Amazing place with professonal and warm owners”

First of all I want to say that La Digue it self is an amazing place. And you need at least a week to fully enjoy the Island as we did. It's perfect for the active holidays, we loved walking, cycling and so on. Regarding Oceane self catering I can say only the warmest words. The place is nice, tidy, clean, decent size air conditioned apartments. The kitchen is well equipped as well, we loved cooking the fish we caught. But Melton is doing an amazing dinner to. We had 4 course meal, all was great and big portions. The sailfish was simply amazing. Price for dinner is good value for what you get. We left the La Digue being sure that we will be back. And Oceane self catering will be my first choice for the stay. You can get the bikes in a place and Melton will arrange anything you need. Important thing is that apartments are 5-10min walking distance from the jetty. Everything was simply perfect and advice for everyone - choose more time to spent in La Digue and less in Mahe and Praslin. Melton and Coleen, once again, thank you for the great stay

Great self-catering apartment - very nice”

Great stay at Oceane self catering. Marie is extremely friendly and helpful and will do her best to help with any help or information you need. The apartment and the surrounding garden are very thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. It's a great place to stay if you want to be near the port, and the main shops and restaurants on La Digue. Bike hire can be arranged and it's easy to get anywhere on the island from here.

Wonderful Stay!”

We had a very nice stay at Oceane Self-Catering! It's very close to town, the jetty, and many beaches, but it's tucked away in a quiet residential area. It's an excellent choice for active types who will spend most of the day exploring the island and prefer quiet dinners and relaxation (and a dip in the cool jacuzzi)in the evenings. The room was large and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The website says that there is wi-fi in the rooms, but it's not as straightforward as that - there's a system of using a USB key and loading money onto a SIM card. So, if you need to stay connected through your stay, be aware of that. We were able to rent bikes from her neighbor and we found more than enough to sustain ourselves in the nearby grocery stores. We read that the nightclub just behind the house could be very noisy, but we stayed on a Friday night and heard nothing from our room! Overall, we found Oceane to be a great value, which can be hard to find in the Seychelles.

Excellent place”

First and foremost, the place is very optimally located, just 200 meters from the Jetty in La Digue. You can walk down to it from the jetty unlike several other places where you may need to ask the guesthouse owner to send a vehicle to pick you up (There are no taxis or busses in La Digue). The room was extremely beautiful and spacious. It had two rooms, huge bathroom, kitchen and a dining table outside in verrandah. There were mango and star fruit trees in the compound and the owner was kind enough to let us pluck and help ourselves whenever we wanted. Kitchen had almost every kind of cutlery and tool which you use at your own home. Plus it had a grill oven, a microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, gas stove and two refrigerators. The bathroom had a bath tub while the common area had a small pool. The place is very aesthetically decorated with sea shells and stones from the sea. The guesthouse owner Melton, rents out bicycles. However if you intend to rent for longer duration then outside in the market you may get better rates. Melton's brother conducts some of the best snorkelling trips in La Digue and you don't need to search much on the island in case you are looking forward to it.

Amazing budget place”

I stayed just for a night for a quick visit at La Digue island and I must say I couldn't expect anything better from this self-catering accommodation. Clean, spacious, friendly and helpful ownership, jacuzzi in the room and outside in the garden. It was even possible to have a bbq in the garden. Simply great value!

Beautiful place on beautiful island”

Me and my husband spent 2 nights in this place. We liked every second of it. Room is decorated very nicely, with great taste, beautiful candles, curtains. Unbelievably clean. There is a kitchen outside, with all necessary in it. Beautiful garden, which is taken really really great care, with nice statues and plants. Very cosy outside sitting area. Location is great also. Just next to the jetty, opposite petrol station. Shops, restaurants are nearby, even though on La Digue distance doesnt matter I would like to thank the staff, very caring and helpful. I would definetly recommend the place!

Nice accomodation in good location in La Digue”

Very nice accomodation in a very good location near the jetty in La Digue. As a negative thing, the place is announced to be self catering and the first day we were given a room with no kitchen. The next day we were however moved to a different room with access to kitchen.

Exceptional”

Very very nice owner, gave us a lot of usefull information. Room is big, verything is good. Location is good, near the ferry so you don't need to walk a long way with luggage. And you can hire bike from owner, we hired two and both of them are new and in good condition. By the way, LaDigue is too too too beatuful! Don't hestitate to spend most of your time in this small island! I was so regret to stay only two nights here.

Comfortable, romantic and beuatifully decorated.”

