Really Great Experience”
Our host was really gracious during the time of our stay. She is really great and helped us every step of the day. She even managed to do our tours booking and helped in our transfer from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff good value”
This is a budget hotel, 1 star accommodation with 5 star staff. The staff did everything they could to help us throughout our stay including carrying bags on to the main road for us to find a taxi and even babysitting for our young children. The room (family room) 2 double beds, was very spacious and had good air conditioning, a big TV with international channels and s fridge. The location is great, in the heart of the back packer area but only a short walk from the major sights. We had a great time and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, mostly down to the helpful and polite staff and excellent value for money.

A nice little hotel”
We had a great time staying at this hotel. We booked the family room on the second floor and it was really spacious for a family of 4 with a one-year old child! Our rooms, and everything in the hotel were kept clean and in order. The staff were really friendly, especially their receptionist (too bad I forgot his name!). Anyway, he helped us with everything, from booking our tours to looking for taxis (for 30 minutes at one point!) to saying NO to taxi drivers with extortionate prices! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Saigon. It's good value for money!

In the heart of it”
5 story hotel with stairs in a back alley/way. Cycle passage but not taxis, but not far from the main road. To be expected at these small 'family run' hotel. Also to be expected in the heart of the city, smaller spaced comfortable rooms. Wifi is adequate unless you stream movies then it's slightly slow to slow. There does seem to be one english speaking staff, so you have to be a decent mime and speak in short phrases. She was there when we checked in but gone when we checked out. Didn't have any problems at all with the breakfast, room, staff...location is good, you're in the Pham ML area-restaurants, food stands, street market, convenience shops/'7/11' ..., We would stay again if we didn't have too many bags to heft up those stairwells. We had one of those moments where we came in at nite after a hot, bumpy 9 hr bus ride in one of their monsoon rain shower, got dumped at the side of the road on PML stree, got a taxi to help us with our bags for 2 blocks, rolled everything helter skelter down the alley way to a similar named hotel next door and tried to check in, then checked in to the right one and found we're on the 4th floor. Lugged our smaller heavy bags up, nearly killing our selves, then had to rest in a big way. Then heard the chatter of the two small women staff huffing and puffing up, lugging our biggest bag, it was all so hilarious in a mad kind of way, we just lost it in laughing hysterics. Thank you ladies, that was a sweet finish to the day!

Great location & excellent staff”
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Quoc Minh Hotel, great value for money and staff is so helpful and accommodating. Location was a gem - park at one side, market at the other, plus dozens of great stores all around. Would definitely stay there next time we are in HCM!

noteworthy service and hospitality”
Initially chose this hotel because they had a room that can fit the six of us in spacious beds (in a spacious room). Mr. Thomas is a bubbly host, he showed us how to get around Saigon with a map in hand on the night we arrived and had more light conversations. Good breakfast! I miss the strawberry jam spread on a soft & flaky baguette partnered with an authentic Vietnamese iced coffee milk! Hot water, towels, safety locker provided. You can also exchange your USDs, VNDs, and even PHPs with him! They also accept credit cards. We also booked our bus to Siem Reap via Mekong Express through the hotel. Minor issue: weird smell that we think comes from the drainage in the bathroom.

Good location with friendly staff”
The staff helped us to book a 2-day Mekong Delta tour which was good. Only regret about the tour was that we took recommendations from the staff to stay in a homestay while all other people in our tour bus went to hotels which was US$10 cheaper per person. It turned out that the home-stay we got just a hut with no air-conditioning, no hot water, etc. We were expecting to interact with a local family and to learn their culture, but unfortunately this was a large 'home-stay' business with about 21 huts, so there was no family contact whatsoever.

Great location good breakfast ”
3 of us got the triple room with balcony. Enough space and the balcony was huge. Right in the middle of district 1 down an alley way. Staff was friendly and nice and breakfast was good.

Nice stay in this basic but likeable hotel. The room is spacious and clean and the staff are lovely, helpful and very fun! The price is one of the cheapest you can find in this area and undoubtedly worth what you pay

Great location, friendly host”
Room is very clean (they cleaned it daily). Although there is no lift, however the nice and friendly host and the strategic location of this hotel, compensate the hassle of climbing the stairs. There are many eatery places, convenience store, and tour agency around this area. Special mention and thanks to the host,Mr Tu, who had been very nice and accomodating to us during our stay. The breakfast served were nice (you can choose from the menu). He even packed the breakfast for us on one of the morning when we didn't manage to have our breakfast, as we need to catch our tour group (8 am). Will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting HCM.

Definitely value for money”
A group of 5 friends and I stayed for 1 night We arrived early so our room wasnt ready yet, but the host was very friendly and recommended places to go and things to do while we wait. He was extremely helpful in answering all our queries, and an absolute delight to chat with. Even helped us book a taxi for us the next morning when we needed to rush for a train. Since we left before they started serving breakfast, they packed ours to go so we could eat it on our train ride! Room is definitely value for money. Toilet door is slightly translucent so can be tricky when travelling with a huge group like ours. Other than that, a positive experience overall. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget, looking for somewhere for a quick stay in HCMC.

Clean and cheap hotel, amazing staff! ”
Nice staff, clean room and facilities. Only downside : there is no elevator but for the price and the size of the hotel you can't really ask for more.

Recommended hotel to stay”
The owner of the hotel is very friendly. Can exchange money in this hotel so very convenient. The tour package offered by them is also reasonable. Quiet place to stay in Pham Ngu Lao St compared to Bui Ven St. Walking distance to the street bars and stalls. Many nice food stalls around this hotel. Very near to the Catholic Huyen Sy church for Mass. It is recommended to stay here.

Location is very good ”
We stayed for four nights. The Staffs are nice and pleasant. The room is quite big, bed is large and bathroom is clean. Wifi is working and fast. But it has no elevator. Our room is located at the 4th floor. But the location is very good, its centrally located to all business establishments, near parks, restaurants, pubs, bus stations and even church. You can just walk a few minutes to Benh Tan Market. Would definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues to stay here.
