Bright/clean room and big bathroom”
The room is a bit small but staying for one night and leave for sunrise next day is enough. There is no electric blanket but heating which is warm enough when the temperature is average 2 degrees at night. Bathroom is big enough to enjoy the shower after a long day. Staffs are gentle and kind.

This hotel is inside the Ali Shan Park, within walking distance to both bus and train stations with plenty of eateries. The hotel is newly renovated but the room is really small and no elevator.

though its inside alishan scenic park,you still need to pay the entrance fee to the park..if you have luggage,its still a walk to the hotel with steep stairs.if you arrived 711,better call them to pick u up.our room though its small,its clean and well maintained..no refrigerator inside the room. breakfast is not for western type..and it is serve in another restaurant near it..the check in takes longer time..but the staff explain everything..no elevator but the staff will help you carry your luggage..

5 min walk from the Alishan Train Station (Alishan Forest Railway) away”
The hotel is directly in the Alishan National Park Area located , which makes it really convenient to visit the Hot Spots, either by walking or by taking the shuttle buses. The hotel itself looks great and the staff was also very nice and very helpful regarding our questions. The breakfast though is not located in the hotel and may also not suit foreign travelers.

Cramped & smelly drains”
I feel bad about leaving a negative review because the lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. However, the room was extremely cramped, I bumped into the TV and stubbed my toes on the wall several times. Soundproofing was poor I could hear people talk and I could hear neighbors shower. Worst of all was the smelly drains of the bathroom. Closing the door didn’t help. One nice thing about it is it was recently renovated, but that could not cover up the pungent foul smell.

This is not a hotel, it’s a glorified, and expensive bed bank. No restaurant, which means you have to go to a cafe for a very poor choice of breakfast which finishes at 9.00am. No fridge, no lift, no coffee in the room, no bath, no wardrobe, no hand towels. When I asked for a second pillow I was told not possible, although they did eventually find one after I protested. The only thing going for it in my opinion is the location, which they exploit to the full. Price was half as much again as all the other hotels we used in Taiwan, for a room half the size of most of the others.
