5 star relaxation”
We stayed here for 13 nights. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. There is the quiet sound of relaxing music playing around the site making you feel relaxed instantaneously. The staff were friendly, smiling, and more than willing to help. We were shown our room and fell in love with it. All the rooms are seperate villas with their own private pool so you don't feel like you are staying in a resort. We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe villa with a seperate spa room and veranda with daybed. We felt spoilt. We ate at the restaurant only twice as the food was alot more expensive than in Hua Hin itself but the food was beautiful and you definately get your money's worth in terms of quality and alot of it was organic. The location was out of town but that didn't tarnish the experience. Hua Hin itself is a busy town and the beach isn't wonderful but it has a certain charm. There is a free shuttle bus from the resort into Hua Hin so you get the best of both worlds. The spa at the resort looks lovely but we didn't try any of the treatments because they were so much more expensive than in town. Absolutely wonderful resort and would stay there again. By the end of the holiday we were so relaxed we were horizontal!
Our relaxing little haven for the weekend”
We had an amazing weekend at the AKA Resort. It was a much needed break from our busy working and social lives in Bangkok and only a short drive away. It was such a novelty to be able to get up in the morning or home at night and hop in our own 10 meter pool, without having to share it with anyone else! The villa was beautifully decorated and has a separate 'spa' room, which is in fact a second bedroom and en-suite. Room-service was wonderful and our food arrived hot even though it was quite far in a buggy to the restaurant. We didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening as it was empty and felt a bit lacking in atmosphere. We also guessed it would be pretty pricey and, since we know a great French restaurant in central Hua Hin, we decided to go there instead. It was a shame we couldn't arrange a late check-out, since the hotel was fully booked, but we made the most of our last morning and then headed down to the beach. We will definitely return to the AKA resort - hopefully for a longer stay next time! :-)
Well, I've to give my praises to AKA Resort for being wonderful with their services. The free shuttle van to the town is so much appreciated because a taxi rental will be too costly, in the condition that there's no metered taxi in Hua Hin. The private villa and swimming pool are simply marvelous for honeymoon. I really advise couples to try this place for honeymoon. You may just want to relax in your private villa for the whole day and enjoy your privacy without any noises.
Very nice hotel for couples!”
Fantastic villas with private pool, outdoor shower and bathtub, roof terrace and separate private room for massage. Breakfast very nice, staff friendly and attentive. Shuttle to central Hua Hin (6km) runs about 6 times a day. Taxi approx 150THB if you want to go outside transport hours. I was positively surprised about this whole settting. The resort is kind of remote from city, but for couples looking to get away for a few days, it's great! Kids will probably be bored after some time, so dont't bring them. AKA is perfect if you don't want to leave your room for a few days.
The service is good”
I felt so comfortable to stay in AKA resort, I stayed in the 2 bedrooms with private pool villa, which included a living room. Staff in AKA resort were friendly, they impressed me by their shiny smile. It offers shuttle bus to the Hua Hin downtown, which takes ~ 15 mins. And I would like to praise the shuttle bus driver, my friends were late for the shuttle bus for ~5mins, and the driver patiently waited for them, that's very nice of him. Overall, I will recommend AKA resort to the travelers to Hua Hin.
AKA resort is a place to stay for relax, romance”
AKA is a perfect place to stay for relaxation, romance for couple or even fun time with your friends. The private pool is very nice which you can really swim in there not like other places. the hotel signs too small to see, so we got lost and took us more than 40 mins from Hua Hin town. wifi signal is too weak so we couldn't use this service. the bed is very comfort.
The hotel was absolutely amazing, above all expectations which is always nice! This resort is suitable for honeymooners and couples. The hotel offered nice features such as, complimentary breakfast in bed. The breakfast was delicious and extremely well presented. The outdoor bathroom with seperate shower and tub was also pretty cool, not to mention the private pool!! If ever going to Hua Hin again this is where i'd stay! HIghly recommended.
AKA Resort ”
AKA resort Hua Hin is one of the best resorts we've stayed. Our villa consists of a main suite with a living room, bar area and outdoor shower and bath facilities, a separate spa suite and a private infinity pool which was of a decent size. The resort is only 10 mins from the Hua Hin city centre by shuttle bus. Thai food at the restaurant was very good. We truly enjoyed our stay at AKA Resort and would come back again.
So private – so relax!””
“I visited AKA with my husband for the third time this year and it is really a place I want recommend to all who are looking for romantic place. It is not too far from town and easy access to the night market or beach in Hua Hin. Always, they recommended us to do activities but I was tired, so decide to go Spa, and my husband did Thai Boxing Lesson. It was great. After we went for dinner at AKA Café… Nice and romantic, the staff very friendly and even better at night too. Before very dark, now they have more lights and security than before and it is really great there. The pool at night is very good. We like the nature and green space, lakes and farm at AKA. Thank you again!! We will be back soon.”
Pure Bliss at the AKA”
This is an amazing hotel. We stayed at both resorts in Hua Hin. They are both really close to each other, so you can use both hotels facilities which is a lovely touch. We stayed in a delxe pool villa and when we moved to the Guti, we stayed in a one room villa. They are beautifully done out, the design detailsof the Guti were spectacular and the pool at the Guti was almost olympic sized with a lovely view. The breakfasts at AKA come beautifully presented, I have never seen anything like it, it is worth going for the breakfasts alone! The hotels are about 15 mins drive away from centre of Hua Hin, but they put on regular free shuttles both ways which is great.
