Primitive, loud hotel”
Over Chinese New Year price was doubled. For half the price the hotel would be avcceptable.

old hotel”
stayed in 502, t.v. was malfunctioning and water leaked from shower into room. staff was helpful in offering to change rooms. However, the room we were changed to was in a sorry state, the floor wasn't clean when we went in (staff mopped for us), paint peeling, there's a hole in the ceiling of the shower, dust was on the cabinet. location is nice as it was near to the attractions.

Cheap Love hotel”
Location, cheap
Location is quite centralize near Shen Nong Old Street, though quite a walking distance from railway. Building external looks rather rundown and old, lobby looks much clean, room is acceptable clean if consider the age. bed is rather hard. Still acceptable for short stay for value for money

Not comfortable”
Special experience
Special experience that it was a love hotel. Can heard special sounds from next room which couldn't rest nicely. TV only play porn video and couldn't connect to other channel. Lighting of the room is so dim due to only one downlight was installed to bright the room while the washroom same too.

location
This place is dirty and old. Other hotels in Tainan in the the budget range have dated furniture too but will be at least give you the feeling that it is clean.

Cheap hotel”
location, value for money
It was a pretty run down hotel in town. Location is good, near to public transport. Room is under maintenance, old and rusty. I stayed during winter, so kinda cold.

Nice little hotel.”
Location, Affordable, Friendly Staff
The hotel is more of a love shack, but it is OK for a few night stay for solo travelers, but probably not a good place for families with children. It is in a great location in town. While the hotel staff has limited English, they do try their best to accommodate and understand non-Chinese speakers. It is a good value for the money and I will probably stay here again the next time I am in Tainan.

Great budget hotel”
Cleanliness, price, location
We received a great deal on this hotel through Agoda, and were initially worried that would impact the service or quality of the room we received. However, our room was clean and the amenities were reasonable (if basic, e.g. we opted to get a room with a window but no bathtub, the showerhead was well placed away from everything in the bathroom though). During the day, it seemed like our hotel was a little further from the main sights of Tainan, but we were excited to find that a) the tour bus stops just a block a way and b) the street outside comes to life at night. Overall, awesome value for money.

Friendly cheap hotel”
Friendly staff, great location and clean room
I read previous reviews and some were negative and so it scared me since I went ahead and booked it. For example I am a little claustrophobic and someone mentioned they were in a room without windows so I was kinda freakin out but luckily I got a window. The room was clean and had a smell of smoke which I hate but I asked for a change and they immediately provided a better non smoked in room. The TV was a pain since the english channel was fussy but hey I am a tourist and I am out almost all the time! Sure it's not a luxury hotel but its clean and the basic essentials are there. The best thing is that although most of the staff don't speak English, I still managed to get everything sorted because the receptionist actually called her daughter to speak with me to sort things...now that's what I call helpful! The location is really good and very close to many eateries. There is a small problem and that is they don't have an electric kettle and they provide a flask and you have to go to a hot water machine you share with everyone on your floor by the fire exit! But please remember I stayed here to save money and it's cheap but some may not find it to their flavour!

Tainan is a sweet town”
Low cost, fast Internet, in interesting neighborhood
The Haian Street Museum is just outside. There is a busy daily market on the other side of the street. Patio cafes and beer gardens line Haian. There are interesting shops and cafes in the alleys and smaller streets surrounding the hotel. The hotel is not new, but the Internet is fast, the water is hot and high-pressure, the rooms seem huge for the price. They even have refrigerators. If you can take the age and loss of gleam, you can't beat this hotel's rates, room size and fast wi-fi. I have to mention the roast pork rice shop a few blocks away: Yongle Shao Rou Fan. Yep.
