Overlooking mountains and lakes, the 5-star Aghadoe Heights Hotel is 2 miles from Killarney town centre. It offers an indoor pool, an award-winning restaurant, and transfers from Kerry Airport. The air-conditioned rooms at the Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa feature separate baths and walk-in showers. There is also free Wi-Fi, mini-bars and some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. The Spa at Aghadoe looks out over the Kerry countryside and offers a range of treatments. There is also a hot tub, steam room and a mini-gym. The Lake Room Restaurant serves fine European cuisine and has a glass-walled wine cellar in the centre of the restaurant. Poor start, excellent finish! ”
Upon arrival our room was very cold and it was reported to reception. It took a few calls and a long period of time before the situation was resolved (we had a very young baby with us). A very pleasant young lady at reception finally arranged an alternative room for us and this was a lovely cosy room. Restaurant and lounge staff were brilliant. Food at the restaurant was gorgeous. Hotel and spa area looked wonderful (but we didn't get the chance to use them). Although very disappointed with issues re. our first room and the length of time that it took to fix them, I'd still highly recommend this hotel. It's beautiful.
