So Good I Booked It Twice”

Drove down to Victoria form Canberra over the Easter break to visit family. I booked the Albury Townhouse Motel for the trip down and I liked it so much that I rebooked for the trip home! The lovely owner of the motel even remembered me and returned my shampoo that I had left behind during my first stay. Highly recommended that anyone stays here for short or long trips. Impeccably clean rooms, amazing customer service and a comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious as well!

I'm a Asian tourist who lived in Albury Townhouse Motel, and the owner was kind for me, he can say hello for me in chinese language, and he provide a comfortable room for me, it would be a great choice.

A surprise place, that is far better than expected”

We stayed one night at the Albury Townhouse Motel. It is typical of many older Australian motels with 70's dark brick walls and matching decor. BUT - this was well done and a really enjoyable place to stay. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast very good and really helpful staff. Also close by to good eating establishments - not high gourmet, but very accessible and good value for money. We will use this motel again if staying in the area.

Great value for money”

Needed a single night's accommodation prior to flying out of Albury so didnt see much of the town - the motel location appeared to be central with lots of eating places, shops and supermarket pretty close by. I booked this through Agoda as a partner of Velocity programme and very satisfied with both price and Motel itself. I would consider it a good 3.5 star - Graham at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and offered a warm welcome & outstanding customer service. The facilities are fine - bed was pretty comfortable, room was quite clean, being able to ask for a microwave was very good on a cold night & breakfast the next morning was great! Being able to use the breakfast credit towards your personal choice and pay any difference offered customer flexibility which I thought was an excellent idea. Would most definitely return and stay again on future visits and happy to recommend.

We’ve stayed at the Albury Townhouse 5 times and it’s consistently great value and scrupulously clean, in a brilliant location. Large rooms and great breakfasts cap off the experience!!

Great overnighter ”

The townhouse motel is a great place to stay overnight. Comfortable bed, and a very clean, spacious, well equipped room. Not pretentious, but honest and good. Staff very amenable.

Always stay here”

Like i have mentioned before, i always stay here when in Albury. Place is clean and tidy, bed comfy and closed to club for a meal. The staff are wonderful and very helpful if you need anything . Price is great as well

Our short stop in Albury was a success. Our room was really comfortable and huge, the bathroom fully equiped and big. Good parking and breakfast ok. The manager was really friendly and helpful. A place we will remember and suggest to everyone!

Very good motel for a short stay in Albury

My Opinion”

If you want to get some sleep don't get put in room 8 or perhaps the one above it. Lovely large motel room But its location is on the intersection of two normally busy streets. Yes it quietens down between 10pm and 5am. However, there is a Traffic Control Light directly outside the room with one of the beeping boxes for blind persons (no problem with that concept) and it cycles into the beeping sound every cycle of the lights: can be quite annoying. I know the motel owner didn't put it there but it is still something that disturbs one's sleep.

Good family room for kids”

Good stay for family with kids. TV remote control was not working properly; could only change channels at close range. A bit noisy as motel is next to a main road but it wasn't unbearable. Staff was nice. Bedding was clean. Would recommend to family & friends.

Breakfast not quite 'free' as advertised!”

We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. Room was large (3 adults). Large bathroom as well (shower over bathtub on first floor so not suitable with someone with a disability). Free internet - ask at reception for this; was not offered on arrival. Free breakfast was advertised but this is technically incorrect - should have read - $7.50 credit towards breakfast each morning delivered to your room on request. Tea/coffee available in room. Two pods coffees in room with coffee machine - more available at $1.50 each. Considering the room was booked and paid for for 3 adults,then 3 of everything should have been supplied. Fridge, toaster, kettle in room. No microwave. Some cutlery and crockery available in room. Split system air con and flat screen tv in room.

The room was clean and well presented. Hot breakfast was complimentary to value of $15 and served in room. Easy and close walk to shopping centre. Room faced street but was quiet. Enjoyed our stopover.

Stayed on the way up to Sydney from melbourne and would recommend. Good value for money, exceptionally clean and even free brekkie if you get there by 7pm to order it. Would stay again. Thanks!