We stayed in the villa 10 min bike ride from La Passe and a small road/path from the main road. The villa was amazing in terms of comfort, romantic feeling and decorations. Large bedroom and bathroom that are nicely decorated and give a feeling of a private home! The bed has comfy duvet or single sheet if you prefer that. The kitchen has everything you need for simple cooking. Sitting on the therasse in front of the villa in the evenings is amazing... It's dark but there are lots of candles! Comfy sofa. The only negative could be the neighbor's dogs that might bark at times, but nothing to worry too much about. It shall be mentioned that if you want to go for dinner, you should bring a torch or use you mobile in the darkness and be careful. If you want to have nice dinner, Ville Autentic is recommended, but be aware of the waiting time for the food! We had the best food in our two weeks stay in the Seychelles here! Jules, who helped us at our stay here (also works at Authentic Villa as a chef) forgot (?) to arrange for our pick-up to the jetty on the day of departure, or if the "taxi"-driver forgot about it. Be clear about all arrangements, Jules seems to have a bit to much of work, or if they were short of staff on our stay. He was very helpful though so no hard feelings!

Great place! ”

Great location, great room, great stuff. We have been there for 7 nights and it was the best place in our vacation in the Seychelles. Not a big crowded hotel, but small and comfortable. Very nice!

Just 2 weeks before date of arrival we were requested to reallocate”

We booked a familyroom but were reallocated to an alternative guesthouse. This is why we can't judge and advise about the quality of Oceane Self Catering (OSC). We were reallocated because of overbooking and the management system didn't recognize it, or at least the manager didn't tell us up to 2 weeks before the arrival date. This was what we really felt upset about because we booked OSC already in early september (about 8 months before date of arrival). The manager let us know that it was because of temporary management from april till september 2017 in which period there were made many mistakes for which nobody could blamed for (?). His management buisiness took over in september 2017 and didn't see the mistakes earlier. With OSC, we booked B&B. The manager offered us half board at the reallocation guesthouse which was neet. However no other alternatives were being offered. So we felt we didn't have much choice. Eventually we had a nice stay at Villa Authentique.

Beautiful garden and room for a great price.”

We loved our stay at Oceane's. For the price, the quality cannot be beat. The room and garden were beautifully furnished. The small pool was great for the children too. The common kitchen is well equipped but we wish it would have been a bit closer to our room. Thankfully, we had a fridge in the room. Some rooms had their own outdoor kitchens so we'll be sure to book one of those next time. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A tiny bit more attention from the cleaning staff could prevent future patrons from chasing them for a roll of toilet paper or a bed sheet but other than that, our room was cleaned well everyday. The location was nice; we walked to the jetty, walked to small convenience stores and some restaurants. Walking to the closest beach in the heat was not fun and a bit long. Bikes were much appreciated to reach the beach and bring back groceries. We would definitely book a room again at Oceane's and thank the staff who made this vacation so pleasant.

nice place, but no services at all”

We booked a suite and only got a room, and we had to use the kitchen facilities shared with another room, at the back of th building. Other rooms all seem to have their own kitchen, as i wanted. Disapointed i didn t get the suite; for the high price paid. Service non existant. Staff simply non interested in your demandas (except for renting bikes, wiche you can find everywhere). Otherwise, the place and the rooms are really nice. Be carefeull if you plan to stay during the weekend, as there is a big outdoor disco, very noisy, 10 meters from the rooms.

Really kind and helpful owners. They helped organize everything we ever needed. Clean room, big bathroom and own private terrace to relax. Highly recommend!

I almost forgot to share my experience in here... This is really a wonderful place! Housekeeper is very nice person. I booked twice in accident, but they didn't re-charge money for my credit card. I am really appreciated that!!! Hope you like my little gift :)

Lovely staying at Marie's place”

We stayed six nights at Marie's place. She has been lovely and helpful, with tips and small everyday attentions that made everything perfect. The place is clean and cosy, minutes away from the small deck and village's heart. Handy to beaches and ferry.

Trochę na uboczu. Pokój nie był duży, ale czysty z dużą łazienką. Bardzo przyjazny i pomocny Manager hotelu., Benny. Najlepszy internet z WIFI jaki mieliśmy okazję na Seszelach testować. Taras z otwartą kuchnią i wygodnymi "poduchami" był super.

A SMALL NICE GUESTHOUSE”

Rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean. Very close to the Jetty, easily walkable distance. The near-by restaurant had a very noisy party until 3am
