Sorry, the staff are nice. The place was quite unclean with the toilet drains smelling bad, the AC hardly worked and the fan didn't. It's in a good location for a quiet holiday but a little far from the town with a 10 min walk back and most of the things to do in the evening are elsewhere.

The location is probably the best in Travangan for those who are looking for quiet and peaceful rest, no loud music, no crowds of people. Staff is super friendly, helped us with everything. Beach is clean, reef begins May be in 20 meters from shoe line

A nice spot in a quieter place on the island”
All nice, clean spacious with pools to cool down and beach in front of the property, The only cons was it too far from the heart of the island

Quiet place for a short staycation”
Its lil bit far from the center.. but the place were so nice, quite, clean and shady, because there are many trees, and all the staffs are so helpfull.. me and my husband really enjoy our staycation there..

mosquitoes, open bathroom, not clean”
I do not recommend you to stay here for more reasons. Firstly, the bungalows walls and roof is not attached, so mosquitoes and other animals (geckos, spiders) climb into the room. Also the windows cant close properly - holes around. The bathroom has open roof, so lots of dirt and animals there. Secondly, the sheets and towels were not clean as expected, mosquito net above the bed was dirty :( . The location is a bit remote, you have to walk/ride with the bicycle to the harbor 15min for lunch/dinner. Also the hotel has bad lounge chairs on the beach - no view, because all the bushes/small trees on the beach...like they do not care much :) we were disappointed and changed hotel after 2 nights.

Beautiful and relaxing”
We chose the seafront room above reception which had an enormous deck/balcony where we spent a lot of time when not lounging on the beach or snorkeling in front of the hotel. Fantastic staff, delicious food and great location. only negative was our room had no aircon and was hot.

Nature, peace and harmony”
Quel plaisir de retourner dans ce lieu magique quinze ans après une première visite en 2008. Gili Trawangan a bien changé mais Alam Gili est resté comme avant. Alam signifie « nature » en indonésien et cela reflète le lieu. De jolis bungalows et chambres à la balinaise, salle de bains ouverte, petite terrasse aménagée. C’est joli et élégant. Un havre de paix et de gentillesse. Le lieu est un peu éloigné du tumulte de Central et cela fait son charme. On peut louer des vélos (le tour complet de l’île se fait en 1 heure!). Les gérants ont conservé les arbres de la mangrove qui protègent la plage de l’érosion. Le jardin est bien ombragé avec une petite piscine. Le restaurant est actuellement fermé mais on peut vous préparer un bon petit déjeuner! Et on peut voir des tortues à marée haute juste devant avec un masque et un tuba!! Un gros coup de cœur pour ce lieu qui a sû garder son authenticité.

Luxe ,tot rust komende bungalows. ”
Mooi verblijf ,erg schoon en vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was op en top. Doordat het erg noordelijk op het eiland ligt heb je veel rust zowel op het verblijf als op het strand. Nadeel voor het snorkelen moet je een stuk door rots gedeelte heen om bij de zee te komen. Je kan dan beter een stuk verder pas de zee in gaan. Jammer dat wij hier maar 1 nacht zijn geweest!!!
