That was great!”

Great location, nice service: simple and easy to access everything and everywhere.
A small room

I went to stay at the Akasaka Prince Hotel after staying at Yoko Hotel. I personally love Yoko Hotel better because of the cost and the service. The service and location was very much the same as the Prince Hotel. I really recommend this hotel. I did not eat at this hotel, so I do not know anything about the food/dining there. Internet access was also cheaper than the other hotel. It was $1 for 10 minutes, yet the other hotels was $1 for 5 minutes. Everything was cheaper and better, I think. The location was also closer to subway. Enjoy your trip to Akasaka. There are a lot of places to eat and see near there. It's located in front of the national TV Station. You might meet famous people!

my stay at the akasaka yoko hotel”

good price, excellent location, friendly staff
room a bit small

I stayed at the akasaka yoko hotel for 7 nights. I must say that the location is excellent as you are 2OO meters from the akasaka station on the chuyda line. 3 stops away from Shibuya or if you like to walk about 30 minutes. The hotel is not actually in Roppongi as it is stated but akasaka. It takes you 15 minutes walk to get at the roppongi hills. The neighbourhood of the hotel is full of bars and restaurants and you have tons of convenience stores open 24 hours a day. The room was confortable, but a bit small (11 M2). I had free internet connection in my room. You have some washing washing machines and dryers to do your laundry on the 2nd floor. The room was cleaned everyday and the staff at the reception is really friendly and speak decent english. I highly recomend this hotel and if you can afford it you can take a bigger room. You have different rates for different size of rooms. I will definitely stay there again.

Nice place”

Very centric. Low noise room. Big and firm single beds. Computer in the room with word, and media player. willing-to-help front desk staff. Lots of cheap food to take away places in the vecinity. Not very strict in the visitor policy. Great quality/price ratio.
Do not disturb sign it is not fully understood; At noon, reagrdless of the sign, you will get a call from front desk, asking if you want room cleaning... Check in time at 15:00h. it is late, specially when you came from a 20 hour long overseas travel.

Tokyo Akasaka Yoko Hotel, is one of the best hotels you can get if you travel to Tokyo in a low budget, but you don't want to sleep in a dorm room far away from the center. Their single room rate is very atractive, And the rooms although small they have everything you need. Most of all beds are wide and firm, which together with a low nose eviroment, ensure a good night sleep. The location is great, right in the midle of central tokyo. I really recomend this place!

Akasaka Yoko Hotel”

Excellent location. Friendly staff with pretty good english. Very helpful.
The room was pretty small, and the bathroom was positively tiny.

The Akasaka Yoko hotel is a very clean very centrally located hotel with easy access to midtown Tokyo. Rotanga is very close and you can easily get to the rest of the city from the Akanaka station which is only a 5 minute walk. Also if you are having trouble with Japanese food there is a McDonalds close by and a 7-11 right next door. I would definately stay here again.

no free wi-fi

the Akasaka Yoko hotel is a very nice stay. only a couple of blocks from the Tokyo Metro station. Very clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not very far from Tokyo Tower. Also very close to Mid-Town Shopping Mall. Close to many nice Italian and French restaurants. Quick walk to nightclubs and shopping centers and stores.

Small, good hotel”

Efficient service
Limited English, small space - though this can be expected in most Tokyo hotels.

I recently stayed in the Asakasa Yoko Hotel. The hotel is near the Asakasa metro station and easy to find on the main street. Once arrived, I found the desk staff friendly and courteous. The service is efficient. The rooms are small. There is a computer with complimentary internet that also doubles as a television. This is better than some other Tokyo hotels which charge for internet. In the morning there is a breakfast spread available, though the price is very expensive. I would stay here again.

Asaka Yoko Hotel: perfect place and value for mone”

Situated in a center of Tokyo with lots of good restaurants, museums and interesting spots. Helpfull staff, no smoking rooms
none

Asaka Yoko Hotel is a perfect hotel easy to reach by public tranport. The rooms are rather small, but everything you want is in it. It is a low budget hotel with good service. Within 15 minutes walk there are three big Multi Use Complexes with museums, a lot of shops, theaters and perfect restaurants. Important is that most floor are no smoking. Everyday the room was cleaned. So that was perfect. In the lobby there were two computers with internet (100 yen for 10 minutes).

Great Value in Tokyo”

The room was fantastic, gave me a chance to be off my feet and unwind, the beds were fantastic if you enjoy firm beds (if you’re going to be in Japan; let’s face it; you have to get used to firm beds) hot water kettle provided and you even get complementary bottled water when checking in! Surrounding area is gorgeous, tons of places to explore and a surprising amount of live jazz. Akasaka and this hotel both exceeded my expectations.

Akasaka Yoko”

Very convenient location, friendly staff, good price, safe area
Room size is compact and bathrooms are tiny

I've stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions and been very pleased with it both time. The location is very convenient to the subway as well as to convenience stores, restaurants, shops, and a small grocery store. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and most speak English well. I believe some are also able to speak Chinese and Korean, although I'm not sure. Not all reservations include breakfast, but for those that do the provided breakfast is perfectly fine. Rooms tend to be small and very compact, but they all have such amenities as a mini-fridge and hair dryer, among others. The bathrooms are unfortunately very small, to the point that I would not recommend this hotel for plus-sized travelers or those who suffer claustrophobia; they would be most uncomfortable in the bathrooms at this hotel. However, if you don't mind small spaces and you'd like to be close to the center of Tokyo, this hotel is an excellent choice. I plan to stay here on my trips in the future.

Great deal!”

Clean, friendly staff, quiet, great location!
Since I have to enter at least one to let me get out, I will mention there were only 6 or 8 TV channels available unless one is willing to spend additional 1000 yen on a TV card.

The booking, check in and stay - all without problems. Great little hotel in the middle of Akasaka neighborhood, with very efficient, friendly staff. The room itself was not big but it had everything I needed. The price - just right!

Awesome location, friendly staff”

Absolutely the best location and staff was very friendly

This was by far the smallest hotel room I have ever seen in my life. But you have to keep in mind that this is Tokyo and so this is the norm. Hotel is located in the cute quiet area walking distance to Roppongi (15 min walk) and 5 min walk to Akasaka or Nogizaka subway stations. There is unfortunately no wi fi in the room - wi fi is only in the hotel lobby. Because it is still customary in Japan to smoke indoors, the room smelled like cigarettes - but not to the point where we had to switch. If the cigarette smokes bothers you make sure to ask for a non-smoking floor. Taxi to Haneda airport cost around yen.

A review for Akasaka Yoko Hotel in Tokyo”

-good location, 3 min walk from a subway station -nice area, quiet but very close to restaurants and shops
-if you have a personal PC you can have internet access from your room, if you don't have your own, then you have to pay a small amount to use 2 computers in the lobby

Akasaka Yoko Hotel in Tokyo is a nice hotel, for low budgets. I found the rate of the hotel, very good for it's class. It is in the middle class and the area located is realy nice, is quiet but very close to a neighbor full with restaurants. The best tip is that there is a subway station just in a 3 min. walk, very convenient. The staff is very polite, the clean service good, but I don't know about the breakfast, as I didn't have. I was very satisfied and want to visit it again.

Location, free water at night, and friendly staff

the yoko hotel is a cute little business hotel. i say business because most people in there seemed to be there for business. the bathrooms are super small, but the rooms had a nice little desk and internet hookup (hard wire only) with wifi in the lobby. the beds were a bit hard and not in their original shape, but good enough to get rest after a night of fun in akasaka/roppongi. i liked how they let you take a free bottle of water every night that you stay there. do be prepared for a small bathroom, especially the shower!
