Hotel, Bangkok again on my next visit to Bangkok
Accidental Discovery”
I had actually was planning to stay at the Adelphi Serviced Apartments but accidently booked the Adelphi Grande Suite. The hotel itself is seems very new and modern. My room we very spacious, the kitchen was large, had a nice sitting room with a small eating area. Lots of closet and drawer space. 2 large flat screen TV, free HBO, free Wifi. The breakfast buffet is nice. The pool and workout room are reasonable. The main problem I had was that the road it is on right now is under construction so it was very difficult to get to by taxi. It is about 2 blocks from the Skytrain which is not too bad except when it rained the road under contruction becomes mud.
Very satisfied with the room and hotel staff ”
I have an fabulous experience staying in this Hotel for 7 days. Clean and spacious room and quality Hotel staff service. Best of all the peaceful environment, as the Hotel is located about 100m away from the busy main road. Yet close enough within walking distance to the nearby Phrom Phong BTS (Sky Train Station)that conveniently contacts to all part of Bangkok. I would most likely stay again in Adelphi Grande and strongly recommend my friends to do so.
Hidden Gem!”
Having been in Asia for over 10 years now, I can honestly say that the Adelphi Grand is one of the best propositions for a stay in Bangkok. The rooms are huge and recently renovated. They are also clean, and extremely well appointed, with a laundry machine and Japanese electronic toilets amongst other things. a 5 minute walk to the Skystrain station, but still very quiet, and good black our curtains. Staff were very friendly, and there is a free tuk-tuk if you are too lazy to walk the 400m to the beginning of the street. Will definitely stay here again.

Grande is the word”
On arrival Reception and Lobby staff gave a warm greeting and speedy check inn. The Lobby area is nice in appearence and has free internet service available. The lobby is 24hrs service. The facilites are excellent -Modern Gym ,outside pool area with wifi access ,table service and a very clean pool. A free Tuk Tuk ride to the main road is provided, handy in the wet season or when in a hurry , it is 3 min to walk. The room was kept very clean by pleasent House Keeping staff. In room facilities were modern Wall mounted flat screen TV , comfortable bed (firm), good aircon, washing machine, and kitchen. The Resturant staff were pleasent and helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty of variety, kept me happy for two weeks..... The area is safe and close walking to many good Thai and Japanese resturants. The BTS and Shopping area same. Well done Adelphi Grande Hotel
Our stay at Adelphi Grande @ Sukhumvit Soi 41”
Adelphi Grande comprising of serviced studios are cozy and has a full range of facilities including kitchenette, washing machine, refrigerator which comes very handy especially if you have younger children. Breakfast is commendable, having a good international spread including eggs to order, fruits, salad, veg and non-veg dishes, juices and coffee/tea. Swimming pool and the Gym facilities are also neat and well maintained. Location of this place at Soi 41 is excellent having a safe 5mins walk distance from the main road avoiding the traffic noise & hustle bustle. This is a central location and comfortable to commute around by taxis or the BTS rides (nearest Phrom Phong station is just a 7 min walk) If you are with family,i would suggest booking Grab (or) Uber rides in your mobile app.Grab mostly cheaper and better in terms of drivers locating our places/navigation.Definitely better than standard metered taxis and the Tuk Tuk. Overall a cozy and comfortable place to stay!

Very good hotel very bear skytrain”
I enjoyed my stay at the Adelphi Grande Hotel. I was very pleased with my room and the view from my window over looked a wonderful view of Bangkok. The staff were always friendly here. I enjoyed the breakfast very much and it ran from 5.30 in the morning until 10.30. The fitness room there is very good and the pool not too bad either. All in all a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel whole heartedly.
Adelphi Grande October 2010”
The Adelphi Grande is well located in Sukhumvit Soi 41 which is very convenient for shopping at the Emporium shopping mall and not far from the BTS Skytrain. The hotel has a shuttle tuk-tuk to take guests to the supermarket and shops at the Sukhumvit main road. The swimming pool and gym are very good and the staff are very good and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended.
Great location and fantastic service”
Couldn't fault the Adelphi Grande. Service was exceptional and all staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well equipted with the most comfortable bed I have slept in away from home. Fantastic location with a small supermarket with everything you would need at the end of the street and the Skyrail a few minutes walk away. Would definately recommend to my friends and will return when next in Bangkok.

style and professional with many smiles”
Everything about our stay was exemplary except the corridor of the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. This we saw as an aberration, probably the fault of an inconsiderate guest and little to do with the running of this fine hotel. This was one of the best stays we had in Thailand and would return happily. Many thanks to the very helpful staff at the Adelphi Grande. I would appreciate if you could pass this review onto the hotel
