Awesome Stay”
Upon reaching the hotel, the staff took over my luggage and gave me a tag to pass to the reception during check-in. Check-in was smooth, the hotel reception lobby has a very nice smell with many seating area, with a great view looking out into the city. After checking-in, the staff w my luggage was found waiting outside my hotel room. Nice to have such service! Not to mention, there's a lounge area by the lifts with coffee machine and snacks for hotel guests. However, the snacks weren't that nice. It would be good if there's other type of snacks, perhaps fruits or cupcakes, or some kueh? The hotel room is spacious and tidy. But it felt like the floor was a little sandy? Opted for housekeeping but when we came back, the floor still feels a little sandy. The TV had a welcome message with my name which is nice and welcoming. But we're not sure how to change the TV channel so that it plays ambience music (some youtuber showed that it was possible), so we switched it off instead. The sofa area was very relaxing with a higher ceiling and nice view. The view at night was breathtaking. The sink area is very nice with the 2 mirrors. One thing to point out is, the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all have a strong ginger smell. Everyday I feel like I'm a braised pork trotter dish when showering. The location was good also. With a connecting lift to the bridge towards UOA building where there is FamilyMart, 7-11, several restaurants, and also mamak nearby. It is also a few minutes drive to KL Sentral/Nu Sentral. One downside is probably the need to take 2 separate lifts to get to the hotel room. 1st lift from hotel lobby to hotel reception, 2nd lift to hotel reception to hotel rooms. As the reception is located on F41, it takes time to travel from our room to ground floor to take grab. But overall, it was a really awesome stay and I would definitely come back here again!

Although the location is not very convenient, the hotel itself is very comfortable. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff are very friendly. If you are driving, you need to have the front desk staff stamp your parking ticket, which costs RM5 per entry. The hotel rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and the water pressure is great. It's so relaxing to take a hot shower at the hotel after a day out! The only thing that could be improved is the lighting in the bathroom, which may not be convenient for makeup application. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about and I will definitely stay here again next time!

Excellent room -- very clean, great shower, plush towels etc. and it has an extremely comfortable King bed and pillows. Deluxe Balcony room on #35 has a magnificent, unblocked sunset view if you ask for #35-09 or #35-10. Botanica + Co Restaurant serves scrumptious food. There's a Michelin * French restaurant on #41. There's a link bridge on #01 that connects to Bangsar LRT station. Grab to most places are within 10 mins. Love this hotel and highly recommend it.
Stylist and affordable ”
It was located in Brickfields whereby u can walk down to the streets to look for Indian food and the greatest part it's the hotel linked to Bangsar LRT Station so u can go anywhere. They didn't served breakfast in buffet line but they servedala carte in botanica & co restaurant and I love it because it generous portion. You need to chg 2x lift in order to reach your room. First is the parking lift to lobby > Lobby to reception at 41st flr > Recep to rooms lift (3 lifts located differently). And parking charges is per entry flat RM5 validate at reception before leaving the parking. Love at the first sight on their rooms, it was stylist interior, warm lights, big windows so it's bright with a side long sofa. Like the toilet too haha. They have a hair dryer, toothbrush set, cotton pad, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. And their bed is super comfortable. Just a bit confused with their light switches bcoz too many. Need some improvement on their TV programmes. Very limited Astro Channels and it is always in bad line, if you switch to net TV whereby it is video downloaded from Internet or YouTube whereby not interesting at all if only you are fans of some travel bloggers or Tasty. Their rooms either facing Brickfields or Bangsar and KL Sentral for Junior Suite Rooms. The pool is very insta worthy unfortunately not a good time for us because they have event going on. A great thumbs up to Anson and Adam who gave us a warm welcome and excellent service. On behalf of my friend thanks for the surprise on her bday. Overall, it's worth coming back again and again because of affordability, comfortable and clean room, 5stars service and the pool. Also the meals from botanica & co (breakfast and in room dining). Amazing stay”
Have been coming back to Alila every time we visit Kuala Lumpur. Room & common areas are clean, well designed spaces, gym is basic but all item is in good condition. Check in has always been a breeze. However, just a tiny issue- there is a slight sewage smell probably coming from the floor trap in the shower area. Hopefully maintenance/housekeeping team can look into this.
