Aladin White Beach Resort
We definitely had fun during our stay, from the pool view to the beach view everything is perfect :) tho we take some time, during the check in process since they're having troubles looking for our booking. Aside from that everything went well . Thanks Aladin White Beach Resort.
well set out. stairs very sharp if elderly..could have done with another set of pillows.bring your esky if needing cold drinks in room.bottom floor needs blackout out curtains too stop light penertating into room. service good.
The hotel is remote . The beach is poor, dark sand and not very accessible. The swimming pool hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The bottom is slimy and too slippery to stand up. There were blobs of green scum footing everywhere. The power went off 3 times overnight and no fan in the room. There was no one at reception and I couldn't even get a glass of water u til the staff arrived in the morning. Staff were there at 6am but couldn't get in until. Someone unlocked the doors at 6.30 when i finally got a glass of warm water. I had booked a fan room but had to upgrade as such rooms are on the 3rd floor and om 80 years old and unable to climb stairs. Also there are only cold water showers and the cable tv isn't available unless you pay extra. There is no phone to reception from the rooms. The place is huge but I only saw one other room occupied. I can understand why. I hope you remit this review to the stupid management. Also no food. We walked down the road to buy food from an eater
Biggest Hotel on this side of the Island”
First things first! NO VIDEOKE is a BIG PLUS!! If you want a quiet place to relax overlooking the sea, this side of Camotes island is the place for you. The HOTEL has a nice 7ft pool. They house the only Mediterranean restaurant on this side of the island - PIZZA is a must try. Food is priced reasonably considering that they prepare the food fresh and cooked with the finest ingredients. No complaints about the hotel room - for me, the room was enough to make us feel comfortable during our stay - bed, bathroom, air conditioning, nice view of their pool and the sea. The resort is situated near Tulang Diot Island, which is a must visit. The resort is also close to convenience stores, a bakeshop and there's a nice place to hang out nearby called "Uncle Rock House". I like how their hotel management posted the "house rules" everywhere (as you enter the reception area and in the rooms). It maintains order and thereby giving the R&R every guest deserves.
Will stay here definitely again ! Really cool place ”
reading other reviews i had a few doubts before my arrival BUT ! the best place i stayed in for a long time! Lovely hotel resort close to a local fishing village beach ! excellent rooms with comfy beds the aircon was great and hot and cold showers with high water pressure. great well maintained hotel and pool. the stuff is fun to deal with and the owner really made my day. very accommodating friendly and helpful ! will stay here again and again i doubt there is a better deal on the camotes island ! 5 Stars anytime again !
Small dim room., noisy aircon, lack of furniture in the room. Not cozy. Sounds crazy, but they prohibit eating and drinking in the room! Fine 1000 peso and cancellation of booking at no refund! Good pool.
Long check in process , greater than 20 minutes as they were not sure that they had received payment even though I showed them agoda receipt, saying paid. No toilet seat Aircon that makes a freight train seem quiet Slowest internet ,not work in rooms, only restaurant. During power outages they not use their generator Beds very low to ground
Nice pool, nothing else”
We've stayed in a lot of hotels and resorts in the Philippines - we've been travelling for 2 months here - and this is probably our least favorite of them. Pros: the hotel is clean and the pool is nice. That's it. Cons: primarily you do not feel welcome. The place has a very unhappy feel, staff clearly hate being there (I did not see a smile in 24 hours). There are so many rules and regulations printed on signs everywhere. "The Boss" (as he was only ever referred to as) runs the place with an iron fist and is incredibly unapproachable. He needs to reassess his decision to work in 'hospitality'. The restaurant is really overpriced and mediocre at best. It claims to be Mediterranean. My wife's aglio olio was a bowl of plain spaghetti served with separate bowl of oil, raw garlic slices and a single olive... Terrible. To top it all off we were billed for things we did not order or receive. These were eventually removed. No apology. No manners. No idea of customer service at all.
You get more than what you paid for!”
At a very affordable rate, you get to stay on a very good hotel. From the rooms, the location itself (very near to some good spots in the island) the pool, the jacuzzi, and the beach: you get all these good stuff at a very affordable. The owner is very personal in terms of accommodating his guest. The staff are also keen on terms of providing your needs.
Advertisement posted regarding wifi, double fan,etc did not meet”
Mentioned double fan but it has only 1 very slow ceiling fan, mentioned every room has wifi but none in room 21 the original booking room, when we transfer to room11 with additional aircon, brownout almost every other hour...no power supply back up...corckage if you bring food from outside...coolness of aircon never met..regret we booked ..wifi too slow in first floor..
