Only complaint would be they don’t let outside food into the pool area, but also do not allow the room service menu. The only choice is the limited pool menu.

Everything and everyone of the staff were Excellent. I would only suggest sofa or seats in lobby as I was not able to use my wifi in hotel seated in lobby to casually communicate.

Pros - Clean, organized, impressive look of the hotel and facilities, gym was like Fitness First, everything was okay specially the buffet lots of choices. Cons - TV was old and channels are few, other channels are blurred.

Not recommended for smokers”
Agoda lists some room-types as non-smoking, implying that in the remaining rooms smoking is allowed (which was actually the case on my previous stays). Much to my surprise, the hotel is now 100 percent smoke-free. They send you to an ugly outside smoking area, where you don’t need a cigarette but can freely inhale the heavily polluted air of the traffic-stricken Malate area (to cause the pollution equivalent of one Jeepney you would need 1000 smokers). For non-smokers, the hotel is ok, though. Spacious rooms, good breakfast, 25m swimming pool. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Of course, the rather rude and partly seedy Malate area is not everybody’s preference. So basically my complaint is about the info I got from Agoda, making me believe to book a smoking room and actually ending up in a non-smoking hotel, with the consequence that we moved out after the first night, thus loosing the money for the planned second night.

especially the roulette game was too embarrassing when the dealers were forced to ask for too many ”
I have loved the New World Hotel for a long time. I'm disappointed with this business trip. 1- (Belboy requires tip) 2- (Counter employees' unkindness) 3- (Sanasil). Especially, the showering room is too dirty. 4- (I think we need to train Casino dealers.) (especially the roulette game was too embarrassing when the dealers were forced to ask for too many tips and plays with Japanese Bassle.) My favorite New World hotel was a mess on this business trip.

A 5 star property, No But clean and decent and the people make up for all the short comings/ I don't think they've spent much to update since taking over from Hyatt but it's a decent place to stay for a short time. And the two Restaurants Lili fo Chinese and the Fireplace for beef are really quite nice.

Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to assist guests. Richard Reyes (Valet attendant and Ria (housekeeping on the 29th Floor) are commendable and should be recognized for their attentive and willingness to make the guests happy.

This Hotel has been my best place to stay during my Business meetings in Manila and I visit 3-4 times a year this Hotel since year 2014 till date and never got disappointed . I recommend this Hotel to all tourists/ visitors / Businessmen. Only I would love to see if this Hotel provides HALAL B'fast would be very nice. This is my suggestion to this Hotel.

Immediately became sl as ram et d on arrival Lots ok f street kids and pimps outside hotel It's a casino and several shifty looking people around late a night Swimming pool was closed when I as arrived, apparently a window from one of the rooms fell into the pool!! Says a lot for mainrance!
