Lovely B & B a real home away from home”
We stayed at Aggie's on our way to Stanley to attend a family wedding. Our daughter and son in law came from the UK and are very experienced 5 star travelers they loved Aggie's it was comfortable, clean and homely the breakfast was fabulous. I would definatley recommend Aggie's for overseas travelers who would like to experience life in an Australian home. Actually I would recommend Aggie's for most people, couples and families it is easy to get to by car and Margaret the owner gave lots of suggestions for sightseeing which we enjoyed.
Lovely tucked away B&B”
Aggie's BB is a delight. Our hosts Margaret & John were very friendly & welcoming. We stayed in the Garden Room which opens out onto a lovely courtyard & with the doors open, you feel you are bringing the outside in. Our room was lovely with everything you could ask for. Lovely décor & colour scheme. Bed was very comfortable & the shower was great- both these make such a difference! Little kitchenette on hand, so we got some provisions & had our dinner here. Margaret cooked a lovely breakfast (perfectly poached eggs!) which was served in the house dining room. Lovely gardens surrounding us & very peaceful. Would highly recommend. Thank you Margaret!
Delightful stay and hosts ”
Home away from home in lovely, quiet surroundings. Very comfortable and well kept bedroom and bathroom facilities. Delicious home cooked breakfast in the main house. Thank you Margaret we had a lovely overnight stay in Longford.
Very good”
I will use aggie's bed and breakfast again
Most comfortable bed in Tassie in the cutest room.”
Even though Aggies is out of Launceston, it is just as close to the airport as the inner city, and in such a picturesque historical town, that I would highly recommend a stay here. The rooms have absolutely every comfort imaginable, and the bed is a dream to sleep on. The grounds are beautifully groomed and roses and other flowers abound. Our own private courtyard was an ideal place to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the white fantail pigeons cooing in the backyard. Whilst here you can visit the historical rose gardens nearby and enjoy the lush "English style" countryside. Margaret is charming and the lovely cooked breakfast included her own homemade preserves and jams - a real treat!
Great Accommondation with Lovely Breakfast & Garden”
Everything is so GREAT. The host, Margaret, is so passionate, thoughtful, and also an awesome cook. You can feel it through the comfy bed & towels, meticulous decoration, welcome cheese platter etc. There are also wifi, washing machine and an amazing garden. Do NOT miss the breakfast (latest at 8:30am) - eggs are from its own hens! Definitely the best breakfast I ever had in my trip. We didn’t have the chance to go to the lavender’s farm, yet Margaret was so sweet that she got us a little lovely bunch of lavender from her garden:) This is such a wonderful experience that I wish I could stay longer... Thank you Margaret!
Comfortable and easy”
The people who run Aggies B/B are lovely friendly people who gave us privacy and cooked us a superb breakfast. It was in a lovely garden surrounding. We were very warm and had all the things we needed in the room. The furnishings were good quality. The bed was very comfortable. It was close to Town and we were given good advice on where to go out and eat that night. I will stay there again if I was to go into that part of Tasmania again.
Exceptional”
Only minutes from the Launceston Airport , we arrived around Dinner time & were chaufered into town & shown a few options of places to Dine . Even offered to come & pick us up after dinner but it was such a quaint village that we decided to have a walk . Breakfast had many options & we were treated like part of the family. After breakfast we were taken to pick up our Camper Van then returned to pack , we found a few things broken inside the Camper & were even offered help to repair the little things we could fix ! Can't recommend Aggies high enough , you will love the Cottage & the Village og Lonford .
Excellent”
were very friendly. We felt like very special guests. They were gentle and caring. We must congratulate them as they proved us that they are 100% rating B & B just like what we read in the review by other guests. We like the two rooms we stayed. Thanks you. I hope to bring my family the next trip.
....”
This was a lovely home stay attached to the main house....great breakfast, lovely warm, light room, very good bed, near to eating out, but not many choices on a Tue night.
Tasmanian hospitality at its best”
Beyond the norm for any given B & B. Our room was a converted woodshed! Yes indeed, but we could have stayed there for a month quite happily! Every conceivable little device was provided for, bed warmer, wash machine, fridge with a welcome cheese platter, plus all the usual tidbits. In summary, BRILLIANT!
One of the best B&B in Tasmania”
Very good indeed. I have booked two rooms in this B&B and both rooms are very clean, tidy, cosy and warm. Both have nice backyard gardens that you can enjoy sunshine and birds singing. And you may see loads of stars at night time at the garden. The owner is a very nice old lady and she prepared good breakfast as well, with both veggies and eggs taken from her backyard mini farm.

Last night before flying out from Launceston airport ”
Being 15 mins easy drive to Launceston airport, we chose to stay here due to the ealy-ish flight next morning. What a really great place to stay. Extremely well set up with everything needed for a quick stopover...absolutely beautiful touches everywhere. Decorated in a kind of french provincial style, whites and creams with touches of red. There was even a washing machine in the good size bathroom. We were in the garden cottage away from main house in really lovely garden ...chooks and veges etc. Breakfast was such a treat in the morning. Such a great place with lovely hospitality.
Charming Bed and Breakfast”
Margaret and John are lovely, friendly hosts and very welcoming. We stayed in the garden cottage the first and last night of our Tasmanian holiday because of its close proximity to the airport. On both occasions we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, thoroughly spoilt with fresh fruits and home stewed plums along with poached eggs cooked to perfection. Our accommodation was clean and beautifully decorated and had all we needed for an enjoyable stay. We even received cheese, biscuits and strawberries for 2 on arrival. A charming place to stay! Would highly recommend.
Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, friendly owner.”
Gorgeous room for my family of three. Fantastics to find a B and B that will accommodate a child as well. Simply stylish rooms and garden in a quiet location not far from airport, with space to read and wander outside. A lovely owner who cooked a great breakfast with loads of choice. Definitely will stay at Aggies again.
Wonderful B&B”
A very comfortable stay with friendly hosts. Tastefully decorated country style room with many extra touches. The great breakfast included mainly Tasmania produce. Almost like home - you can wander in the lovely garden and see the produce growing that you will eat! Close to the historic local attractions and pleasant countryside.
Wish I'd been able to stay longer”
Loved everything at Aggies B&B. Stayed in the garden room which was clean and really well equipped. A full breakfast (cereal, fresh poached fruit, yoghurt, followed by eggs etc toast and tea/coffee was in the dining area of the host's kitchen using eggs and fresh ingredients from the hosts' garden. Highly recommended
The perfect little place”
You are firstly impressed by the lovely gardens and then the more than comfortable accommodation with little touches that made it that extra bit special. There was also the tasty welcome platter in the fridge and hosts that couldn’t do enough to make your stay easy and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked with local and homemade produce - delicious.
