Find hotels near Aewol in Jeju, South Korea

This hotel has a lot of potential - I can see where the developers want to take the hotel. It's not where it should be, maybe because Aewol is a rather quiet area in Jeju..? I don't know. But what I do know is that I liked the hotel because 1) the area is quiet 2) our room had sea view and had morning sun 3) the room is SPACIOUS. Seriously. 4) really comfy bed 5) nice sofa 6) spacious bathroom 7) really helpful front desk staff 8) the bulgogi at breakfast is YUMS 9) the pool is huge (note that this is prob avail only during summer and early autumn) 10)fast internet 11) English TV channels 12) half an hour drive to airport. Not too bad 13) the convenience store is a short drive away. won't go hungry! All said, I think this hotel has potential to do well. I'd probably go back for a quiet retreat if they don't increase prices...!

We stayed in this hotel for a short Trip to Jeju and did really like it. The staff could speak english and was very helpful and Kind. We Had a room with ocean view which was fantastic. You definitively need a rental car since tamna stay is pretty far from all the major Sites and its difficult to only use public transport on Jeju. The Pool was already shut down which ist the only disadvantage i can think of. Other than that beautiful hotel!

We were told that we are placed on the "new wing" of the hotel, which was just down the road of the main building. It was an apartment style hotel room, which was fine by us because the room was clean and had good essentials, and had a clearer view of the sea. Just a couple of minutes walk was a Starbucks and had a path where you can walk along the coast. However, I would imagine it would be a little difficult to get to without a car.

Stayed here for 2 nights; Aewol is a good location to many cafes and restaurants. To get to Aewol/hotel, one will get to drive pass the coastal area which is a beautiful sight. Hotel is located beside a famous BBQ restaurant and CU convenience store. Room comes with basic amenities and is clean. Big room. Unfortunately didn't get to use the bathtub due to time constraint. The receptionist, I believed is the owner spoke good english and was very hospitable. Overall a good stay.

This hotel was far greater than I expected overall. Staff: Very courteous and helpful. Location: It is 30 mins away from the Airport by car. Overall, it is hard to get around Jeju without a car, and I think this place was secluded enough but still convenient to get around. Lots of small restaurants and shops around the hotel. This is not in a touristy area, so you will need to drive around 15-20 minutes out to see other attractions, nonetheless it was a great peaceful/resortish place to stay at. It's nice to walk around, and hotel is right in front of the ocean. Room: Very clean and beautiful view. I was expecting more of a jacuzzi at the rooftop, but it was more like a fountain, shallow water high enough to wet your feet. We didn't contact the staff regarding it, they might've been able to fill it up more to be actually used as a pool/jacuzzi; but the weather was too cold anyways so we didn't mind. Breakfast: Buffet style breakfast. It was very delicious! They offer a great variety of items, from korean to western style. There was abalone porridge which was amazing! Parking: Plenty of parking for guests. Overall, I would definitely go back to Uni Hotel and recommend to anyone looking into this place :)

The staff at this hotel were some of the nicest Korean people I've come across. They put a real effort in to welcoming us in English and making us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotless and minimalist, which is a welcome change to most hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bath was huge and in its own separate room. The hotel looks down the hill to the ocean and is in a calm spot amongst large pine trees.

Service staffs tried their best to compensate the bad location we are in by helping us to call cab all the times and provide free raincoats during drizzling. It's not an ideal hotel to stay in if you are on a budget trip. We spent lots on cab fares back and forth daily. View was average. Pool was not well maintain and we couldn't bring outselves into the pool. Nothing much to explore around and it is more of a resort stay than hotel.

Firstly, there is no lift for this hotel/house so, if you are carrying big & heavy luggage, suggest you contact their staff before hand to request for a lower level stay. Secondly, there is some sort of problem with the bathroom, there is always a stench coming from it but it is bearable. Thirdly, the bed was not that comfortable but for the price you pay, i think it is still justifiable. This place is very difficult to travel via bus hence, a taxi is always required. The beautiful side of this is, this area is a very beautiful place and the smell of sea is just outside. Hence, a thumbs up to this! Walkable distance to have some local food (BBQ) and the uncle there is very friendly and chinese speaking. Nearby Aewol town (i don't remember the exact address), there are two very beautiful cafe. One of them are opened by G.D. (from BigBang) "the very black house cafe located on the top hill) and is a very wonderful place to visit. 10mins taxi ride. Lastly, the staff in Amber house are chinese speaking and they will help you to grab a taxi when you wish to go out. Have fun!