Not recommended.. not worth for money.”
Not worth for money, too many rules to follow, guest are not free to do.. can’t even bring own food and eat inside the room and can’t drink inside. All they want is to eat and drink at the cafeteria, which is very expensive. Rooms aircon are small can’t cooldown the room even at night. Very hot inside rooms. there’s no exhaust fan in the toilet. no TV in the rooms. The owner and staff are not friendly. Generally NOT RECOMMENDED for stay.
Booked a 4 nights and 5 days accommodation co’z their price is a it cheaper compares to other resorts in Camotes and the pictures seemed nice. When we arrived, we liked the ambience of our room but that was it. The prices of their foods and drinks in their restau are extremely irreasonable. Their pool is dirty and their jaccuzi is not busted. The AC of their rooms are just .5 horsepower which makes it really hot inisde especially during noon and afternoon. They call their resort Aladin White Beach but they don’t have a beach, instead, all they have is a pool which is by the way 7-8 ft deep...so it’s not friendly to kids nor to people who don’t know how to swim. The place is far from the civilization. One of the worsts resorts I know.
Too much rules!!!!”
I don’t know what the locals did, but hostel had so many rules. Some didn’t made any sense such as no drying clothes inside the room.
Try other hotel. This one sucks.
Very average hotel for the price. Food expensive. Beach not as nice at it looks like on pictures. Staff and management pleasant.
A Great Getaway”
I needed to do a photoshoot and Aladdin was close to my beach of preference. Everything about the place made me feel at home. Best oceanfront deal you can find.
Overpriced for the bad quality and service they give. Staff is the only thing I will say is nice. ”
First we arrive asking about TV and Internet in the room, They say yes so we decided to stay. Internet not working in the room, I asked around and they didn't give any solution but we already paid. Then the TV cable they offer has just 4 Philippinos channels so basically they didn't pay any channel but they offer on the website TV cable. About the room - Pillows the thinnest and cheapest ever seen, towels also really cheap. they have a sink in the room which you can't use and a wardrobe that is hollow inside so you are not able to put any clothes or hang anything. The pool green water really disgusting. Blackout 1h a day, we asked for the generator ( which they offer) and they say they are not allow to use. My guess is because was low season and we were just few people they didn't want to spend any money by keep charging the same like high season. They close at 10 pm, staff leave looking like a zombie hotel, almost no light, no receptionist...Rules strict as a jail...
The owner, Roman, was very pleasant to interact with, we enjoyed talking with him upon check in. During our stay, if he can or he has time, he talks with his guests. Personalized service which we truly appreciated. The restaurant was clean and it had this chill ambience. The food is really good! I ordered fish fillet (cause it’s my favorite) and it did not disappoint! Two thumbs up. Though breakfast choices were very limited. Our room (with 1 bunk bed and a double bed) was super nice and very clean. Set up had this modern and minimalist feel and we had the most comfortable stay. The bathroom/comfort room had more than enough space which was amazing. The facilities were also very nice; the pool and Jacuzzi were well-maintained and clean. We spent most of our time in the pool actually. If you are looking for a place for staycation, we recommend this resort!
GIVEN WRONG ROOM, CHARGED FOR IT AND MANAGER WAS RUDE”
We reserved four different rooms. We requested that one of the rooms be upgraded. The resort accepted the request but never advised to make changes online. When we arrived, it turned out they upgraded two rooms and we ended up paying an extra for the other room that was not supposed to be upgraded. Manager/owner named Roman came to us and asked for extra PHP700 inspite of how we explained that it was his staff's fault who gave us the wrong room. Roman was rude, he never apologized nor admitted their mistake. It was supposed to be a fun family vacation but caused us unnecessary stress! I am not recommending this place and would never consider going back!!
Nice weekend away”
I stayed here over the New Year just to get out of the city and I had a nice time. The staff were really nice, the room was clean and the grounds were beautiful. The beach is a little small but the pool more than makes up for it . In the restaurant the food was good but service was really slow however, if you just ask for what you need instead of waiting to be approached that is not a problem. As a foreigner travelling alone, Camotes was a little intimidating but the resort has everything you need to feel safe and comfortable and the staff is more than happy to help you get on your way to see some of the caves and beaches that make Camotes so beautiful.
