Great Hotel”

The location is perfect if you want to explore central Ubud. Staff were amazing, friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, clean and private overlooking wonderful botanical grounds. We will definitely come back and revisit this hotel. Breakfast was a little average given the quality of everything else, but there are plenty of breakfast options in Ubud so not to worry, and the pool is smaller than the photos so definitely no laps (dont bring your goggles), but overall what a wonderful hotel already planning our next trip back.

Alaya is a hidden gem”

Really great value if you can catch a good deal, it’s a hole not a villa but the resort facilities are outstanding, not just the pool areas but the big rice field in front of the restaurant and oh, that restaurant in the back is just so good, Indonesian fine dining at reasonable prices, we kept going back despite so many options around. Breakfast is not flashy, there’s good choices to be ordered which is strange at first, even if it’s buffet breakfast, most items have to be ordered maybe for quality or sanitary control. Rooms are standard hotel room size, the balcony is nice with decoration, the bedroom wall painting gives a special vibe. Only weird thing is the large empty area next to shower in standard rooms, the deluxe have the bath there but for standard that space is just wasted and weird, could be better used for storing luggage. However there is ample space in the 3 cupboards to do so, not everyone travels with 7 pieces of luggage for 2 like us… Bed has good support, quite firm, great for the back. Pillows are those thin types, worth asking for some more. Aircon is noisy unfortunately. Buzzing and rattling noise that comes with age, even at low fan setting. If you are particular about that (like we are) then don’t recommend staying here. Only downside but a big one.

This is where the Bali magic can be found”

Full of natural charm, this place offers an intimate connection with nature, whether in the room looking out, at the pool bathing under the sun, at the breakfast restaurant or cafe on the side, or during our stroll in the garden. The rice field is small but evokes no less the Bali magic that we all come to this island for. Room is very comfortable, although toilet shows signs of age. Great coffee at breakfast, something I really looked forward to by the second morning. Bread at breakfast could be better made (would be really nice to have warm bread or croissant!), but I will still come back again for this gem of a resort with an almost pure gift of nature. I was already thinking of retiring here by way of a long term stay.

Alaya Resort ”

Excellent central location. 5 minute walk to Monkey Forest so we visited a couple of times during our stay (well worth the visit- beautiful location good to go late in the day 4:30pm once crowds have gone). The rooms are really well appointed and spotless. Highly recommend staying here for the price. The staff are gorgeous, with a special thanks to Rai for his great service. Great coffee too.

An amazing stay!”

I cannot rave enough about this property. You fall in love with the property at first sight. There is a lot of lush green and the gorgeous rooms are arranged in a spacious manner. First, the rooms were beautiful, large and quiet with very comfortable beds. The restaurant is fabulous so we decided to return there for dinner every night (I usually like to explore other options but this restaurant just was too good). Most importantly the staff is truly amazing. So kind and helpful. When we are coming back from Bangkok the next time we will stay there again. A special thanks to Ms Artini from the front desk for her amazing service!  Terima kasih banyak.

Great hotel! Centrally located on a Main Street, but once you walk into the hotel you feel nicely isolated. Nice and quiet, as we had a room towards the back. Beds were the most comfortable we have had in Bali. Food was great, coffee was the best we have had! Staff super friendly. Would definitely come back

Alaya Ubud Resort”

I love this hotel because it has a real Bali feel, it’s not inexpensive but when you want luxury plus location this is the best! The staff is all very nice & professional. I miss the old restaurant very much, such great memories. The new one is ok. The grounds are lovely, it’s very quiet, rooms are clean, very private. Great honeymoon spot I would think. It’s more of an adult location, I have stayed here 4 times and will come again.

Beautiful hotel and spa, great staff”

This was such a wonderful getaway, the resort is very conveniently located near great cafes (e.g., Pison, Suka Espresso, The Sandwich Bar, Tukies) and Yoga Barn. We didn't have the hotel breakfast as there were so many great cafe options. Hotel premises and the Alaya Room was spacious and beautiful, with excellent service (room was cleaned with turnout service twice a day) and room service meals. We were in the new wing on a high floor and had a lovely view of rice fields. Quiet except for the sounds of nature, and allowed for very restful sleep. The spa was incredible, it was so serene with great masseuses. We went three times during our stay! Overall, staff were friendly, warm, and accomodating. Highly recommended.

Awesome hotel & location”

Don't look any further, if you want an authentic Bali experience while taking in some luxury. Hotel is perfectly placed to everything in Ubud (unlike may other resorts), while also presenting itself as a sanctuary from the hustle & bustle outside. The staff are so helpful, and food options are great. Rooms are perfect, especially for families as you get two rooms for a reasonable price.

The cleanliness is superb n all staffs are very friendly especially Mba Dwi, the front desk staff (errr or Mba Tri?). I made mistake with my booking (made it double) but she is very helpfull n gimme the best solution. So i reallyyyy recommend this hotel to all my friend who would like to go to Ubud. And i hope this pandemic ends soon n can go to here again in few months later.

Awesome place to stay!”

Staffs are so friendly and the free yoga lesson is great. The breakfast is abundance with western buffets and Balinese food that you can order. The cappuccino is great.

Excellent hotel in ubud nearby good foods n eataries”

If you’re looking for a hotel to explore ubud and have a great staying experience this is the place. Location is perfect. In the middle of Ubud. U can walk by to various recommended restaurant. I’m staying with my families. We booked 5 rooms via Agoda. They upgraded our 3 rooms to Alaya rooms with bathtub which was very nice of them. I didn’t order the free breakfast, but we had lunch at Pison Coffee which outside the hotel, and the food is just great. I really recommend this hotel. Also the have paddy’s field inside the hotel where many people took photos there. The pools are not big. But they have 2 pools. Thank you Alaya Resort Ubud for the pleasant stays at this hotel.

Clean modern hotel in a gorgeous setting in the middle of Ubud”

Booked a last minute for one night after stumbling on this beautiful hotel in the center of Ubud. It is set back from the road in rice fields with beautiful restaurants, pools, lighting, pools, etc. The room was spacious and super clean with a private terrace and massive bathtub, and staff were pleasant. (Tip: you can book your own taxi at half price on the street rather than using the hotel service). Yoga Barn is close by for any yogis, connected through a pedestrian walkway just south of the hotel. My only disappointment was that I really wanted to dine at one of their lovely restaurants that evening but the music didn’t match the sophisticated decor to my taste - so we went out elsewhere. The morning vibe was more cozy and chill - maybe it was just the Friday night scene. Overall a stunning value, would stay again.

One of the best medium priced hotels in Ubud. ”

I have stayed at countless hotels. This has got to be the one of only few with best room service. It was a very relaxing stay. 5 star to the management.

Must stay resort”

We were two families and stayed for 5 days in Ubud. The location of the resort is strategic, calm nearby and few minutes walk takes you to the vibrant city center. We booked the Alaya rooms and they were huge and super comfortable. The staff were very friendly right through.
