Perfect stay”
We stayed one night at Albany villa and had the best stay ever. We ve been welcomed and treated like princesses by an amazing staff. They were so considerate and nice to us, they made our stay completely perfect. The villa is charming, lovely decorated, and very confortable. The furniture is amazing and the garden is adorable. We really recommend the villa for holidays in Nuwara elya, it's cheaper that it should be regarding to the high quality of service. Thanks again to all the kind staff, you have been great ! ☺

Beautifully appointed room, professional staff!”
Great food and lovely, generous sized bedroom on ground floor. Fittings akin to luxury Sydney hotels. It was rainy when we stayed but we had fun at the carnival by the lake (I think that's a seasonal thing only) and once back at Albany Bungalows, enjoyed relaxing to watch the cricket on our tv and play pool on the mezzanine level!

Quiet bungalow with attentive staff ”
If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced, and comfortable, Albany Bungalow is a good spot! Staff is very attentive and prompt, and accomodating when it comes to hot meals. Spacious rooms and about 15 mins walk to Lake Gregory. Shower pump seems odd, water gets cold, really hot and back to normal.

Albany need more sign to the place.We spend one hour to find the hotel.The new building is clean and beautiful.All facilities is valuable.The best part about Albany is the staff. Very helpful and do the best job.We really enjoy staying here.Breakfast and dinner is great .We will recommended Albany to our friends.

Fantastic”
The Albany was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We loved our spacious and comfortable suite and their genteel, helpful staff. There's a pool table and dartboard for evening fun. They accommodated our driver without advance notice, which we appreciated. I recommend the Albany highly and would jump at the chance to stay there again.

An Average Place but Happy Stay ”
With the many choices of hotels in Nurwara Eliya, this place offers an alternative to a quieter area. The staff is very prompt and does his job efficiently. We were greeted with hot towels and drinks upon arrival. The room however felt old and cramped. It's also very dark and stuffy at night that we had to open the windows. Didn't particularly like it but the saving grace is that it is quite clean throughout. Breakfast is yummy and generous. Overall, a little overpriced but still a good experience.

Wow!! ”
Perfect place! It's a boutique hotel- only 5 rooms. We stayed at the suite room and it was very clean, large, comfortable and beautiful. All the hotel is well decorated. The food very delicious , you need to wait approximately an hour but it worth it! The service was excellent- they drice to the city to buy for us beers and take our laundry. They also make for us sandwiches for the Horton Plains trip. And of course there is a pool table :) Enjoy!

Beautiful Bungalow Stay Marred by Mosquitoes at Night”
We booked 2 rooms for a night. It's a beautiful bungalow with a nice view and excellent service. The very helpful staff prepared a nice cozy dinner for us and also packed breakfast for our early check-out for Horton Plains hiking. However, minor setback is when our rest was interrupted by mosquitoes and poor sound proofing of both rooms.

Great stay with super nice staffs”
We were happy to stay in Albanly in Christmas Eve. The room were clean with a new , Modern style bathroom.Staffs were super friendly & helpful, we just stay for 1 night, and had to go Horton Plains early in next morning, they gave us some fruits & bottled water as breakfast without request .Unfortunaly , it was a terrible traffic jam when we go back to the hotel after hiking in Horton Plains because of the Holiday, they waited us to come back & pack our luggages until 3pm, but all the staffs were super nice!Must try their vegetables which growing in their garden. Also, they provide free parking & driver's room.

very beautiful place. awsome bed”
We really liked our stay, we were alone in the whole hotel. they have pool table and darts which was also fun. the whole building is wood and cowsy. They say there is driver acomodation but our driver got offended by what they offer and didnt agree to stay which cost us 10$ more. He said no driver would agrew to stay with this condition so take it into consideration. other than that all good also nice breakfast.

Good double-story room. The suite is so-so”
++ The staff is extremely welcoming and gentle. ++ Our double-story room was very cosy. ++ The food is nice. -- The staff or staff's friends (I am not sure if they were staff because we were served by one person) the whole morning were watching sports on the big TV on the second floor. The soundproofing of the door on the second story can be improved - we heard the husband of a family of three staying in the room which can be accessed through that door, snoring during the night. ++ The carpet in our room was mildly stained and one of 2 lamps in the bathroom mirror wasn't working. When we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly offered to relocate us to a suite. But in the suite both bathroom mirrors lamps were not working, the edge of the mirror was broken, plus the carpet was very stained, and the suite itself lacked cosiness. So we declined. We were respectfully and gently told that other guests haven't complained with regard to the mirrors and hence they were not repaired.

We were given a one bedroom apartment with big living room . they have driver quarter so very convenient for our driver . packed breakfast for us as we needed to leave at 5 am to Horton plain. shower room is super with really hot and strong shower water. highly recommended.

A colonial treasure”
The house is really clean, the decoration in colonial style (which is perfect considering the surroundings are tea estates), the bed warm and the shower really great. The staff was really helpful and kind. The food is amazing and there's so much to eat. A great stay, warmly recommend.
