Great hotel”
The hotel is in an excellent location - just 10 minutes from the medina and right in front of a beautiful beach. Staff were really professsional and helpful. The whole place feels very upmarket and posh and it was a great surprise that they also organise a free walking tour to the medina!! There were four of us and we absolutely enjoyed our stay there. We also had a room facing the sea with a balcony and it was worth the slightly extra that we paid for. I would strongly recommend the hotel.

One of the best beds I have ever slept in”
This was the most expensive hotel of my holiday and the only one that had no wifi in the room. It is indeed a luxury hotel with great beds, good shower and tastefully decorated room. I found the reception desk to be brusque and in some ways unhelpful. She was going to charge me for the room but I had already paid through Agoda. There is a huge outdoor pool but with the temperature and constant wind I wondered how comfortable it would be to swim or sun. I decided that I could not eat enough food to justify spending 180 MAD for breakfast. I went into the Medina, 5 minute walk, and ate at a sidewalk cafe for 35 MAD as I people watched. However I had room service dinner, a penne with garlic and basil, that was amazing and not expensive. I only booked because there was a good price on Agoda but I am glad I stayed.

Great Hotel, great Location”
a great hotel, within 5 minute walking distance from the medina and 1 minute walk to the beach. this hotel provides a section of the beach reserved, also supply's pool towels. great rooms, beautifully decorated. staff are friendly, warm and always smiling. you are never looking for a staff member, when you need one for either advice, or help or even a drink. pool area is great with a selection of sunbeds. food is of a high standard.

Nice hotel in need of a little sprucing up”
This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Medina with some rooms looking over the sandy bay and harbour. The room was of a good size, everything worked, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The balcony was just a bit too narrow, and perhaps there should have been some screening so those sitting out on one balcony did not feel in the laps of those on the next. The staff were all good, but our experience was marred by the breakfast buffet that was very poor in some areas: processed meats, processed cheeses, a beetroot dish that had clearly been brought out for several days, as when I finally took it, it was fizzing! Worst of all freshly squeezed orange juice that had been watered down. Breakfast should set you up for the day, but I left breakfast here wishing I hadn't bothered.

Hotel was very nice, went there during the ramadan so its was quiet, food was very good, pool and staff are nice, room very modern and luxuous, very view from the terasse. Bad side is far from the action, have to take a cab everywhere you go or walk a good hour on the beach

good: location, big simming pool, service of staff bad: poor air conditioner, need to open window to cool down temperature. Even though hotel staff help us to repair it several times, it is still no improvement. ittle bit old , water in swimming pool is very cold. if you want to swim in warm water, you only go to another swimming pool from 7pm to 9pm.

Un hôtel à la hauteur de ses étoiles”
C’est un très bel hôtel, à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles français. C’est l’ancien Sofitel de la ville (un nouveau à ouvert ailleurs), l’hôtel est toujours de la chaine Accord. Les locaux ne le connaissent pas sous le nom de Mgallery, donc pensez à demander où se trouve soit l’ancien Sofitel, soit le Medina hôtel. La piscine est chauffée à 25°. Tout le service, équipement de chambre et confort est conforme à un hôtel 4° français.

Accueil chaleureux et personnel disponible a tout moment.L'époque du passage et la saison ne se prêtaient ni au sport ni aux distractions, on peut cependant s'imaginer qu'en pleine saison, cet hôtel notemment avec son équipement de thalasso et le golf superbe à proximité soit une destination à privilégier! La Médina d'Essaouira s'oppose à celle de Marrakech par son calme et sa grande propreté, en revanche, la nuit venue, les distractions sont rares pour les noctambules .. du moins au mois de novembre!
