    Second stay in great hotel”
This is our 2nd stay in Alum kulkul and we like the position and the big rooms with romantic bathrooms and 'four poster' type bed. I was disappointed that our return was not recognized. This is poor PR. Also when we finally asked about the lack of bacon and found the breakfast restaurant was halal my husband cracked. Why is it that where most of the tourists are from Australia, Europe or China/Sth Korea etc that a restaurant cannot cater for both. The pools are great, Papa Lemincello is good, the location is wonderful. Shame they cannot cater to the needs of their guests.

    Nice place to stay ”
We stayed here for 4 nights, we have two young kids so was ideal, beach is opposite across the rd, swimming pools are good, only downside was acomondation as didn’t have a balcony in a family room so wet clothes had to stay in bathroom. Italian restaurant on site is good so not far to travel for decent food.

    Be Careful”
Alam Kulkul delux lania room that we upgraded to after initial booking of Alam Delux offered vertually nothing above the Delux room despite the size noted of 55m2 actually being less than 40m2 inclusive of the outdoor area and being treated to a very strong smell of sewage when we first moved in. Although the bathroom stench was improved after the complaint the outdoor area continued to receive regular treats to the sewage stench that ensured any enjoyment of the outdoor facility being paid for was short lived. Apart from the fact that we paid for a room that we did not get and were constantly treated to a smell that Bali was once so well known for with its open drains we had little complaint, even though the bed mattress took me back over 30 years to a time when comfort was not a consideration.

    Great location ”
Great little hotel in Legian beach. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and restaurant. My daughter was unwell late one night which required our linen to be changed on our bed. The staff were so prompt sending two people to change the bed. Fantastic service. My only gripe was we were put in a room on the third floor with a 2 year old. There is no lift so it was a bit of a pain getting up and down the stairs with a toddler and pram.

We encounter the very late room available. ”
We was at the hotel to check in on 12pm. But we was told the check in time is 2pm, but we can check in first but room only will be available on 2pm. We are ok on it as the check in time was told is 2 pm during booking. After the check in me and my boy Friend went to lunch and walk around. Approximately around 3pm we back to the hotel, the reception told us our room is not ready yet, as they is too many Guess check out and the Housekeeping do not clean our room yet. I was curious is this the service. Thus I told the counter they should ready my room in 2pm and now is 3pm why is not ready yet. But they remain told me Housekeeping haven’t clean up our room yet. It was tired by waiting the room available with the sweat body with the hot weather. This is an high range hotel but the service was totally disappointed. I dun event get a sorry word from the staff as well. It was really a bad experience.

    Alamkulkul over-all review”
Stayed at the Alamkulkul in October, 2018 is a pleasant experience. The hotel may be outdated; but clean and has all the basic things that we need. The hotel staffs are quite good and you could feel the sincerity and warmest making you feel at home. They don't make you feel that they are doing a great service for a tip. The breakfast is enough for you to have a good start for the day. Their pools may not be that big; but satisfactory to keep you cool after that hot walk from the beach or shopping. The location is perfect in Kuta where everything is a walking distance.

    Peaceful old style Bali Hotel”
Great position to lots of eateries at nearby Melasti and Padma Streets. New Alam rooms more than comfortable. New towels are probably due. Pools small but sufficient and refreshingly warm. Breakfast, old style buffet which is getting harder to find in Bali. This Hotel does it very well.

Right across the road from Kuta beach front, pleasant landscaping, helpful and polite staff
I would definitely recommend AlamKulKul to anyone! What's best about it is its ideal location. From the hotel, turn left and you get the high-end Beachwalk shopping mall and all the fancy hotels and restaurants; turn right and you get the street vendors selling local products like wood carving and other souvenirs; go straight across the road and you get the famous Kuta beach. The hotel grounds is nicely landscaped in the typical Balinese style. We got a quad room, and it was big and spacious enough for our family of 4. All in all, lovely hotel, value for money!!

Close to beach, Close to shopping, Close to Airport
Staff at Reception was very nice, Staff in Varandah Restaurant very nice and friendly. A nice older Hotel, close to beach and shopping, however the only thing, I had to go in search of ashtray and there is no rubbish bins at he pool. The pool needs to have pool people ask if guests would like a drink or something to eat, I am sure that this would boost incoming money and guests made to feel more welcome. Overall a nice stay

Our stay at the Alam KulKul was wonderful. The hotel is very clean and the gardens surrounding the pool and the rooms are well maintaned and pretty. The pools in the hotel were quiet and they get alkot of sun so a nice temperature. We stayed in a quad room which was really big and great for the 3 of us, Would definantly stay here again.

    Lovely staff, nice quite hotel
We came over to Bali to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with friends and wanted a hotel close enough to shopping , but far enough from the hustle of Kuta before we went to gili trawangan The hotel was clean and the rooms a good size , we only booked the alam rooms which are the cheapest Type ,but we where happy with them ,we did look at the other room types and they looked lovely Air con worked good and the linen was clean , staff always greeted us with a smile The grounds and gardens where lush and green ,this place has a nice Balinese feel to it On our second night we returned to our room to find a lovely cake for our anniversary and a note Which was a a great suprise for us Thank you to all the staff for the lovely wishes we received

nice place on legian beach...access to kuta without as much craziness. beach is accross the street and the staff are very helpful. when you book a villa you get access to happy hour and the club loung ewhich is nice. the style of the hotel is nice...feels like a lkittle community...not a chain hotel. my only suggestion would be to clean the pool a bit.
