KOWIE RIVER GUEST HOUSE is the place to be , nice , peaceful , clean , beauty. It is the best if not the best place to stay in Port Alfred. I will definitely come back. lets all come and visit Kowie River Guest House

The room had a nice verandah with a lovely view over the river. Room really nicely appointed, even has a microwave, fridge and small braai if you are self catering. The owner was very helpful and suggested an evening stroll to a local restaurant on the river, which we enjoyed.

Fabulous charming beautifully decorated guest house.”
We loved Kowie River Guest House. It is beautifully decorated and situated right on the water. The rooms are large and open on to a lovely private patio area overlooking the yard and pool with the river just beyond. The centre of town and restaurants are walking distance. The owner, Ditte is absolutely charming and very informative. And helpful. The breakfast in a beautiful outdoor setting by the pool was perfection. We loved our stay and hope to get back. I would highly recommend Kowie River Guest House to anyone planning to stay in Port Alfred.

A dreamy time in a lovely location..”
Our first time in Port Alfred, and we fell lucky in our choice of Accomodation. The Kowie River Guest House proved to be all we could have wished for. The entire place beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, well equipped rooms, of good size. The Hosts are lovely people, and the breakfasts, served by Dale, the barefoot Chef, were probably the bestwe have ever been served in all of Africa, America, Asia and Europe. Lots to do, and fishing and hoating opportunities galore. Try it!
