Peaceful stay”
We had a very relaxing one night stay at alegria dive resort. Good place to stay for getting to waterfalls. Dive operations impacted by typhoon Odette, we did not do any water activities. Lovely hosts who care a lot about the area and were very friendly. Accomodation is simple but had everything we needed.

Choose another option if you're not diving”
- the room all the time it was too hot. - in 3 days they clean the bathroom just one. - I didn't feel comfy with the owner, if you're not buying a diving course or paying for use his snorkeling staff he'll ignore you. - far away. Rent a motorbike. - "private beach" is not a properly beach. + Staff is nice. + Free water. + If you're doing diving, they guys are really professional. + Nice place to spend sunset

Think before you book”
Don’t book this place if you want a quiet place to unwind and destress. My room was next to a bar where they played very loud music. There’s no beach where you can sit and watch the water or the sunset. The place is so small. This place is ideal only for divers and other people who want to get drunk. The room though is nice and spacious but i was not there just to hide in my room

thank you for your review, we are a resort that conducts activities throughout the day such as scuba diving snorkelling freediving and dolphin watching therefore the resort can attract alot of guests who are interested and want to come here for these activities (waters activities) the bar itself is a plqce where people chill and interact about the daily qctivity and share convo. We understand that you were looking for a very quite retreat therefore we suggest in the future that maybe you shouldnt choose activity resorts for tranquil peace.

We had the basic room. It was really clean! The owner is very nice and kind person! Loved to stay hear! Had a good time with the locals. If you want to discover the island, you had to rent a bike in moalboal.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was sick, and they gave me medicine! The room was also very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I wish there were a hot shower.

Nice staff and bar but very basic room”
It is located quite remotely so that you will likely have your breakfast and dinner here. The veggie burger was great, breakfast is ok but a little bit too expensive for what you get if you order the English, the American with sausage is much better. The barnin the evening is no ce. The staff very friendly and charming. Rooms very basic. Almost no furniture, no place to leave or hang anything, very very basic room where you only want to sleep in. Evaluating this, it is too expensive for what you get. The house reef is nice. If they improve the rooms it is ok.

Fantastic family runs the place ”
I had the most amazing time there. With the owners we had a piglet slaughtered and roasted in the traditional Filipino lechon baboy style. Amazing few days spent there. Fantastic people, very kind and helpful. Love to go back one day.

The hotel has a totally unfriendly and incompetent staff. The room was extremely small and dirty. Toilet and shower didn't work. On request for another room we were kicked out of the hotel.

Leider nicht was ich erwartet habe”
Ich hatte bei einem „Dive Resort“ leider etwas anderes erwartet. Tauchen hieß hier, dass man selbst mit dem Schnorchel losziehen konnte...ich hatte das Budget Zimmer, welches mich eher an eine Jugendherberge erinnert hat. (Stockbett, Tisch mit zwei Stühlen, mehr nicht) sehr kahl eingerichtet...das Gemeinschaftsbad wurde während der 2 Nächte, die ich dort verbracht habe nicht gereinigt. Wirklich schade. Generell ist jedoch anzumerken, dass das Resort erst seit 4 Monaten offen hat und definitiv nicht fertig ist. (Bspw. Boot für Tauchgänge wird erst noch aufbereitet, Bar am Steg befindet sich im Aufbau) Lage ist leider auch nicht optimal, da nichts drum herum ist. ABER Frühstück war lecker & Preis Leistungsknaller! (3x Ei, drei Scheiben Toast, 2x Banane, 2x Apfel, Marmelade für 185p)