I would say the room was value for money since all facilities are complete such as water heater, aircond to use or not to, bathroom with tub, two huge beds, sea view, and many more. if you plan to just walk around aewol than its fine to stay here, but if u plan to go out form that area, this hotel is quite distance. we just walked around aewol and sightseeing, u can walk along the coastal road and enjoy the breeze. nothing much there, only nature. the receptionist called taxi for us, this place is 30mins from the city.

The only bus station nearest to Woorim Hotel is Hagwi Elementary School. There are several buses that can reach this stop.But it is time-consuming from the Airport and also Jeju bus terminal. After getting down from the bus, you have to go straight and turn right when you see a BBQ Chicken shop on your right side. Walk straight around 5-10 mins, then you will see a junction where the right side is heading down and the left side is going up. Take the left side one and walk straight. Then Woorim Hotel is on your left side.

I was here with my partner about a year ago during our Korea trip, didn't got around writing reviews for places until recently. but i could still remember clearly that this place is a hidden gem. Based on the outside, it already look picturesque. And the rooms were so spacious and clean. It was like a holiday log cabin, if you are looking for something different to stay apart from the boutique hotels and hotels, you should come here. It is also headed by a Korean host which is well versed in English. It's a guesthouse that provided warmth and hospitality. We were also treated to their breakfast which was a delicious butter bread baked daily with a cuppa of americano. It was the way to send us off from Jeju! Would like to thank the host for your hospitality and i would stay here again just to get away from the city area of Jeju.

The place is near by jejucity, 20min by bus from the airport. The place is quite and nice. The room was big and the beds were queen queen size. It was clean and quiet. some families, some groups of middle age people. The landlord is really friendly. She help us a lot like for rent the car, tips for travelling, etc. We met some of the guest and with the landlord we had a cup of homemade makkoli. When we left we remember we forget to take with us some shoes and tangerines. She kindly stored it till we picked it out. Next time I go back to Jejudo (this winter) I will stay at the same place.

We arrived around 8pm, there was no more buses and we were glad that we took a cab instead. The place was very far and the roads were dark. Fast check in, staff were very friendly and attentive, they even drove us to the nearest restaurant for our dinner, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Ours even had a great view of the ocean, and the wifi in the individual rooms were very fast. But if you want to go out in the middle of the night, you can use the torch light provided in the rooms, after midnight they switch off all the lights in the corridors and lobby. There is a conveniences store nearby, about 10mins walk. The breakfast was very simple Korean home cooked food, buffet style. Before we left for sightseeing, the staff even gave us tourist attractions map. The only con is that it was very far from the main attractions and the hotel is far from the bus station. Besides that we had a great stay.

We spent three pleasant days at Baghdad Pension. The room is big and cosy, the owners do their best to make you feel confortable (eg. we asked for additional blankets - no problem, they told us their home is our home;-). The house is situated in a beautiful surrounding with garden and mountain view. The breakfast is the best we had in South Korea. Former reviews say that the location is maybe a litte bit too remote, but we didn't feel this way. There are two bus stations not far away; nevertheless we recommend to rent a car. In general this is very recommendable for Jeju anyway. The owners gave us helpful recommendation what to do in Jeju, where to find the next supermarket etc. Next time we go to Jeju we will definitely stay again at Baghdad Pension. Hopefully at that time they will have opened their planned Indian/Nepalese Restaurant on the spot;-). Take care sister and brother;-)

Wasn't a very good check-in due to the admin/owner wasn't around when we first arrived. Didn't know what to do till we found out that our room was ready and left open for us to go in by ourselves. Apart from this incident, the stay was good, room was clean and spacious and most importantly not too far away from city area. It has very nice beach front location and along a beautiful coastal road.

Pros- nice view, clean place, big place The staff was very helpful, always answers my question through the message box from agoda Can cook inside the room.. the utensils are supplied by the hotel Con- far from city you have to take taxi to go anywhere... For non Muslim there's a restaurant to eat For the muslim traveler maybe you can prepare you food in advance as there is not so many choices from the convenient store..
