About the recepcionist”
I feel injured, the recepcionist, doesnt let me sleep, this is a sexual assualt, im thinking of him all night, this is not a place for a solo men traveler
Overall stay was quite okay”
This is the second or third time I stay here overall stay was okay. I'm still giving 5 star for everything, however there are still room to improve on the hygiene, I still can see cockroach at the corridor and some bad smell on the basin. I hope this is not a negative comment, but rather it is a feedback to improve. but still it is good to stay here.
I booked this hotle in aggoda payment pay in 7/11 I go this hotle very bad experience. This not hotle this hostle no have ac 20 room 1 ac conction in 20 room I pay money but I no stay I return go other hotels
Never encountered worst hostel ”
The air conditioning is weak and is not inside the rooms, is so hot and I can not sleep, kuala lumpur es very hot city, the electricity outlet plug is complicated on purpose to buy an adaptor the hostal sell, they rent the towels, the washrooms its a total chaos. Never ever I will use that hostal, prefer to sleep on the streets
This is my sixth time at Agosto”
With all of the options open to me, you would think that I would try a few other places. And I have. But I really like the feeling at Agosto. I've been here at least five times before and I keep coming back. What does that tell you?
A very good hostels for solo traveler, I love the bed with the curtain. You get your own privacy with a small light. So you don't disturb other people. The only setback was there was no proper dining table and the kitchen wasn't set up properly. And oh ya, the stairs! If you hate climbing stairs, forget it. It's too steep and there was no rail for you to hold ...
Very good ”
This hostel is very close to many famous places in town, beside the mrt, bus station take about 5-7 minute walking. Staff is friendly, they always help whatever i asked them for. Cozy room, but one thing i didn't like is the air conditioner is near the bathroom , everytime i took a bath and step outside , i just like frozen my whole body .
Good place for a week or so”
I like Agosto and I've come back a few times. Good value for the money. It delivers everything it promises. There are only a few drawbacks, but they are not showstoppers by any means. The mattress is thin so your hip will dig into the plywood a bit. The stairs are narrow so it is always a hassle to put your shoes on and still give others the right of way. But these are minor when you consider the price. I will come back again, I'm sure.
Definitely value for money for the single room”
I got the single room, which was awesome; there was enough space the bathrooms were clean and the staff was super friendly. There were only two downsides, my room was closest to the road and the noise from the road was bit annoying, and despite them having coffee making and other pantry facilities available they do not have a water dispenser in the hotel; and you mind end up taking a trip to the 7/11 downstairs ( super convenient though) in the middle of the night.
Comfortable, clean and spacious place”
Very well located, easy to walk from there or to get transport to everywhere in KL. The dorms are confortable and spacious. There is common areas to relax and socialize. Clean and hygienic toilets. Helpfull staff. I would come back here again. Just a small detail, kitchen could have more facilities, like microwave and something to cook, but it's still ok
Amazing place. Plenty of food around the area, right next to a convenient store, a few steps away from a major bus hub and train station. Overall, it’s very easily accessible on foot and by public transport, right in the center of the city. Really friendly staff too! Cons: the hot water on the second floor was hard to adjust. It’s either too hot or too cold, but no biggies. I would definitely stay here again.
very nice clean helpful hostel ”
A nice cheap hostel near the tourist area of KL, train to & from airport near by, so also means train to other local attractions the free bus runs near by as well purple line. Food & shops near by. Sitting area. For hostel clean curtains in dorm beds. Staff helpful & speek English. For the price hard to beat.
really nice hostel, would come back here again”
stayed for half a day here, dorms are really cozy, bed places with curtains. towels were provided, wifi was good, nice and helpful staff. the only surprice was to pay additional 3rm tax, which was never paid in other hostels in KL
A small place to sleep in the heart of chinatown KL”
Basically one mattress on the floor and a bathroom. Just the basics you need for a short stay in chinatown. The cheapest GH we found but it was ok. Don't forget your towel, soap, shampoo etc as nothing is provided.
The Staff is unfriendly”
Overall, this hotel is worth to stay but just the Bangladesh or Pakistan staff is unfriendly. That staff on duty that time is like I owe him million dollar. I think he only shown his face to local Malaysian and so polite when served those guest who are from western country, white people.
Location is good”
I stayed here just for a night literally just to sleep. This hostel is in the heart of Chinatown the location is perfect to those who wanted to walk towards train station. everything is good but the toilet is not clean. And the locker even though they give key the locker is broken cannot lock.
Since we were leaving for Taman Negara we booked a private room as the pickup place was closeby. It was very basic, not much space in the room, bathroom/toilet very small as well. Towels were not included, not that we mind the 3 ringit cost, just include it in the price in stead of scraping out the basics. There was a common area where people were hanging out. Probably a good place for hostel croud. Nice bar next door.
Value for money!”
Value for money! I stayed for two nights here and location was really good. It was located at the chinatown and just 3 minutes walk from Pasar Seni LRT Station. Facilities were excellent, there's a free coffee/tea, you can watch tv or dvd at the living room. There's a fridge where you can keep your food/drinks. You can borrow utensils and eat at the dining, (just make sure you wash your own dishes). Toilets and rooms were clean. Staffs were nice and polite! Very good!
Friendly staff, convenient location”
The hostel is just around the corner behind Chinatown. Less than 5 min will bring you to the bustling night scene. Awesome service!!!! Owner will recommend you places to explore. Clean facilities, awesome crowd, good for backpackers, solo travellers and even families. :D
