Adina has been my regular Launceston stop over property. ”
The staff are awesome its like they get a bonus for being friendly and helpful. My only little criticism is paying $1 for fresh milk its almost a joke. The .0000 % difference of the cost of sachet milk to the $1 milk is nothing but one less time consumer at check in.
Great location and well appointed rooms”
Great location with well appointed, clean rooms. We were upgraded to spa room on arrival which was a nice suprise. Staff were courteous and provided a free map of Launceston, pointing out local attractions. It is a short walk to city centre, restaurants, cafes and the park.
Clean and close to the centre of town.”
Clean, large bathroom with spa was great. The room was a reasonable size with everything I needed to heat a meal and make a cuppa. I was able to walk to the centre of Launceston and all shops as well as work easily from my base at the Adina. My only criticism is the walls were a bit thin so I had to put up with a noisy neighbour for a night. Would stay here again, recommended.
i love the spa bath”
rooms are small but comfortable. love the spa bath
I had a very short stay at Adina, arriving at 10.30pm and leaving the next morning at 6am. When I realised I was going to arrive late, I called reception and the lady was very helpful. My door key was left in a safe box, and I was texted information on how to access it and drop it off the next morning. All very easy. The hotel is in a great location and the balconies have excellent views. The room facilities themselves seem a little dated, as it is a very old hotel. But I'd recommend it for the budget conscious traveller looking to stay in Launceston for a few days.
Pictures vs Actual - Caveat Emptor”
Pictures used when booking was made were different from reality. Need to manage expectations given how different pictures vs actual. The place was generally quite old, room was not as new as the one perceived in the photos. Some furniture were old & needs replacing (i.e. damaged/severe wear & tear), aircon didn't seem to be working (i.e. blades in compressor unit outside not working). Checked out within a couple hours upon check-in.
Great place for the last night before flying out of Tassie”
Stayed here for our last evening in Tasmania. We arrived in the late afternoon and found parking on site easily. The check in process was fuss-free and we were greeted with a smile and some information of the surrounding. The motel is walking distance to the city centre, Hogs Breath Cafe and the park. Great location to explore the city on feet. The room was clean and had a small balcony, but the lift was quite old.
We had a wonderful and pleasant stay at Adina Place. The staff was so friendly and helpful in every way. The view from the balcony was amazing and the bath was hugh. Very very happy stay in Adina. Kudos to the beautiful lady at the reception.
Clean apartment with spacious bath room”
A good apartment with good kitchen, comes with crockery, cutlery, pot and pans, an oven, microwave and hot plate stoves. Spacious enough for 4 ppl, though you can squeeze in the 5th one if need be. Plenty of car park. A few blocks from supermarket and restaurants withing walking distance. Only one air-con in the living room. Lucky it was cold during the night cuz of the rain a few days ago. But I think it's gonna be too hot for normal summer nights.
Ok hotel for one night”
This hotel was just ok. It was dated, and not very clean. Glad we only stayed for one night before leaving the next day, definitely would not want to stay any longer than this. There were some nice city views from the balcony though, and it's handy for families having two bedrooms and a kitchen. Launceston is a beautiful city, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
Very relaxing and very quiet.”
Very happy with it,had Visitors From Wales and they were very impressed with the layout of the Apartment. It was within walking distance to Hotels and Restaurants and we were able to have a lovely meal and not worry about driving back to the Motel.
Reasonable price in the Cradle Mountain area”
The hotel room has enough space and good for 6 ppl. The facilites is a little bit old. Given the price we spent, it is acceptable. No catering provided. Either you cook for yourself or go to the restaurants of other hotels nearby.
From the baconly you can look outside can see a good view. Only a few minutes walk you can go to the city centre. Shopping and dinning was so convinent also about five minutes drive you can go to Gorge, a beatuiful area for bush walk and sightseeing.
Older style property, but very well maintained”
We arrived late into Launceston Airport and had no difficulty finding the property. The Adina is an older style property, but very well maintained. The service on arrival was friendly and efficient, without being obtrusive. There is a lift to all floors, but you go out onto an external walkway to get to your room (a bit of a pain if the weather is bad). Although a little on the small side, the room had everything we needed, inlcuding an electric blanket and reverse cycle air conditioner. Our room had a lovely view over Launceston City. In the morning we took a stroll down to the Park and then on to the Mall for breakfast. All in all, we found the Adina to be a great stopover for our first night in Launceston.
Price was very good, and the location was excellent, very close to the Launceston city pedestrian mall. The front desk service was excellent, and the rooms very clean and tidy,. We had a car, so the fact that it was up a hill was not a problem, but might be a bit of a hike for those on foot.
My experience at Adina”
We were staying in Launceston, Adina Motel for 2 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. On arrival we met this elderly couple who were very warm & humble. They were relieving the actual owners for a holiday. My husband got a bit sick on the morning of the second day. We had to ask for their help & call the ambulance, was a day off P/H. Heather & Tim were both extremely helpful & kind & did everything they could to help me in that unknown place. Cannot thank them enough for all they did. They were there for us. The owners r very lucky to have such friends. The extremely friendly service & care is something I was taken by. Thanku to all of u for making our stay so comfortable & memorable.
The place was old and nothing like the pictures. Tatty exterior. Although it was clean, the receptionist more than helpful, and I had a view people should be aware of the discrepancy in the pictures.
Apartment with a nice view”
We could see the city from the balcony and really enjoyed the sunset view.
Comfortable and value for money”
Everything was good, could be better with free wifi. Would stay here again if i was going to visit Launceston again.
small rooms with a large spa. i like staying here
