Worth it”
The lodge is cheap but i didnt feel shortchanged. The room has aircondition, private cr, double deck wide bed and all. The only complain i have is the water which is based from what i heard from the local, is normal. It smells and has a color like bronz because it comes from a deep well. All water supply in el nido is the same so regardless of where you stay, it’d be the same. The staff is accommodating, they frequently clean the area. No complain. Will go back here someday.

Very nice room, Value for money”
I'm a solo traveler and booked a private room with own bathroom. I got a big room with a bunk bed. The room is clean and the staff is very nice -- Rufa :), If the hostel isn't too busy, she try to talk to me and share some stories. I am very satisfied with my stay and I will definitely stay here again if I come to El nido.

Decent quite hostel in a great location with excellent staff and free coffee. It's a bargain for backpackers in el Nido they can also arrange tours & bus services to and from Puerto Princesa.

Pros: Walking distance to El Nido port, large bed, good condition AC Cons: Lavatory is leaking, awful-smelling water on our room’s comfort room (not sure if it’s bec of their whole water supply), the toilet is clogged. All in all, it was OK. Only problem is their comfort room tbh. Considering the price, you really get what you paid for.

Doesn’t deserve the terrible reviews”
This place is exactly what you pay for. It’s not fancy but it’s functional, cheap for the area, has aircon, ensuite bathrooms (the water smells but that is all water in El Nido so not unique to this guesthouse ), staff are friendly and relatively helpful. If you’re looking for 5 star then up your budget.

Basic”
No television in the rooms. The water in the bathroom is yellow. There were some days without electric (which I hear is common all around El Nido) It appears that the price at the actual site is more expensive than if you booked online. We extended our reservation but could not get the agoda price.

Really cheap place. Some of the rooms have a lot of mould. We were lucky and had quite a nice room. El nido is quite expensive if you are travelling on a budget and want to stay in the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful though

Friendly staff”
Staff were really friendly, but not knowledgable enough some times. The room itself was very basic but cheaper than other accomodation. The beds were really comfortable. Very helpful staff when I lost something. Location was in the heart of El Nido and the Island hopping tours were good, although slightly unorganised. Did the job as a budget accomodation if you are out doing activities all day.

A COMPLETE DISASTER”
stay away from this lodge even if it's too cheap! I was too tired from a 6 hour travel from puerto princesa, only to find out that I booked the worst accommodation of all my travels! The front of the lodge is an open canal that is being constructed I guess. Towels, linens and sheets have this yellowish stains! Also the rooms were not properly cleaned! It's too late for me to book another accommodation to clear my head from stress. This is one of the factors that ruined my short vacay in El Nido!

Budget travellers for a night or two only ”
Wrongfully booked our stay for 12 nights in hope there would be a little more in El Nido. 4 days max will cover it. We broke the time up going to Coron during the time (leaving our backpack and main stuff in the hostel room). Upon return, the room stank damp and the bathroom was horrific - no air/filter system meaning the bathroom just gets damper. Good for budget. Bonus - booked a fan room but got an air on room

Only good for sleeping. Bed is comfy and aircon is ok. But,the room doesn't look neat and clean. The tiles look old and dirty. Many cracks on the wall. The water has bubbles,yellowish and smells bad. The flush isn't working. The staff are friendly though. If you have nowhere else to stay in El Nido,it is still okay. I don't think it will ruin your vacation :) We still enjoyed our stay though. We just went back to the room if we are about to sleep already.

The Worst, Unsecured! Receptionists gives a room key w/o asking identity & validating room vacancy.”
12MN we arrived in Alexzus with the gate wide open. In the ground flr, the receptionist is there but sleeping in his hammock behind the table. I called his attention & asked for our room reservation, but he simply says "Fully Booked". I said "Po? But we already had a rm. reservation few days back thru Agoda". The receptionist, with his eyes half open lazily told us to head on to Rm. 216 without asking our identity. Our group went up to the 2nd Floor but to our surprise, a couple is already occupying the room! I went back to tell the receptionist but he lazily gets a key from his drawer and told "214" then gets back to his sleep. I went up again, but in time that I inserted the key, somebody opened the light and moved inside the room - the room is also occupied! In the end, we didnt get to stay in Alexzus bec. THERE IS NO AVAILABLE ROOM! At around 12:45AM a friend and I are roaming aroundEl Nido to find an alternative place to stay. Ds was also reported to Tourism Office of El Nido

Worth our money”
We traveled as a group of 3, so we booked an air con room for 3. Bathroom was okay, although no hot showers and the drain keeps on clogging. I wouldn't recommend drinking the tap water. Its not dirty but I don't think its meant to be drunk. Beds, sheets and towels were clean and the air con works (although they can switch it off from their end, we had to ask the reception to turn ours on at one time). The room is very utilitarian and practical - only the basics are covered and no frilly things. Also, there is no where to hang your wet clothes unless you include the bathroom. A bit disappointed on the location since it was a bit far from the "center" of the town where all the restaurants are but it was still near and it is still walking distance. If you're looking for a place to have a staycation, I wouldn't recommend. But if you're just looking for an affordable place to stay, it does the job.

You get what you pay...but....”
Normaly, i don't write such Reviews, but... You pay what you get fits as it's best.. it is a very cheap accomodation in a good located area in El Nido. That's all. Unfortunately in the entrance of the building the hole area smells like urine! A very discusting walk to your room.. the bathroom is not better, if you want to shower, buy some water from a store, otherwise you will enjoy a shower full of yellow water with a smell and taste of rusty iron. The same in the toilet, after flushing the water, you have a yellow brew in it. Finaly the staff is friendly and helpful!

The place is ongoing renovation so don't expect for a 5 star stay but quite good enough for backpackers for its price and location. Big plus on the staff, as they were kind enough for whatever you need and really knowledgeable on the island and tours.

Value for money and location= satisfactory Cleanliness, Staff, Facilities= Awful "(1) Pagdating namin dun walang tao sa front desk, nagknock kami for almost 30mins. (with tulo pawis) yung phone number hindi sinasagot. (2) Sa room na binigay, sira yung lock ng cr. (3) yung WATER kulay brown, galing daw sa pump, kaya hindi pweding pang brush so nag ask kami kung meron silang water na ibibigay pangbrush so bumili kani (4) Yung mga katabing store, lodge, inn ang gamit na water ay water district, sila lang ata hindi,hehehe (4). Laging walang tao sa front desk. BUT i enjoyed El nido, Tour A and C, people, and the Town..