Tranquille in the hustle and bustle”
We loved our stay at AKA. It’s about 15mins drive to the busiest streets of Hua Hin, mainly because of the traffic closer to the centre. The hotel offers golf caddy to take you to your room from the reception and just about anywhere within the hotel because each “room” is on an individual lot. There are lots of privacy in the room so nobody can really peek in. The room is clean and extremely spacious. The pool is clean and we enjoyed a dip when we are back at the hotel as it is lit at night. There is an outdoor shower and bath (no indoors) so I wouldn’t recommend showering during mosquito hours! The outdoor bath was not cleaned and has moss growing in it so we didn’t use it. The staff were excellent. So polite and after just taking us to our room one time he remembered where we stayed amongst all the other guests. Highly recommended if you want some downtime after being in the town centre/night market!
Nice pool villa resort in the mountain area ”
All in all a very relaxing stay in nice quiet surroundings in the Black Mountain area of hua hin. The villas are fantastic and the pools are great with good "garden" space outside, all nicely walled in and private. One thing we did notice was the outside showers and bathtub - shower or bathe early or get sucked dry by mosquitoes. We never got to use the bathtub as the stylish design of the water fosset resulted in 50% of the water never getting in the tub. Not a major issue for us as we were quite happy with the shower enabling a quick retreat from the mosquitoes in the evening. The only real downside would be the roads on the way to the resort - which is of course not really their fault. They were full of potholes and made it quite an uneasy drive (especially at night, with no street lights as well). If you use the resorts transportation services - then your probably better off as the drivers would know every hole on the road :P. Note if you're driving there yourself be aware that the signage is a bit tricky to spot at some points as its seems they put up directions quite sporadic on the way there from downtown Hua Hin. Request to Agoda, please start adding GPS coordinates in raw format for our navigators, it would make things easier than having to locate these ourselves (and not always accurate coordinates).
Location and privacy ”
The Aka resort located only 10 minutes from Hua hin city it approximately 8 kilometer, only 10 mins you can really get into the real natural and also bring yourself escape from the real life to the dream place.
Nice and quiet resort villas”
If you are looking for a nice, quiet holiday with an occasional trip to Hua Hin town, this is the right place to be. With your own pool, you can choose to swim/sun-bath all day without need to go any where. The rooftop day-bed is also a quiet place to laze to watch sunrise-sunsets. As it is situated on the hill right in the middle of nature, do be prepared for the occasional pond-skaters (skating in your pool), dragonflies (hovering near the hedges) and mosquitoes (just keep the electric mosquito repellant running all day). Going into town can be a little troublesome. There are limited seats available with the free transfers arranged by the resort (3 times a day) and you need to book early. All in all, if you just wish to relax all day, AKA is the right place to go to.
peace and quite”
this was the third time we stayed at aka resort hua hin, as always good service, friendly staff, and as it is located out of town, we had peace and quite, you can listen to the birds and just relax...
fantastic place to relax”
this is an all villa hotel in the hills behind hua hin. a little out of the way so you need to take taxis to and from town unles you use the 3 times a day free shuttle. all villas have private infinity pools and are very spacious. i was upgraded to a 2 bed villa with ten metre infinity pool (sparkling clean) and a huge upstairs sala with big daybed, and it was lovely. the whole place is very spread out so you very rarely hear or see other guests a few small maintenance issues outside, the decking and sunbeds could do with a bit of varnish but apart from that it was fine, very clean. the staff are really helpful even when their english is not fluent. the food is very good and worth the slightly higher prices than down in town. alcohol is expensive but that is the same in town. all in all a great place to stay, especially if you get a good rate which i did. i would stay again.
perfect villa but not convenient place to downtown”
i stay just one night in the hotel. but i and my friend love it! the whole resort place is very large.the villa i stayed is the biggest one-bed room . there r one bed room , one living room one spa room ,and a view state. so great great great place. but it's far from hua hin down town.. and the shuttle bus is not so often.if u wanna stay in the villa all day, it will the perfect choice.
AKA Resort Hua Hin”
Lovely rooms, gardens, pools, food, deck. Best Phad Thai I have ever had! Free shuttle bus into Hua Hin - you need to book in advance for this. We ordered breakfast in the room one morning - we ordered eggs benedict each but received a big banquet with fruit, pastries, juice, bread, etc so make sure there is no confusion as we obviously still had to pay for this. Staff very helpful and friendly. Check in smooth - all done while you relax with cake & drink.
My memorable experience with AKA resort”
It was a fantastic experience to stay in AKA resort, Hua Hin. They are kind enough to offer a bday cake for my bf bday, and to arrange a special candle light dinner in the garden for us. It was a beautiful place and it makes the whole experience relaxing, memorable and romantic. I would like to say a big thank you to the executive chef who cooks great Thai food and taught us how to cook Thai during cooking class.
AKA Hua Hin, A Good Choice!”
Stayed 2 nights at AKA with my wife and a friend with his family of 4. Booked a One-Room Deluxe Pool Villa and a 2-Room Deluxe Pool Villa. Both are nice and spacious. A lot of trees and plants to ensure privacy. I even stayed in my room the whole day after breakfast just lying under the sun, skin diving and dozing on and off. Great hide out from daily busy life. AKA is about 15 min van ride to downtown Hua Hin. Free shuttle stops at the Clock Tower, close to everything just by walking. The night market, beach, sea-side restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend couple and with children to enjoy precious family time at AKA. Looking forward to visiting AKA again!
