This hotel was our choice last time, we did not have the breakfast this time as we were a little disappointed last time but otherwise excellent
Hotel in an old house with modern design”
We stayed in this hotel for only one night as we planned to only one and half day in Verona. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was super spacious so we could walk around freely, and place our luggage cases without blocking our way. There was a hot tub in the bathroom, and a separate toilet. The staff was also very nice and kept our luggages locked in a room when we asked for leaving them in the hotel for half day after we checked out. The room has a good and modern design. The ceiling was particularly pretty, made of woods and gave a feeling of antiqueness. The hotel is located in via mazzanti, but it is actually at the back streets, so we spent some time looking for it on the evening we arrived. When you arrive at via mazzanti and see a lot of restaurants and open market area, actually you have to walk to the end of via mazzanti to reach via fogge, where you can reach the back street of via Mazzanti. If you are afraid of losing your way I suggest you check out the map or talk to the hotel first. We just used GPS so it was a bit confusing. But when you find it once you won't have a problem. It is convenient and in walking distance to all scenic spots, such as the Romeo and Juliet house, the arena, and the churches. The buffet breakfast was great too, though a lot of biscuits or cookies were not homemade but bought from supermarket (can tell from the packaging). The heating rack for towel in our room was not functioning. The staff came for checking but he said he couldn't do anything, so some of my small laundry stayed wet (as we went during the new year so it was wet and cold). I suggest the hotel fix the heating rack, and everything would be perfect.
December in Verona”
I really enjoyed my three nights at the hotel. I was able to do lots of tourist walks during the day whilst there were an abundance of cafés, restaurants and bars close by. Each day began with an excellent breakfast (included in the price) and the staff all spoke English and were very helpful. I would recommend the hotel for anyone going to Verona.
ticks all the boxes, but breakfast needs improvement, otherwise brilliant
perfect location ”
We have nothing but praise for the staff who were very helpfull and friendly, the rooms were excelent and very clean with comfortable beds, the breakfast was not the best we have had but was adequate, overall we gave it the thumbs up. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
Hidden gem - just recently opended”
We really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Mazzanti. We booked it even though there weren't any recommendations left for it yet. Therefore we were totally in the dark what we could expect. And then we arrived and found a hotel which has 4 Star standard for 3 star prices. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bathroom is new and clean and the beds are just heaven! Location is great but yet quiet - right next to Piazza Erbe and the main shopping street - Via Mazzini. Breakfast is also really great with fresh fruit and great freshly mad cappucciono. We will definately be back!
Perfekte Location, tolles Hotel”
Massima tranquillità in pieno centro”
Ottimo, confortevole splendida posizione e camere abbastanza spaziose e molto curate.
