Charming self-catering motel”

The Admiral Court is in a delightful spot on the Kaikoura peninsula. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the neighbouring restaurants were excellent. We spent several very relaxing days.

We had a wonderful overnight stay and would stay there again but for longer.Carla and Steve were so friendly and helpful, providing advice on local restaurants and things to do in Kaikoura. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing. Free Wifi for all our devices was excellent. The biggest and best shower on our 2 week trip in NZ!

Comfortable motel by the seaside”

Great spot to stay while passing through Kaikoura. Clean, comfortable rooms and close to plenty of eateries. Right by the sea and very friendly and helpful staff.

Met our basic necessities”

Good place to stay while in Kaikoura, kind of far off the beaten path but near a beautiful scenic hiking path. The town is small enough that everything is quite accessible. The unit is very basic, and the wifi signal was too weak to be useful. They have a washing machine, which was nice to clean our clothes.

Charming hosts and well managed motel”

We only stayed one night in a 2 bed unit, but were sorry that we didn't have more time. Steve and Carla are amazing hosts; very friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The one we stayed in does need a revamp, which we understand is happening soon. The motel is close to the local hotel, another good restaurant and the local fish BBQ caravan. This was a good find and the family was very happy, thank you.

Convenient and Comfortable”

Handy location with views towards the bay and mountains. Clean and modern. Very near the excellent Pier Hotel. Make sure you book a room with kitchen, there is a smaller room with basic facilities which would not be adequate.

Quiet location, walking distance to Restaurants”

Lovely quiet hotel. Rooms large, clean and modern. Large bathroom. Bbq area. Walk to Pier hotel. Parking directly outside room.

clean, friendly and peaceful”

The friendly welcome and the clean, well kept room was a good start. The location is out of the main town on the way to the seal colony. Easily walking to both. View over harbour to the mountains is astounding. Great walks around the shore and peninsula.

Close to ocean”

The stay is ok. There is good kitchen facility to cook. But there is bad smell in the toilet, there is also smell in the room maybe because of renovation. Right after check-out, we were refused to use toilet.
