The most unique and interesting of the hotel options in Juneau. Beautiful bar downstairs (don't worry - closes very early and quiet!). Room was in much need of repairs - buckling wood by shower from water, sheetrock rotting from moisture, etc.). The "kitchenette" had zero dishes or cups or utensils or pans but did have a microwave and small fridge and sink and two-burner electric range... but nothing to cook on it with! Friendly staff.

There were crumbs still on the nightstand from the previous guests. Although they reached out to me to ask what time we were arriving they provided no information about the unique checkin process due to COVID. After 4pm you have to enter through the bar which we realized after seeing the small sign and going into the bar to ask for help. No instructions were given for checkout and it seemed to me that they are just interested in making money off of the historical hotel. I was looking forward to a unique experience and honestly, it was lackluster. The crumbs however really nailed the coffin. I hope they'll consider using their hospitality as they are clearly making a profit and able to keep the bar open as well.

Not ggod. Rooms were dirty and not cleaned daily. Broken furniture everywhere. Would not go there again even if given free of rent.
